Salty's on the Columbia
View of the Christmas Boats is amazing, perfect location. Server was great but the overall service was slow, took well over an hour to get our main course. Some dishes were excellent, but the cowboy bone in rib is not valued at over $70. Go for brunch, skip dinner here.
Our annual dinner & Christmas Ships tradition.
Great service and outstanding meal. The surf and turf was a great choice. One off my favorite places to eat when I am in the Portland area.
Ahmed was a great server. The food was excellent. And of course you can't beat the view! Thank you!
We were celebrating my husband's birthday, just the two of us. We had a wonderful meal, and our server was very attentive, with the right balance of attention, not not interruptive of our evening. A window seat would have been preferred, but not an option when booking online. There was an unusually long wait to retrieve our car, since we were behind a very large party leaving at once in individual cars. But the valet was doing an awesome job as best he could all by himself!
Everything was delicious! All my parents wanted for their 50th wedding anniversary was lobster, and they were very pleased with their meal. Service was amazing as well!
Love the window seats. Service was amazing and food was delicious
Absolutely awesome dining experience!!! Everything from start to finish was great!! Service was great!! If you don't try this place your missing out on the best!!
This was the first time we had visited Salty’s and the experience made us decide it was a new family tradition. Thank you for making it a special day!
Had a very nice dinner with the wife.
Sister from out of state came to visit. Everything from the time we arrived to the time we left was exceptional. Our waiter Aaron was wonderful and very attentive.
Brunch was nice but
We just moved to the area from Illinois. We received a gift card from my husbands boss and decided to eat at Salty’s for our anniversary...it was amazing! The food, the servers and the view was exceptional. We will dine here many more times in the future!!
Excellent brunch in great setting. Crowded, but that is to be expected.
I ordered the classic steelhead dinner. Brussels sprouts were whole and large, difficult to cut and eat but tasted good. But steelhead and mushrooms were very good, cooked perfectly. Creme brûlée was excellent. Sazerac cocktail had too much absinthe for my taste. Window table gave me a lovely view of the river.
Great service & food!
The Thanksgiving buffet with endless champagne was excellent and for once I think we got our money’s worth from a buffet. The seafood was delish and my husband enjoyed his prime-rib. The PR was not as good as Ringside (the best in town), but one goes yo Salty’s for seafood not beef and it was good. Desserts were varied and well done. Our waitress kept our wine flutes full. The last holiday buffet we did elsewhere we were invisible to the waitstaff, TOTAL opposite at Salty’s. Loved the experience and this may become our future go-to for holidays when we are in town.
We had a wonderful dinner! The food was amazing and Cade our server was very attentive.
The only thing I felt could have been a little better was the room between the tables. You were unable to get in and out without either making people get up to let you by or knock their chairs.
Excellent experience as always. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Great job one and all.
Excellent. Table was decorated, birthday cake included.
as always, good food, excellent service. Our server was delightful!
Beautiful view and so very nice for first time ever at Salty’s. Food especially seafood was fabulous. And entrees great as well. Baked goods and desserts were just okay. Can imagine this would be divine during summer or warm weather out in the deck! Will be back!
Our server, Christian, was AMAZING! She made our date night one to remember. It was our first time visiting Salty's and she gave us wonderful recommendations and made sure that we were taken care of throughout our entire dining experience. We will definitely be back not only because of the quality of food, but because of her amazing service!
The noise level was the only negative! There was a birthday party of about 10 and they didn't care to try to lower their voices
Dinner was very lovely, and the staff was very attentive and complimentary. I ordered Halibut with Crab, and my sister ordered Salmon. We had oysters and coconut prawns as an appetizer. For dessert, I ordered the Baked Alaska, and it was divine. I would like to try the brunch next time. The total was about $100 pp with no holding back on drink or food.
Matt provides great service and the food was excellent. Definitely a good meal for the team and a good time.
My daughter‘s 21st birthday I mentioned that in the reservations and they decorated the table for the occasion was very wonderful very special and the service was fantastic
The food was great as usual. The noise level was a little high for me.
We had the perfect second floor window table and service was excellent. We spent several hours talking and enjoying the great food and ambiance for lunch.
After many visits we still find Salty's to be an exceptional value and a great place to take friends from out of town.
We love Salty's, service was great and food wonderful, amazing views. thank you mercedeh
The day was my birthday. Last year
Salty’s is our favorite place to go for brunch. Most of our special occasions are celebrated there. Love it when we get a window seat! We always make reservations because we know how busy it is.
We love the weekend brunch at Salty's in Alki beach. I happened to be in Portland so I tried the brunch at the Columbia river. I was little disappointed with this location - didn't have variety of oysters and shrimps were not fresh. Service was great though.
The brunch is always consistent and it's a nice place to dine.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter was very accommodating to our celebration. It was a perfect celebration. Thanks to Salty's.
This is the best weekend brunch in Portland. In fact, I’m thinking it’s the best weekend brunch nationwide!! You just can’t go wrong with the wonderful service and an entire variety of breakfast and seafood items. Bottomless mimosas are a great add-on! I keep going back ... time after time after time!!!
YEETED there with family and I am not dissatisfied with the brunch!
Shane our server was very attentive.
