My friend couldn’t eat the food because it was super salted, told about it to a waiter and all he did was just brought a check without any further questions. My food taste was good compared to hers for reference.

We got a reservation here for my wife's birthday. We heard about it from a friend before traveling to Miami. I will say, this is easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food was amazing, drinks were made really well, but the service is really what put it over the top for us.

I had high hopes for Salvaje, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. It’s trying to position itself as a high-end spot, but it falls short when compared to places like Gekko, Sexy Fish, Baoli, or Habibi. The atmosphere was decent, but the overall experience felt pretty average. The food presentation was nice, but the quality just wasn’t there—especially for the price point. Flavors were underwhelming and nothing really stood out. For a restaurant that markets itself as upscale, I expected much more in terms of both execution and attention to detail. It’s not a bad place, but if you’re looking for a truly elevated dining experience in Miami, there are better options. Salvaje just doesn’t hit that high-end standard.

We came to this restaurant because the photos looked great and the rooftop setting seemed promising. The location is nice, and the vibe is more of a bar/lounge scene, which could be fun if that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, the food really didn’t live up to the hype, especially for the price. I ordered the salmon truffle, which came drenched in a strong citrus sauce. I don’t mind citrus, but this completely overpowered the salmon—it was hard to taste anything else. I also tried the rainbow roll, which didn’t seem fresh. The rice was dry, and overall it just felt like it was missing something. Disappointing. My partner ordered the lobster tail, which was probably the best dish of the night. It was decent, but nothing amazing. I also had a side of baby corn that was completely bland and tasteless, and the salmon crispy rice was overcooked and flavorless—it felt more like filler than food. Our host was friendly, but didn’t notice or acknowledge that we barely touched some of our dishes, including the crispy rice. We paid and left, and I ended up grabbing pasta at an Italian spot around the corner because I was still hungry. All in all, this place might be fine for drinks and a view, but I wouldn’t recommend it for the food.
