   Favorite neighborhood restaurant. Service always good and attentive. Food usually a plus however stuffed shells (special) seemed stuffed with ricotta not as good/fresh as previously experienced. Other special (branzini over risotto ) was excellent.

    Birthday dinner. Food was great but we did not have a waiter or waitress’s for. Good 20-25 minutes when we got there people just walked by and never said anything till my friend got up and asked. But after that everything was very good.

    Very reasonable portion sizes for everything, with a wonderful selection from the menu. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend especially for a night out, as the ambiance remains relatively quiet.

    Arrived early, seated immediately in great corner table, Friendly server was helpful with choices. Food was eye-appealing and very tasty. All four of us agreed we would definitely be back.

    We brought friends from out of town and enjoyed a nice dinner. Everyone ordered something different and the meals were all fabulous. Highly recommend. The server was friendly and very attentive. Tap wines were delicious.

    I visited for my birthday! We ordered the special, Lobster Ravioli and then the Scallops with linguini. Lots of flavor in both dishes! Only bummer was the ravioli was served cold, not even warm. We didn’t bother sending it back just because we didn’t want to make a fuss. Otherwise, everything was great which is why I still rated 5 stars.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Sam & Luca's! The server, Zoe, was absolutely top-rate (I used to be a waitress, so I'm very picky). The eggplant parmigan was excellent; my husband's chicken alfredo was good -- he likes a bit thicker sauce. The house Pinot Grigio was very nice. We'll definitely go back!

    We usually enjoy dining here but the last few times they were not happy to accommodate our request to not be seated by the door. I know this is in Arizona but to us, it's cold right now. This time, in spite of being re-seated so close to the kitchen we were sure it would be warmer but that was not the case. The open to the outside bar lets in a lot of cold air.

    We were looking for a boutique restaurant that wasn’t part of a big chain. Sam and Luca did not disappoint! The service was fantastic and food was out of this world. We shared the fried zucchini and the Caesar salad, and then ordered the chicken special with prosciutto and asparagus, the capellini with fresh tomato basil sauce, and the cioppino special. We finished off with the tiramisu. All dishes were excellent and cooked to perfection. We highly recommended giving them a try!

    Always love Sam & Luka's. We were seated immediately, even though we were early the waitress was very cheerful and of good cheer. I tried a pork cutlet dish that was something new on the weekend specials. I liked the dish but the chef did a poor job of watching the meat. It was nearly black on the underside, just a tad overcooked. The roasted veggie that came with it as a side were cooked jus right but salty. I might not order that dish again, but my wife's chicken imperial was spot on. Good luck with the new specials and our meals were balanced out by excellent pasta sides.

    Birthday, menu online does not represent what they are offering, also asked for angle hair ( on menu) in substitute for fettuccine-nope “chef won’t deviate”. Not going back

    The Caesar salad was delicious. My chicken parmigiana was very good but could have used a little more sauce. My husband’s clam fettuccini was very good. The service was e excellent. We will come back.
