Great atmosphere, food and service. Great spot for a romantic date.
It was the perfect ending to our anniversary trip. Delicious food, perfect setting and music. Friendly and engaging service. Highly recommend
Great place to eat and listen to music
The food here is so delicious and everything else follows suit. Comprehensive bar service as well. Plus great live music talent. What more could you ask for?
Amazing service, excellent food, live music!
Sunday night.. dirty table, slow service, ordered a bottle of wine and it wasn’t opened at table, strange brought to table already opened and then the cork was clearly fallen apart into the bottle. So we asked to have the bottle decanted at the table, again the bottle was taken away and brought back decanted, all very strange especially during covid. Calamari appetizer tasted off and not good. Tuna poke appetizer was ok but not great. After 2 disappointing fish apps, decided to order pizzas and salads. Pizza was fair and the salads were forgotten. We reminded them about salads and salads were brought later but not great. Restaurant was a bust but it was a lovely night to sit outside!
Loved our dinner and the lovely live jazz music! Can’t wait to come back.
We went there for the entertainment which was a Jazz/Blues trio. They were fantastic! And, the Chicken Parmesan is outstanding!
We were incredibly surprised by how wonderful the food was. We had Scallops and the Filet and both were superb. We have been to Nashville several times but it was our first time trying Sambuca and had trouble getting reservations and some of our usual dining destinations. So glad we did and we will definitely be back!
Great service. Food was outstanding. Surprised the floors were being mopped and bathrooms cleaned at opening time.
Everything we ate was amazing! Our server was great and a fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
Brunch- So so.
I can’t say enough about our date night! The live music, server and food were amazing!
Loved it celebrated my anniversary and birthday! Excellent!
The service was great and the musicians were very enjoyable and not too loud. Food was very good. I would definitely go back.
Good find, I didn't realize they charge 3 dollars a person for the music.
Great atmosphere and service was outstanding! Enjoyed the jazzy blues from Dallas!
Food was great! Live music was perfect! Our server, Mitchell, really made our visit special! He was professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. He was also entertaining and engaging, especially with the two children in our group. Sambuca never disappoints!
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. Great atmosphere, amazing food, the music was out of this world. I had 5 customers with me and they flipped over the place. Said they’d definitely be back too.
Great music and food!
We love this place! The atmosphere and wonderful music are fantastic and the food is always delicious.
Amazing service, wonderful dinner for a bachelorette party!
This was out first trip to Nashville and a birthday celebration. Sambuca had great and personal service and did not disappoint.
Server was great. Live music was listed as starting at 6pm when it was actually after 7pm before she started. App's were great, we did that and salads as our meal. The service was fantastic.
A good experience as always. A great ribeye! We will be back soon.
Great meal. Had the miso sea bass. Outstanding. A little loud for a couple.
Always a great place to meet with out of town friends for drinks, dinner and music. My wife and friends were really happy that I booked reservations at Sambuca, thank you for making this night an awesome night.
I visited this gem with a few friends and my husband on my birthday. Our waiter was excellent. We had live entertainment which made the evening very special. The food was so good and the vibe was cool and laid back. If you’re in The Gulch, try it.
Went for Sunday brunch. Disappointing because the brunch Menu was extremely limited. Nothing else was available. when we did find something that we wanted they came back and were out of the ingredients. We decided to leave and go to Brick Tops.
We had a great time definitely will be going back we loved the waitress Brittany and the overall experience
Food was amazing! Top notch service from 2 lovely sisters working together to serve the tables in our section. Great live music, not so loud that we couldn't still converse. Would definitely go back!!
The experience was amazing. The salmon was delicious and the 10oz. filet was the best I’ve ever tasted. The steak literally dissolve in your mouth. Can’t say enough positive things about this establishment. The only thing better than the food and music was the service. Our server was Cory and we wanted for nothing all evening. The rest of the staff were very personable and fun to be around. We highly recommend Sambuca
Outstanding service and ambience. Makes a great place for a date to enjoy good food and wine!
Fabulous food with great flavor! Great dinner music but service was a little off. We had completed our appetizer before our bottle of wine was delivered.
I love this place. Great food and I love the music. They are so friendly and want to make sure you have a great experience.
The reservation was NOT honored pure CHAOS on Easter Sunday. Not enough staff, stayed in the weeds, no one bussing outdoor tables upstairs, managers running food and bar tenders over worked gathering several drinks with his fingers inside the cups
Reservations for Easter Sunday Brunch. Arrived on time to find a line and waited 40+ minutes to be seated. Hostess took us upstairs to a nice table near the window. Our server eventually came and took drink orders. We needed to remind her if the drinks after 20 minutes. Felt as if we were forgotten. Finally a small platter with fruit and cheese came as well as a bread basket. We had been seated for at least 45 minutes at this point. No silverware or napkins, had to ask. An hour after we were seated, the main course was served. Every bit if the food was cold, and not very good. Very disappointed. It appeared to me that they had greatly overbooked the time slot for our reservation and had not planned well. Not enough staff to handle this rush and too many customers in this time slot. (12:15) Will not go back. For what we were charged for 3 people, $150, I feel we should have had a much better experience.
Awful food. “French toast” was cold burned bread”. Disgusting. Desserts were premise frozen in the middle. Hash brown casserole was mush. And it was expensive.
Brunch fail. 12:15 reservation and didn’t get any food until 1:25 and it was not even our food order. We refused to pay for food. Service was awful. We are local and this was as bad an experience as i have had in the twenty years of living here.
Easter Brunch was the worse experience ever! Very disappointed. I’ve visited Sambuca before for dinner and was very pleased. Was very excited to visit with family for their advertised Easter Brunch experience which was a disaster. Even though we had a reservation, we arrived to a long line out the door with others facing the same issue. Once seated the true nightmare began. Our server did not visit the table for over 20 minutes then we took an additional 30 minutes to get our drink orders. Then the menu stated we would receive an assortment of pastries and salads before our entrees. An hour of sitting we received nothing. When our server returned to the table we asked about the bread and he stated he knew nothing about a “bread” basket.....after two hours some food came that we did not order, it was cold, stale, and brunt. Frankly the eggs at a McDonald’s drive thru look better. We asked the manager who delivered our food where was the food we actually ordered. He explained it was coming from another station, to be patient....we thought after two hours, no drink refills, and zero food we had been promised on their menu....how much more patient should we be? Twenty minutes later our omelettes arrived, with the wrong ingredients and we were still missing our other food items and no drink refills. At this time I finally saw our server and asked for our check. The manager was no where to be found due to the other complaining costumers. I finally saw our server when it was time for us to pay. I paid and stated we will never be back. Worse experience ever for brunch. The food was terrible, service was awful, management was lacking, and obviously the kitchen was not prepared. The brunch experience advertised did not come close at all to living up to one expectation except the live entertainment.
