Had reservation. No table available. Had to sit outside in a semi-heated tent because we did not have time to wait for a table to open. Hour wait for food after ordering! Missed most of the game we planned to see. Been there before and was glad to return. Won't happen again any time soon.

Lukewarm food was served. I told server mine was barely warm. She said she would bring a new order. My boyfriend decided to eat his anyway because he was hungry but he was not impressed. After about five minutes the server brought me a new plate with the same beans (but in a dish instead of on the plate), the same tamale ( I knew because I had taken a bite out of it), and rice (boring and dry). The food was warmer but still not hot. Of course they had microwaved it after putting on new plate. The tamale was horrible. The meat was so dry and tough I had to take a bite of beans with every bite of tamale to be able to swallow without choking. I should have sent it back again and ordered something else but at that point I was hungry and did not want to wait. Very very disappointed

The cook walked off the job just as we were finishing our first round of drinks so we didn't have a chance to eat. The waitstaff was very apologetic and the round of drinks was on the house which was nice, though we were disappointed that we couldn't have dinner there. I would suggest shoring up the back of the house a bit. Front waitstaff was great.

We sat in a booth in the bar, the perfect spot on a rainy night for the tasty hot toddies. Our waiter was quite helpful in choosing the best dishes for each of our preferences, from vegan to carnivore. Good time!

This is a unique restaurant. It amazes me how they can offer such a large and varied menu, and execute the dishes so well. We'll be back.
