Samu was born from Chef Ferry S Chow, who has over 10 years experience in cooking and serving people. Samu is the third restaurant Chef Chow has developed. The first was Wasabi Sushi Bar in downtown Little Rock, which has become a staple in the community it serves. The next was Ninja Sushi Bar and Grill on Cantrell , and now Samu which is a Japanese Contemporary Restaurant serving only the freshest and highest quality of ingredients to its customers.

I always come here every time I’m in Little Rock on business; whether alone or will always bring co-workers.
They are very personable, fast and the amount of food is large. The rolls are very filling. They don’t scrimp on the sushi.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. It was only a small group. The service and food was AMAZING! This will definitely be a new spot to eat!

If you love good and well prepared sushi then this is the place to go in Little Rock! Every time I’m in town on business I’ve taken a co-worker with me and they also enjoyed this restaurant. The staff not only remembers me but are extremely attentive to us and very personable. The sushi rolls are large and very filling. No cutting corners here. You won’t leave hungry.

My experience the prior week was excellent so a coworker and I visited this week as well on a business trip since I enjoyed the owner and waitstaff. They were extremely attentive to us. Also the owner remembered me and spent some time with us at the table definitely making us seem welcomed. The sushi is very fresh and they definitely don’t skimp on the size of the rolls. Ordering just 2 rolls is very filling and practically a whole meal. I will definitely return each time I visit Little Rock.

I was on a business trip away from my family on this Valentines Day eve and the waitress and owner made me feel very welcome for coming to their restaurant. Especially the owner who spent about 10-15 minutes with me asking about who I was while she was explaining how she came to the country, the cities she’s lived in, etc. So the staff is very personable and welcoming. Of course the sushi was very fresh and the rolls were good size and tasty. I will definitely be back.
