Salty’s never disappoints! Our waitress, Nancy was truly phenomenal. Staff are all so friendly and relaxed. Their teamwork is seamless. The food, as always, was delectable. All these things are a reflection of stellar management! We were celebrating three birthdays and couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you, Salty’s, you’re our favorite place!

My family and I had gone to the Sunday brunch buffet many, many times pre-covid and we were very excited for the return. The cost had gone up significantly, but we went expecting the food would be excellent as it had been in the past. Unfortunately, the food was not as great as before and the price did not reflect the food we were expecting. I asked the carving station if they had any pieces of prime rib that was not well done (more medium or med rare) and he just kind of shrugged and said no, the kitchen over-cooked it all. The ham at the carving station was rubbery and not cooked properly either. The waitress was the highlight of our experience, she was one of the best servers we have had and was very prompt at clearing plates and getting refills etc. We will probably not return for the brunch due to the food.

Had dinner here recently and watched the Christmas boats on the river, which was very beautiful. The food is good, although my husband felt the Best Friends scallop meal was not filling, as there were very few scallops or at least add in another side to make this dish more satiating. The service was good and the Mel Brown trio is quite a treat! Excellent music from very talented musicians.

Great Value!!! Salty’s is an established, classic, “must do” Portland / PDX dining experience. Set on the gorgeous Columbia River, it provides the beauty of Nature and the experience of of a working marina environment. Where both the well heeled clientele and those hearty Boat Captains join for a delicious meal of seafood, pasta or steak. Great value because in San Francisco, Chicago, or New York, the meal would cost twice as much. Upscale with white table cloths but casual enough to come as you are. If you have ever been to Brophie Brothers in Santa Barbara or Scoma’s it is reminiscent with a PDX verve. PS - Bruch too!

Consistent good food and great service. Holly was an exceptional waitress. Sally’s is our go to restaurant for special occasions and other times when we just want to eat out. They are great with special dietary needs.

We had an awesome view of the water for our Thanksgiving dinner. The food was PHENOMENAL, 110%!! Our family goes out to eat every Thanksgiving and over the past 40 years this place is up there, next to out top #1. We had two waiters a Female and a male. The gentleman did an amazing job at serving us, was kind, courteous and recognized our needs. The female appeared distracted and unhappy. She reached over our plates and took things at times without asking; which felt rushed. Thank-you to everyone who served us!!

If there was a higher rating for the service, I would go to the top level. Our Server was beyond awesome. The food was also "Top Notch". And we had never received a Anniversary card and gift from any other restaurant we've ever been to. A very enjoyable event for me and my wife.

The cioppino was the worst I've ever had. No mussels, 4 small clams (2 had no meat, lacked flavor and served Luke warm.

The Sunday brunch we went to was spectacular! There’s nothing like it anywhere in Portland (or anywhere else nearby). Where else can you eat unlimited amounts of fresh crab, clams, oysters as well as shrimp, trout, salmon. Not to mention delicious chicken, ribs and every kind of traditional breakfast items (made to order omelets, waffles). And the desert section is extraordinary, including homemade pastries and chocolate fountain. It’s fabulous for adults and children of all ages. The service was exceptional as well. The brunch is very expensive but worth it for what is offered.

A lot of food, presented well, but ultimately poor quality. Crab legs and shrimp like they were bought frozen from Costco. Prime rib was good tho. Service was very good, unusual for Portland.

Didn’t realize they had started doing their buffet brunches on Sunday again. We were expecting a la carte. Totally recommend if you love seafood, as they have all you can eat Dungeness crab & oysters, if you are not a seafood fan id recommend brunch on Saturday!

The food is absolutely impeccable The servers are all very well educated on the menu I have never had anything negative to say about this establishment

The food was good. The service was was poorly laid out with rude front people who acted like they were being put out to seat the customers. The waiter who covered our table was excellent. The ambiance of Salty's is pretty run down and the environmental services people must have had the day off because the Mens bathroom was disgusting. I have been to brunch at Salty's for the last 3 Sundays in a row and I can say the food is consistently good, the greeters are consistently poor, the waiters are always great, and the place is poorly maintained. I probably won't be back because at $90 a person, I expect a pleasant interaction, clean restrooms, and not to have bugs share my meal. It's a shame because I always enjoyed the place in the past, that is why I kept trying to improve my experience, unfortunately it just got worse.
