Regular visitor to Sambucca, did not disappoint in anyway. food was excellent service was good
Everything about Sambuca is amazing! From the food to the ambiance was absolutely fabulous and the band was outstanding.
Amazing food the red snapper - pork shop to die for OMG SO GOOD. And our waiter Tyler made the evening incredible. The jazz band - the ambiance. - everything. 5 stars across the board.
A must go to!!!Cory our waiter was very helpful in what to order and they acknowledged my daughter Angelina birthday with a card and a cake💗
Our server, Corey, was amazing!
Best Filet mignon I’ve had!
Nice Napa wine selections
Awesome live acoustic music as we ate dinner!
Great venue, great food (perhaps a little on the pricy side for Nashville). Beignets were amazing and the smoke pork chop was delish!
Had great seating, even for a party of seven. Live music was very good, service and drinks were great, and food tasted amazing. No one had nothing but praises for the food from presentation to taste, it was perfect.
Great entertainment, food and service!
Loved our date out and love music. Good and drinks were served perfectly
Fun Family Night. Live Music was great. Food was pretty good! We had adults and teens. Excellent spot!
My wife booked us a reservation at 6:30pm. Music didn’t start until 7pm. Our waitress did not rush us at all and wanted us to stay and enjoy the entertainment. The entire staff was very welcoming and you could tell they cared about our experience! The Ribeye was delicious and my wife’s scallops were cooked perfectly.
Thanks for a great evening. We will return for another visit at Sambuca!
BEWARE. KICK YOU OUT AT TWO HOURS. We have eaten at Sambuca many times over the years and is generally one of our favorite restaurants. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service is always good and the live music is always top notch and enjoyable. We have also been able to stay as long as we wanted to enjoy the music and atmosphere. We had a reservation for 6 pm and were hosting two other couples to celebrate two birthdays. We had planned our entire evening to stay until maybe 9 or so.
Our food was good but was slow coming out. This was not a concern as we were enjoying the music. But……First time this has ever happened at Sambuca…….around 7:45 before we had even ordered desert, our waitress came over and told us our table was reserved at 8 pm for someone else and we would need to eat our desert and go. She was nice about it but firm on the policy.
I totally get the business reason for this to turn tables and be able to reset the restaurant for another crowd. HOWEVER, this fact was no where on our reservation nor was it ever made known to us when we arrived. We would have geared our evening around that and maybe even reserved the later time slot.
I actually don’t have a problem with this policy but PLEASE tell your patrons rather than just kicking us out. We had planned to exchange presents and enjoy some after dinner drinks plus enjoy the music. Instead, we felt like we had to quickly scarf down our deserts and then leave the restaurant. Then we had to find another place to go to finish out the evening. So we meandered around the gulch to several rooftop bars but by then, the rooftop bars were packed.
All in all, sambuca is a great restaurant but the way we were exited out when spending around $500-600 for six people to eat really put a damper on the entire evening. Will make us think next time we are looking for a venue. Just tell us when we book the reservation that we will only be allowed to eat for two hours.
Excellent food and customer service
Wonderful waiter - 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent food 👍
Great entertainment- super music 🎶
Overall fabulous evening 🙂
Was excellent! waitress was super nice and the singer was wonderfull. Love it.
Fabulous service, incredible food, and the live music was so fun! Great environment and nice to get away from crowded downtown!
Great time, we enjoyed the food and drinks, Live music was awesome. Best part of the night was Brittany the waitress. She was great and suggested many items and very knowledgeable.
Great service and awesome atmosphere!
1st night in Nashville and we popped in with a reservation and we’re treated to a wonderful set by a local duo and delicious food. Don’t miss this when you are in Nashville.
Great food. The live music was awesome. Get reservations in advance.
Great service and the most delicious food!
Love the food! I just don’t like having a party of 8 friends and four of them facing a blank wall.
The music was great. The crab and shrimp dip made a big hit at our table and so did the jumbo scallops over risotto. The service was exception!
Service per or post Covid was second to none. Not only were we provided information on the menu and drinks. The waiter was friendly out going and suggested things to do while in Nashville. He suggested the Sea Bass has I was undecided between several items.
The portion was perfect size and prepared perfectly. The cream sauce for the shrimp and crab linguini was light but very flavorful. Normally not a desert person but bread pubbing sounded so good that we had to try it, it was out of this world. Wine list was impressive and not overly priced. The live music was perfect and made the experience special.
Birthdays for 2long time friends….no dessert or anything else was offered.
Good time celebrating the birthday boy!
Mitch was great as was the band and the meal!
We had an excellent meal and enjoyed the service. The music was good as well but made conversations a little difficult. This was our second visit and we definitely plan to return.
Great food & great drinks!
Awesome food and music!!
We had a few mishaps during the brunch. A few drinks forgot, a few food items not brought out and the chicken sandwiches chicken had a full bone in it. The food just wasn’t as good as we had hoped it would be. The live music was great and the server was sweet.
Excellent choice for outdoor dining in the gultch area. It has an L.A. vibe.
We had a great night celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Great service by Robbie, delicious food, and amazing music by the Chris Weaver band. Definitely recommend Sambuca in the Gulch.
Awesome Place To Relax!
Very Casual And The Service Was AMAZING!
They seemed understaffed, but that seems true in a lot of places these days. But the waitress was very nice, food was great and the band was tight! Great vocalist.
Had one of the best dinners I’ve had in Nashville last night. Celebrated my fiancé’s birthday here and everything was perfect. The service was fantastic, the Old Fashioned’s were amazing and the ribeye couldn’t have been cooked better. It was hands down the best meal, service, experience in Nashville. Looking forward to coming back!
Live music was great. Atmosphere was nice, wasn’t overly loud, especially having music. Like how you could hear the music and people didn’t try to talk over it. Service was fantastic. Waiter was great provided great recommendations and was awesome. Food, can’t say enough good things. I don’t know the last time I had a steak that great in my life. Huge shout out to your chef, phenomenal job. Definitely will be back and will recommend to anyone.
The food was great, no issues there, and the wait staff was good. However, the band was so loud, which we don't typically mind, and the manager got on to some of the people at our table for being too loud. Not only was something said to them once, but the manager waited behind our table and made a second comment from across the floor after staring them down. Normally, if we are being too loud and interrupting other diners from enjoying their meals, I would support management addressing the issue. But if you are going to have a band playing loudly, you should expect people to talk over them throughout their conversation (we even had a table across from ours laughing with us) and you should consider where you seat parties when business dinner reservations are made in advance. Additionally, you should handle the concerns in a professional manner and treat everyone fairly. Unfortunately, this establishment lost our business after a nearly $800 meal.
Every time my husband and I visit Nashville, we make sure to eat at Sambuca. This last visit we invited my sister and brother-in-luv and they really enjoyed the ambiance, food and the live band (Michael Fair band)
Our waitress, Ariella, was great. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us good recommendations. The food was fantastic from the appetizer to the dessert. The live music was great as well. The overall vibe was amazing.
