It was good but the menu recently changed and is the ‘meals’ are missing many of the traditional side dishes which are part of the experience. For persons like myself who are newer to Korean BBQ, I appreciate the previous menu more as the sides were already thought out and the menu easier to navigate.

They charge you for extra “banchan”!! Never heard of a Korean resto doing that. In Korea they would be shut down!! That’s when I realised why there weren’t any Koreans in the resto - They know it’s not authentic if they do that!! The bbq was fine. The marinades were way too sweet but I can see how that is appealing to western taste buds. The daenjang jigae was bland and had too much oil. Like they forgot to add any soybeans. The kicker is the prices. 1 of the most expensive Korean restos in the city for mediocre food and the need to pay for extra banchan (albeit large portions). You will get more authentic Korean food at Corea, Hanyang or Namsan (look around to see who your fellow diners are there). Korilla is also so much better re food quality and value (tho also not that authentic). Nice decor and spacious dining room. Service was good which is to be expected at these prices.

everything in the menu was delicious. But i must say that the combos for two people, is bigger than that lol and its like for a 4 people party.

Had a great experience with good quality of food and service. The environment was very pretty with garden design. The servers were so friendly and nice.

Open table sent us our reservation confirmation, but the restaurant didn’t have it in their system. Good thing they weren’t too busy and we were assured that wasn’t a problem. The ambiance is really good. For three, the small set menu was more than enough. The marinated chicken and beef sirloin was the best! I must say we had way better seafood tofu soup, but as part of the set menu it was okay. The egg soufflé and corn cheese were really delicious. While a bit pricey, the ambience, service and amount of food compensates the price we paid. I will definitely go back again.

This is now our fourth time coming here. The quality of everything has been consistently outstanding. They have so many friendly staff members walking around, checking on every table that it’s impossible not to get good service. It is probably the most elegant presentation of Korean barbecue we have seen in Calgary. It is pretty pricey, but there is still a lot of value for what you’re actually getting.
