The seating is a bit cramped and the food arrived awkwardly fast. Our steaks were prepared correctly, but lacked seasoning. Scallops were perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. Service felt rushed, and annoying. Charcuterie plate was underwhelming.

A great dining experience from start to finish. Staff was on their game--efficient and friendly. Food was excellent and plated well. Strongly recommended.

Our first visit, not our last. Our server, Jordan, was a delight. Friendly, helpful, worked with the bartender to suggest wines, recommended the best dessert! My husband had the pork chop special, I had the ribeye, we shared the chocolate torte! Great experience, we will return.

My fiance and I ordered steaks, which were cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. The Mascato was outstanding and the chocolate torte was very special as most any woman would attest to.

Second time here. First time was excellent, this time...disappointing. Long wait for simple drinks, cold food, and too loud. We've heard about inconsistency here, and can attest it is very true.

I enjoyed the food and the view of the Des Moines skyline. Two items that would have made my visit better is to marginally increase the brightness of the lighting because I struggled to read the large print on the menu and couldn't read the small print at all (20/20 vision). I had to take my menu in the hall to read it. The second is to ask the servers to speak a tad louder so we could hear their recommendations on wine and menu. I understand why the lighting is dim and why the servers are quiet but I am not visually impaired nor am I hard hearing and couldn't understand the menu or server. That being said we had a lovely experience and would recommend it to others.
