   Outstanding food. We went on a pre-theater dinner date and were very happy with everything we ordered. The service was very good as well. We were out of there before the live music started so can't comment on that, but I definitely want to go back.

   Not my first time here but was disappointed at the present condition. The band was good, some clientele somewhat shabby and menu need a good chef. The sate sauce was horrible, bruschetta was more Chinese than Italian.....pork chops awful but the Brussel sprouts delicious!!!! Needs a make over.

   Our reservation was ready for us when we arrived a little early. The staff recognized our anniversary and gave us appropriate recognition. The entertainment was superb as the band played a nice variety of music with really good vocalist. I was sad to learn that this location would be closing in February 2018, but like the Phoenix a new facility is opening in Los Colinas. Service was great, food was good making for a wonderful evening to celebrate a 45th wedding anniversary. Great job!

   Restaurant looks old and dated. Carpet was dirty and frayed at the edges. Salads were ok, but soup and cheese bread were lukewarm. For this to be located in the trendy Uptown area...very disappointing.

   Reserved for a Saturday night at 7 PM with special request of anniversary dinner. They were not busy at all when we walked and with tons of empty tables. I figured they were walking us to a nice cozy booth because of anniv. request and available tables. No, they offered a tight two top table in the middle of the room. We said how about outside, which was much nicer. Drinks were good. Sweet potatoes were good. Scallops were well cooked but dish had no kick and was rather tasteless. Wait staff was good but disappeared for long stretches. Musical entertainment didn't start until 8:30 which was really disappointing. When it was time for desert I figured they'd do something on the plate or at least comp it for anniversary. Nope. They only brought 1 spoon for us to pass back and forth. Parking is $5. No mention of anniversary or anything by the staff. Overrated and disappointed. We drove a good way to spend way to much $ on subpar meal.

   Great venue. Great bands, great atmosphere. Have been a visitor for many years. Still classy and elegant place. Good food and service. Great location. Good professional or upscale crowd.

   This was our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. The food was great ( appetizer could have been a bit more flavorful ) and the live music was awesome on 10/14. Service and ambiance of the place was great too. We’ll definitely return in the near future. Great job Sambuca!

    Hip environment and great service. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite deliver. Fish was dry and shrimp over cooked and this from a restaurant proud of their seafood. However, scallops were cooked to perfection.
