Food was amazing. Service was ok. It was loud which makes conversation difficult but the food was so good I didn't care.

Food was good!

I was really looking forward to dinner here and the food was good. My only issue was the server. From the time she first came around she seemed very uninterested in waiting on us, she did barely enough, my husband wanted another drink, she took so long getting back to us that he changed his mind. Our appetizer was rare, we sent it back, she didn’t say anything, no apology, had she explained on the front in it is cooked rare we would’ve requested it be cooked differently, saving us and the cooks time, educating us the customer up front, just being hospitable. I didn’t want to ruin my evening, so I brushed it all off.

Samantha’s Tap Room & Wood Grill is a must-go place. My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday, and I was blown away by the atmosphere, quality of service, taste, and overall vibe. If we lived in Little Rock, we would be regulars. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested!

I hadn’t been to Samantha’s in over a year. I remember being very impressed when it first opened. My experience the other night was fine, but somewhat underwhelming. Sad to see the menu hadn’t changed much. It felt the tables were set very closely to other parties. The server also did not tell us about the specials. Not a terrible experience, but not one that leaves me wanting to go back either.

Always busy at Samantha’s- be sure to get reservation. A little noisy. Note: if you buy a “bottle” of wine, plan to drink the whole thing - everything is “on tap” as the name implies

We had a great meal. Started with the grilled artichokes. Yummy. The special was a fish dish that sounded so good we both ordered it. We were not disappointed. Shared a carafe of their red blend and found it delectable. We sat outside because it was a pleasant evening, but also because it's pretty loud inside. Decor is nice. Tab for two, about $150 (1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1.5 carafes of wine.) Would absolutely go back again.

Went for our Mother’s 85th Birthday . Haylie, our server, was professional and attentive. Our food was served quickly. Salmon, grilled chicken, fried green tomatoes with shrimp and pork chops were all top rated. The chocolate sack for dessert was a perfect ending for a perfect dinner. Valet parking a plus. Highly recommend .

They seemed to be out of everything we wanted and I was given mashed potatoes when I ordered a baked potato. They were cold when served and I did not eat them. Our server was very stressed or seemed to be so I did t send them back.

Loved everything about it. Myriah was an efficient and friendly waitperson. We will continue to frequent this restaurant when in the downtown area. We especially like that they offer modern cuisine with some southern favorites. It’s probably unusual to rave about purple hull peas but the ones here are delicious. And we always get the fried green tomatoes with shrimp appetizer.

We were very disappointed in this visit. It is one of our favorite places, but this visit left us sour. The service wasn’t very good- more like we were troubling our waiter at all times. The food was mediocre, my husband sent his pork chop back because it was so tough.

We had a great experience at the grill and we will go again. Our food was very nice and I had the best gumbo ever. My chicken dish was good and my husbands steak was outstanding. We had the fried green tomatoes which I will order again. The seafood sounded wonderful as well. Portions are just about perfect without waste . My chicken actually had two very large pieces of breast . Please go and try this place. We made reservations for 5:00 which was about right since they make everything fresh. It did take a bit for what we ordered but we did not want to eat and run out .

The food was very flavorful. They had lots of unique options. The pork skins came to the table still popping. The charcuterie board was simple, but had amazing flavor. My husband had the steak, it melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes were so creamy. My grilled chicken was so juicy and you could really taste the smokey flavor.

It was our first time to Samantha’s as a Robinson Performance Hall pre-show dinner. We loved everything about it. Excellent wine and beer selections. Food was this foodie’s delight as the Lamb Lollipops paired with their Asiago Cream Cheese Grits and prosciutto wrapped asparagus was delicious. Service was great too ~ attentive, but without hovering. We have another show at the Robinson next month and I’m already thinking about my next meal at Samantha’s!

Menu pricing is not reflective of the food quality or quantity. "Pay more, get less". A very plain Cuban Sandwich ($9) ordered contained pork that tasted warmed over from earlier that day - not good, and certainly not worth the price, considering the small amount of meat.

Also, the fries were identical to what one would get from ordering at Rally's, except not as hot or fresh. A SMALL grilled pork chop cost $14 - our guest thought surely they forgot the other chop - wrong...... Our party of 5 left feeling unfulfilled and jipped. Won't be back.
