    My wife and I travel for business to the DR often and love exploring the gastronomy there. This time we decided to give Samurai a 2nd try (1st time let’s just say was not a great experience , but maybe they just had a bad day) Well try #2 ended about 15 min after we got to the restaurant , as we stood up left and enjoyed our night at a different restaurant. The Hostess made us feel extremely uncomfortable , sat us in a table where we were right under the waiters path (we understand how reservations work, and if the rest was packed we’re not the type to make a fuss) The lady basically yelled at my wife and said those tables are reserved for “returning” customers and that that’s what available, take it or leave it. Since the mood was already uneasy and the goal was to enjoy the experience , we decided to just stand and leave, the “nice” lady opened up the main door and rudely said “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” Again , my point here is not to get anyone in trouble , but dor management to clean it up a bit for the sake of business, there are A LOT of good options to eat in STO DGO, so better training of staff is in order. Needless to say , we will not be returning to Samurai and will let our friends decide for themselves if it’s worth a visit.

    This is the place to go if you’re looking for gourmet and fresh Japanese food, very good drinks and saké. Very quiet and friendly ambience, and the personal is very friendly.

    オーダー間違いが多く、揚げ物、焼き物、とにかく最後にお刺身が出てくるし、YouTuberの動画をみて訪問しましたが、案件か宣伝用なのか、お造りの盛り合わせのマグロなど全く違いました。まぁ日本と違って仕入れ価格も高いので仕方がないですが、わかりやすく言えば　日本で単価¥2000から¥3000で食べれる大衆的な飲み屋で1人単価¥10000以上払う感じです。本当に日本の味が懐かしい方が　白ご飯と味噌汁、焼き魚など食べる感じでいいかもしれません。ラーメンはやはり論外でした😅 YouTubeみて期待しすぎました。オーナーさんはおまかせ料理のVIPなお客様に忙しいみたいです。 味噌漬系は美味しいです。
