I am a regular at Salut but must say I was very disappointed with the food quality. My salad was dry, the Parmesan crisps were stale and my steak undercooked. My husbands meal was good but mine was awful. Service was good but for a $20 salad, it should be good.

Salut was perfect spot for date night! Delicious food and drinks, and superb service!

Delicious food, attentive service, good prices. Great menu options for kids, fun mocktails as well as a stellar wine list.

I usually have great food at Salut but not this time. The beef medallions were overcooked and dry. I should have sent them back, but didn't.
The service started good and then the server disappeared. I waited a long time to order a second glass of wine; then, there was a long wait until the wine came.

We enjoyed our dinner! Atmostphere was inline with what we expected, high wine prices kept us from getting a bottle, but food and service was excellent!

The food and service was excellent. We will be back to enjoy the patio. Thank-you!

Wife’s birthday

This is one of our go to places for special celebrations. The food is always great. They offer a limited menue that changes regularly, but they do what they do really well.

Salut is always a nice place to gather with friends. I was very disappointed in the minimal Happy Hour selections and no food on the menu. It used to be a great place for Happy Hour. Not anymore

I understand why it’s happening now but I was very disappointed at the limited number of items on menu. Shrimp cocktail was really great but the most I’ve had to pay for that is $15.00. Also think trust me when I say “mine is 10 times better!

It was good. Server forgot to put our order in so food took forever. Food was a little bland.

It was lovely to be back. The arrangement of the tables makes it feel very safe. The food was delicious, but the walleye was skimpy. There was nothing to sop up the lemon caper sauce with—it needed bread or rice or something. There was no acknowledgement of my birthday even though the reservation mentioned it. Service was great. I’d go there again in a minute. I’d order the fish again. It was delicious.

I had salmon on the three course Sunday Supper. Overall, the food was great except:
1. The asparagus was tough.
2. I enjoyed the topping on the salmon, but it was very spicy (even hot). That was OK for me but it might be overwhelming for some.

Oysters are back! Hard to find in Mn in the last year. Such good service, attentive but not intrusive. I love Salut!

Sat in the bar at a high top. Haven’t been there in a year and was greeted by the bartender and welcomed back. Such a great place!!

First time back inside Salut since Covid hit. Great food, service and ambiance, as usual! So good to be back to one of our favorite restaurants!!

The server was great, very knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient with our rambunctious 8 year old grandson.

I found my filet to be undercooked and not very tender. Service was spotty!

We love going to Salut on Grand, the service is lovely and the food is great. I just wish they had any real options for vegans/plant based eaters. I am very sentimental about Salut and have many amazing memories, and I am never disappointed when I go back.

LOVE how they space tables. VERY Covid friendly. Service is fantastic. Ordered the Hanger Steak Medium, was barely rare. Thankful for to go containers, definitely will be back, just wish the cooked to order.

The food was good, and the service was prompt. It was good enough to return but probably not good enough to rave about. I was there by myself, and I’m not sure how enthusiastic the servers are about a party of one. I tip well, but they won’t get rich off me. It is a good restaurant, and I would recommend it.

Cobb salad was not very good and was overpriced. Chicken was overdone. Burger was pretty good, but extremely greasy to the point it made the bun a little soggy.

So great to get out and eat. Servers wore masks, tables were spaced and food was great. Thanks.

We love this place so much and it always hits the spot. There were a couple tables close by that were being rowdy and a little frustrating but I know that that’s not Salut’s fault. The food was amazing and our server Charlie was super kind and enjoyable. Great spot

My son and I went for dinner and we had never been we will definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful. We normally sit at the bar, but it’s limited seating with Covid. It’s just sad that it’s so quiet.

It had been a while since we enjoyed a meal las we did at Salut. Amazing!

We absolutely love Salut and have always had great food and service but Saturday night was horrible! Meal was 180.00 for over cooked food and literally no service

This has always been a go - to place for me and my husband. It is a great date night, whether you feel like sandwiches and beer or steak and wine. Can’t wait until the patio opens up again, too.

I felt totally comfortable. It feels like pre-pandemic dining yet the tables are spaced, they have air purification machines and follow mask protocol. The food and service are what you expect from Salut. All and all, a great experience.

Great service and fabulous food - and they handled the Covid restrictions very well - they space everyone out and have barriers in the booths - highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great time on Valentine's Day. It had been a while since we had been out to eat with COVID and it was a much-needed break away. We sat on a high top in the bar, but there was only one other table in the area, and it felt very private. The bartender, Charlie, was helpful and was very attentive to our needs, but we didn't feel smothered. The food was outstanding as usual.
