Sambuca Restaurant - Nashville Ratings and Reviews
Sambuca was wonderful! Service was great! Our waiter Kenny was fantastic. We were a party of 8 and one of our meals and our cold and not cooked to order. It was returned and a new dish was brought out just perfect. The meal was removed. Staff was great. The jazz band they had playing was a nice surprise and were wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.
If you are in a mid-life crisis with your spouse and want to “re-kindle” the romance by listening/dancing to tacky slow jazz while waiting 45 min to get a glass of wine then this is for you. If you are like me and enjoy good food and an atmosphere suitable for talking to your spouse then go somewhere else. Do not recommend
The entirety of the dinner experience was excellent, from the entrees and cocktails to the live band to the seamless service. Not once did we feel the need to ask for anything because the Sambuca team worked together to make our time there and enjoyable as possible. Well done and shout out to Emerson for taking such great care of us!
Had trouble online with the reservation. The internet let me set my time then sent a msg 6hrs. later telling me the time wasn't available. It was too late to call so I had to wait an entire day to call. When I did get to call Sambuca was more than happy to make up my time. They even halped me out by letting me pick a sooner time and had the band give my father in law a special shout out. Thanks Sambuca, he still talks about it.🤗
We had an amazing experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, attentive and made wonderful recommendations of their best dishes.
We had the shrimp and crap dip along with the duck breast for appetizer and for entrees we had the the Sea Bass 😋, Red Snapper 🤗, and the Scallops 😊. Mmmmm good!
For dessert we had the berry streusel and bread pudding which were decadent delights.
My friends were visiting from California and Sambuca really left a great impression of the Nashville scene.
We really enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. Our server had an extensive knowledge of the menu and made an excellent suggestion for drinks as well. Flat Iron steak was a little peppery, but delicious. My husband enjoyed his Scallops and my son liked the pork chop. My only downside of the whole experience was the female singer who sounded like a wailing cat at times. I think it would have been nice to have others in the band sing or at least harmonize. It did not add to the enjoyment of the meal.
This is our favorite Nashville restaurant for weekday lunch. The Crab Bisque is the best I have ever tasted. Sweet, but a tangy spice that makes me want to lick the bowl when done. This time I ordered the Ahi Tuna and the dipping sauce was another home run. I'd have preferred a mixed green accompaniment, but the shredded carrots sufficed.
Found everyone, from the reception staff to the servers to be extremely accommodating. The food was well prepared and delicious. The entertainment was very good and the atmosphere was also nice. The outside cocktail area was on the small side but the cocktail server was very attentive.
The calamari was not good at all. Very soggy breading and very chewy. Not sure where the issue was, our waitress or the bar, but it seemed like they didn’t want to make anything except the cocktails on the menu. A friend ordered a pretty standard drink but the waitress said they couldn’t do it. The bread pudding desert was fantastic. Music was very, very loud. If you make reservations, ask for a booth. They looked very cool but you had to ask for them when making your reservation.
The hostess was very nice in greeting us and we were seated right away. Tyler was our server and did an awesome job. The filet and lobster along with the Chili-Rubbed Jumbo Scallops were absolutely amazing and delicious. We enjoyed the music by Brian Ashley Jones. Perfect ambiance for a special evening.
