   Lovely ambience, food and service. Be careful if you drive, you could struggle with parking as the location is prime.

   After many years as a family visiting SC it’s gone down hill To have to tell the staff how a basic pizza should be served and our advice acknowledged by another table having their choice served as we recommended says it all. How can a very basic dish as spaghetti and meatballs be served on a par with a school canteen ? We appreciate that a total staff change has been implemented and new staff need time to bed in but not at the loss of food quality. We may come in a month to see if there is an improvement. However with the prices they charge compounded with poor quality it may explain why only 30 or so customers all night.

   Came for a meal with my partner and both of us got violently sick within hours of eating here. Not what I expected from a very highly regarded restaurant which was also very busy.

   San Carlo is always a must when visiting LEICESTER. From the friendly faces that great you, to the amazing food delivered to the table, the experience is always Fantastic. EVERYTHING is Authentic Italian, from the Incredible Staff, the never ending wine list and the exquisite food. This is by far one of my FAVORITE restaurants in all of ENGLAND. I can't wait to get back there.

   We have eaten here before and were very happy, so we decided to go back after watching a game of rugby at Welford Road. Staff are always very friendly, talkative and helpful with meal choices. Service is normally quite quick, even though they have been busy whenever we have visited. Food is very tasty and always well presented. We would definitely go back and I recommend anyone to give it a try

    Used to have a good food here but last visit was very disappointing both mains were very poor one had to be sent back and completely spoiled the experience. Will not be going back
