Enjoy authentic relaxing Brazilian music, festive decorations of ethnic artwork and wine racks crafted from gleaming chrome. Patrons sit under the full bar's flat-screen TVs, around tables, or in booths as the kitchen’s Brazilian recipes power entrees of 14-ounce strip steaks and short ribs doused with chimichurri sauce. Customizable meals come in the form of five grill-fired meats, including salmon, filet mignon and red snapper, with one of six traditional sauces splashed with notes of curry, blue cheese, or four cheese.
Good food and service. Good value for the quality.
The wait is just incredibly long. This is not my first experience here.
Great all round
Server was a ghost all night. Hate when higher end restaurants charge to sub out sides. Paying $20+ for an entry in Carrollton u would expect more. Explains why the place was empty on Saturday nite.
Better value and service at Ruby Tuesday
Good food and service, a little too much chatter behind the bar, but would go again
My husband and I went to Samba Loca for dinner on Friday. I wanted a quiet dinner with good food and I knew Samba would deliver. We started with drinks, settling on caipirinhas. They were perfectly made. Our servers were nice and knowledgeable. Brice (we think) was in training. His trainee, whose name I can't recall, made good recommendations. Next came our salads which were fresh and plentiful. The entrees were just so delicious. My husband had chicken under the brink and I had a ribeye. My ribeye was amazing. The ambiance (we could talk easily without shouting) was so pleasant. We always enjoy our time here. Thank you, Samba Loca for being the backdrop to a lovely evening.
Food was delicious, and all of the staff were friendly and attentive.
My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at Samba Loca. The food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. We both had the Picanha; it was delicious, juicy, a huge serving, and cooked to perfection (med rare - do not get this cut cooked past medium at most). If you have not not had picanha, it is not a super-tender cut like a filet mignon, so expect to do a little chewing; this is the nature of the cut. But SO delicious. The sides were nice, and the appetizer that we shared, the octopus vinaigrette was very good - nice, fresh octopus. Attractive place and half a block from the performing arts center. Parking in the municipal lot is between the restaurant and arts crt close and free.
Great place to go, Food And Service was excellent, Will go back
Everything was great except there was a baby crying the whole time we were there. Of course that wasn’t the restaurants fault. If the restaurant didn’t allow crying baby’s, it would have been perfect!
We ate here for Father’s Day and it was amazing.
This is hands down my favorite place to dine in Carrollton Ga. The food is always delicious! I have been given impeccable service every time! I love the ambiance it’s always quiet, and romantic!
Food was decent. Managers attitude was horrible.
Service was good and very friendly
Amazing experience! Excellent food! Love the picanha! Valentine's day dessert was super!
VERY slow service and it takes a long time for food to come out and there were only a few tables occupied. When the check came it was $33.17 and was given $6 change from $40!!!! They rounded the bill up!! Very poor practice!
They should scale back lunch menu and do a better job on getting food out and improving server customer service skills. Apparently restaurant is known for really slow service.
A little pricey but good food. Nice location in the square in Carrollton.
Food and atmosphere are great. Waiter Eric was knowledgeable and friendly but not intrusive.
Great service and exquisite cuisine and drinks. The ambiance was nice and quite. I loved it !!!!
Amazing music and service! Seafood combo was delicious.
Ordered scallops with risotto. Scallops were overcooked and risotto was completely dried - flavorful but more like a pilaf than a risotto - no creaminess at all. My friends enjoyed the brick chicken and lamb chops.
Always a pleasant experience going there for dinner.
Great restaurant on the Square in downtown Carrollton. Highly recommend. There was live music on the Square which made for a very nice evening. The weather was cool so we sat inside but did have outside seating which would have been great if it was a little warmer or if they had patio heaters. Our waiter was very good and the manager came by to see how everything was.
My husband and I have eaten twice at Samba Loca and have enjoyed it each time. The food is fresh and nicely seasoned. This last trip we took a chance on a traditional Brazilian dish called Moquecas. It is a seafood stew cooked in coconut milk and served over rice. I highly recommend it. The one pot was enough for two people and lunch the next day. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I had a late dinner here with our son and his girlfriend after an awards ceremony at UWG. It was quiet, clean and pleasant with not a lot of other patrons in the building. Our waiter was attentive. The pico and bread were simple and tasty. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. The beer choices suited us well and were served cold and quickly. We loved our dinner and will return again when we need to go to Carrollton in the future.
Went on Sunday at 5pm. The wait staff was attentive but our party (4) waited for an hour for our meals to arrive despite being one of only 3 small parties in the restaurant. The food was not worth the experience. It was our first & last time to this establishment.
Samba Loca - what a gem. Fantastic service. Brent is the quintessential server. An asset to Samba Loca. All the staff was spot on and personable. Great team. And the food! Salmon was done perfectly. The filet mignon as well. Not a single flavor out of place. If you get a chance to go - GO. Price very reasonable.
