Wonderful restaurant in Erie. Service is great and all the wait staff is accommodating.
Made reservations online, fast easy service with excellent fresh made sushi. Great place to eat.
The food was good but everything was a bit too salty for both of our tastes.
We love Sushi Samurai and dine there regularly. The reason it lacks five stars relates to our inability to by wine, including Saki, due to liquor license limitations. You can BYOB but there is setup and corking fee.
This is a go-to place for us. Always wonderful food and service!
We were the last diners to leave as we had a 9:30pm reservation. We were not hurried and our waitress was outstanding and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience dining at Samurai.
Sushi Samurai is our "go to" place in Erie for quality sushi. There are better sushi places in other cities, but we live in Erie, so this is THE place. The fish is fresh, the chefs are competent, the food prep area is clean, and the service staff are attentive --- all things we seek in a sushi restaurant.
You can't buy sake rice wine, you can't buy plum wine, (or any other wine). Your drink options are water, beer, teas, and soft drinks. There is outdoor dining, but no, you can't bring your pooch on a leash.
That's about the sum of it. 寿司サムライおすすめ
Very pleasantly surprised to find such good sashimi in Erie, PA. We have visited both Japan and Indonesia, so we have high standards. The sashimi and nasi goreng were both very good. And Sapporo on tap- excellent!
Service from Constance was fast and pleasant. Thank you!
We had a very good meal with a good variety of items to choose.
This was my second time here and it was great! They have both inside and outdoor dining options. The sushi is fantastic and the service is great. It is definitely one of the best places (if not the best) to get sushi around Erie. I haven’t had the hibachi or other items but the tables around us were raving about it! Definitely worth checking out if in the area or if you want great sushi!
Service was very good! Soup starter was tasty! Surf and turf was very good. Only thing missing would be some butter to dip the lobster. Got noodles instead of rice, $2 upcharge but I felt it was worth it! Certainly will be returning.
Cute little place, almost diner like. Food was outstanding! I had the jumbo shrimp. Generous portions.
Always love coming here. Delicious food, friendly service.
Awesome as always. Sat outside for a change and the area was nice and quiet, good for conversation. The staff was friendly and helpful and has been every time we've been here. Tried some different food this time. Had some fried oysters which were good but not as great as the Spicy Calamari appetizer. One daughter had the Pho which was amazing as usual. I had the Yaki Udon Seafood which was really good with tons of seafood in it. My other daughter ordered the star of the night though - the Poke bowl ! The Poke had large amounts of tuna and salmon, and a great balanced of sweet and sour flavors. I tried some and it was almost enough for two people. We will be back, and I'll be ordering that next time.
I'm constantly on the lookout for a good sushi joint and this place has the BEST sushi in Erie, PA... Check it out for yourself!
Love everything! Food is so good
Food was amazing as always! Tried the calamari for the first time and it was so good! Definitely recommend Samurai sushi!
I like the noodle bowl with added shrimp. The sauce is so flavorful and delicious. New taste for my pallet.
It was a first time here for all of us, but we took my mom out for Mother’s Day, and we all really enjoyed it! The service and food was great, and we all definitely plan to go back at some point. There are a lot of things on the menu I’d really like to try!
This was our first time at Samurai Kitchen and we'll definitely go back! The waitress was wonderful, paying careful attention to my food allergies and needs. Everything we ordered was delicious!
Connie was an awesome waitress, food was great as always!
The sushi was amazing here, with a great selection.
The food was amazing!
This is the best place for sushi in town, hands down. The service was stellar from Constance too. We'll be back.
Great service and good hibachi food. I would definitely recommend.
Very good meal at Samurai this past Thursday for my birthday. Our server was helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The food was great. We had an excellent potsticker appetizer, two of us had sushi that was very delicious and satisfying, and the third had a scallops hibachi meal that she loved. We each had a Sapporo, but I was a little disappointed that they didn’t serve saké.
Overall we had a great time and I would recommend Samurai to my friends. I will definitely be coming back!
Great atmosphere with very knowledgeable servers pointing me in the direction of my likes and dislikes... the food trumps everything... simply amazing
The food was amazing. Their sushi plates are large and colorful, not to mention tasty! Their hibachi was delicious!
Great Date Night with Amazing food and Atmosphere!
Very good sushi, just the right amount of spicy heat. Very good Hibachi too
Kassandra our waitress was exceptional. Such a bright light in these difficult times!
Always a delightful experience! Took a family member there for their first visit and they loved it too!
The food was great and so was the presentation. Our waitress was very friendly and we had great service from her.
Service was top notch, and the food was even better! They offer a good selection of beers. They do not offer wine or saki, but you're allowed to bring you own!
The place is amazing. A hidden gem, and the owners are fantastic! FIVE STARS OVER ALL, BRAVO BRAVO!!!
*I also saw some heated igloo seating for dinning outdoors all year round. Will definitely be backnti check those out!
Really enjoyed my lunch today. Have not been there since before Covid so I had to make a reservation. That was very easy. Food was awesome as always!
Great food and service!
We had a great waitress who was kind and courteous. We ate outside and the atmosphere was so nice. They did a great job. Food was fantastic!
Great, fresh food served with prompt service. My wife and I will definitely return soon.
Very nice little restaurant in Erie. Enjoyed the food. Enjoyed the experience of trying new foods
Food was great. Wish they also had wine. Great value.
