   Having previously been a big fan of Salute I was incredibly disappointed with the food and service this time around. Our starter of Halloumi was under grilled and there was very little flavour to the hot honey drizzle. We then waited a ridiculously long time for our main meal to arrive. When it did the beef was tough, the roast potatos were rock hard, the carrot also hard and the yorkshire pudding was overcooked to a crisp with not a drop of gravy to soften it. The food was almost inedible and both my daughter and I left a considerable amount of it. With a bill of nearly £90 this was extremely disappointing. I refused to pay the service charge dye to the very very long wait between courses. I tried to give the waitress feedback when paying but she really was interested in anything I had to say. Previous visits to Salute have been outstanding, but this visit has very much put into question whether I would eat there again or recommend it to anyone.

   Excellent food (sticky toffee pudding was to die for) excellent service couldn’t fault it

    Great service, great food as always and brilliant service. I had pasta with prawns and chorizo which was superb. My guest has a Caesar salad and raved about it
