We arrived right after our reservation time and were told our seats weren’t ready yet. As we stood by the door they asked if we wanted cocktails, and then decided there wasn’t enough space for us up front. They asked to show us to where we could wait- which turned out to be the hallway to the bathroom. After bring us a drink there we stood there for maybe another 15-20 minutes until our seats became available (about 30 after the reservation) Minor apology was made, but felt like they could have tried a little harder and comped a drink or a dessert for having to awkwardly stand in a hallway holding a drink They also forgot one of our sides. Food was good but a bit overpriced.

Had a lovely dinner at the bar. Great spot for a cozy Sunday night date. We had the calamari, zucchini flowers, and two pastas. All was amazing. The wine list is extensive and they have some really good whiskeys. Definitely recommend.

This place is our new, go to, reliably delicious restaurant. The service is impeccable and food amazing. We splurged and ordered the 6-course chef’s menu and every dish was great, a few over the top OMG tasty! Try the wine pairings as well. Although not listed on the menu, they have this option. All wines were great and most paired exquisitely with the food that it came with. Be prepared for more than just a little 3 oz pour. Oh no. They are very generous on their pours. I think the only thing I could say that could improve upon our evening was the timing of service. Sometimes the wines would come before the dish and vice versa, which is fine, but we wanted someone to explain to us what we were being served, as well as the wine, and why the wine was selected. That did occur, but sometimes we had to wait for someone for the explanation after the dish was quickly placed in front of us by a server. We love San Lorenzo and the details that are paid attention to. We cannot wait to bring our friends to share in this spectacular experience.

Again, San Lorenzo lived up to its five star rating. Fresh Prosciutto for an appetizer. Squash soup was amazing and the Rabbit Ragu was impressive again. Finished off with a coffee and some Grappa to make the night complete. Met the owner and his wife who are both very nice and personable. Overall, San Lorenzo is a perfect night out and well work a visit!!

We were totally in line with all the previous ratings for San Lorenzo. We had the prosciutto freshly sliced before our eyes. The rabbit ragu was amazing and the pasta was made that day in the kitchen. Amazing! Perfect ambiance. My wife had the Prosecco spritzer and we finished with the pork loin sliced and grilled to perfection. The staff was so helpful. Overall perfect 5 star experience!

We had a wonderful experience both from the excellent service and by the quality of the food. We ordered the 6-course chef’s tasting menu and each course was flavorful and executed on point. We ordered the wine pairings too and they were very accommodating with our questions and engagement. We took a chance at booking a table at San Lorenzo to celebrate our 8th Anniversary and we are so glad we did!! What a neighborhood gem!!!

The pasta lunch portion (Parpadelle with Rabbit Ragu) was tiny. For $26 too little food, maybe 80 gr of pasta. The pasta as product was good. The Ragu was no ragu, but a type of dry minced meat. I do understand that prices have to increased, but this is no reason to abuse your customers with tiny portions - the cost of my portion was not more than $3 for. $26 plate.
