   Had one of the worst meals I have ever had in San Miguel in 20 years of having a home here. The music was loud, there were unnecessary TVs at the bar showing a golf game and the food was horrible. I had the worst fried calamari that I have had in any restaurant. My friends didn't like their NY stip steak. I will never go back. There are too many other wonderful dining spots in San Miguel!!!

   The main problem I had with this restaurant was the food. We ordered the Calamari appetizer. It was greasy and had way too much breading that you couldn’t really taste the calamari. With every piece that we bit in to there a rubbery string that would either snap back at your face or back into your hand holding the other bite. It was weird almost like a rubber band. Next was the wedge salad that was 95% core and very few leaves. Over half of it was inedible and left on the plate. The sides, Au Gratin Potatoes and the Portabello Mushroom was very tasty. Our biggest problem was the steak. I ordered the Prime New York strip and my partner ordered the Filet. Before I even took a bite I knew they weren’t Prime. I had to saw thru the steak and the first bite was so chewy I could barely get through it. My partner’s filet was very similar. They have a lot of nerve calling these steaks prime and charging almost $1000 pesos for these inferior cut of meat. I called the waitress over and as requested they took the steaks off the check. The service was pretty good and I have no complaints. As a full time resident of SMA I can’t recommend this restaurant and will never step foot in there again.

   My filet was great , the portabelo mushrooms were FANTASTIC!!!! My wife has the Salmon that was very good too

   Lugar muy agradable con excelente comida buen servicio y un clasico en San miguel que no te debes perder.

   Staff are very responsive and manager delightful. Food was excellent and Albariño wine a treat.

   Desde que llegamos a vivir a SMA, fuimos al San Francisco y nos gustó mucho todo, no hemos dejado de ir porque siempre que vamos es una garantía en todo, las chicas Karla, Eli y Danna siempre nos atienden de maravilla sin dejar atrás la atención personal de Alejandro el gerente, un lugar para volver siempre!!

   I feel now this place is a scam. I decided to dine here after reading amazingly positive reviews on g maps and came with a group of 8 people. Service is good, servers are welcoming and the place is nice. But food is really low quality. To start with we had to return one salad that had a terrible look and was only plain lettuce, soup was terribly salted, lamb chops were undercooked, premium rib eye looked like it was purchased in Walmart, burgers were undercooked, drinks were bellow average, I should have avoided desert but gave it a try anyway and yes it was also quite bad (costo does it better). After dining I went to see the reviews on maps and found that several 5 star reviews have the same wording and from profiles with no picture 🤔. Also the restaurant has several 1 star reviews telling the hard truth. So yeah dining here felt like a scam. Hopefully they can invest in better food in the future, but for now, best is to avoid this place.

    Real quick: Showed up at 5 for drinks and appetizers. Smelled cigarette smoke when we walked in. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Ten minutes later we still smell cigarettes, asked waiter who was smoking. He replies: the chef!!! Lo siento: if the chef is smoking during service, I'm outta here. Went to Prime Steak.
