Good food, good service, view was spectacular. Does not matter what the weather its always beautiful.
Will definitely return hopefully with my sisters again. Thanks for a great lunch!
Cioppino was amazing. What a great experience. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Fabulous on every level
Birthday celebration for daughter-in-law & my bride. Salty’s ALWAYS does celebrations right. Food was amazing as was service.
We were traveling to Portland just after my birthday, and I was looking forward to a seafood dinner. I wanted something that would please everyone plus accommodate my son, who is allergic to gluten, dairy, and egg. Salty's looked great, but I wasn't overly excited about the prices, then I saw they have a brunch buffet, with bottomless mimosas no less! My son are crab and more crab, fit less than what a crab dinner would have cost. Everybody was very happy with the food and service. With it being so popular, it was a tad noisy and crowded, but that happens. The views are excellent, and they accommodated or last minute request for a downstairs table (My mother-in-law and I need to hold the rail and didn't think that or hands would beer full of food!). A wonderful experience!
Beautiful view of the river and great service. The brunch was fabulous with lots of choices.
Wonderful experience. It was the perfect “special” place to go to celebrate an 80th birthday!
Great customer service and great food quality. The view was also great
Always a hit at Saltys Brunch Buffet. We’ve become regulars and so addicted to the fresh crab legs, oysters on the half shell, prime rib, the hot entrees, build your own crepes and what’s not to love about the chocolate fountain!
Food was good. Dinner menu was small for what I was expecting. Go to brunch on the weekends it’s a better deal for what you pay. The service is fantastic and view is great.
Even with reservations for two, the table was in the corner and one chair backed up to the aisle. It was very noisy and my partner uses a cane and there was a heavy swinging door to our eating area. This made it very difficult to get to and from the table to the buffet. The food was very good but we hurried through our meal due to the noise and walking traffic continually bumping the back of our chair.
awesome food..... awesome services....incredible view...
Wonderful experience and great food. We went for our anniversary and they treated us very well! They host amazing jazz on Fridays.
What a nice place to eat for our anniversary great views
Expensive, but you are sitting mere feet from and above the beautiful Columbia River and marina. Top-notch service and food, and I was 1000% satisfied with my 2hrs at Salty's. I had the Steelhead, and it was perfectly prepared, healthy and scrumptious. If I'm ever an hour or so from Salty's, I'll wind up back here for dinner or lunch!
Every time we visit Portland, we stop at Salty’s for dinner. This time we brought two friends who enjoyed Salty’s as much a we do. Wonderful dinner, wonderful ambiance, and wonderful service.
We love celebrating birthdays and other special occasions with Sunday brunch at Salty's! The staff is outstanding, from the people who park your car to the ones at the front desk, to your server -- friendly, helpful and very welcoming! The variety of foods is wonderful and very tasty, the view can't be beat, and they never rush you. We've recommended it to many friends.
I had been to your restaurant on a couple of occasions with great experiences. I excitedly brought a friend of mine on her first trip to Portland and was incredibly embarrassed and disappointed. Despite my advance reservations and request for view , I was given a table near bathroom and kitchen. Service was horrible. It was 30 minute gaps between any interaction with server and it was in passing. He complained about how crowded restaurant was. Dinner took 90 minutes and water was only refilled when we left. Our bread was cold and tough. We ordered scallops and sweet potato gnocchi special which was overcooked and cold. My meal was disgusting but I didn’t want to make scene in front of my friend. I am sad that of all of the great dining experiences which I could’ve chosen that I spent a lot of money for one of the worst dining experiences that I’ve experienced and that I brought friend to this place.
They went out of their way to make this an excellent experience. The food was amazing.
Great birthday dinner - food is always top notch and the views outstanding!
The prices were extremely high for what you received! Yes, it's a nice view, but you sure pay for it!
Great service, but brunch buffet just didn’t seem as good as the first time I went a year or two ago. I don’t know, maybe my expectations were just higher this time.
Service was the best we’ve experienced in a long time! The value is good if you eat lots of prime rib and seafood. Mimosas are excellent and our server ensured our glass was never empty.
Extraordinary quality -- miles ahead of standard buffet fare.
Can't complain about the food, they didn't had lobster made when we were there, bummer. Overall the place was great.
Great meal, a bit pricy but you just pay a little more to be in the water. The service was outstanding. We had a server named John I believe and when I go back I’m gonna request he be our waiter. Foods delicious and it should be for the price. Probably not a place for young kids however.
Delicious food. Excellent service.
Disappointed as I have been here before. Slow service and very long wait for food. And the food just average.
Excellent as always. Terrific service. Great food. Will always go back when I’m in town.
I was expecting an experience similar to Salty's in West Seattle but was unfortunately disappointed. The view was very nice but the restaurant was dated and the menu not nearly as extensive as in Seattle.
Salty's is an upscale restaurant on the Columbia River. The Halibut was wonderful. As was the appy of Calamari! Good wine and beer selection as well. We learned that Monday is "Crabby Monday", many person's were dining on crab and it looks great. If you have guests try and reserve a window table, although they situate the tables to give best view to most in the place.
We had a wonderful time at Salty's on the Columbia recently. Our dinner was delicious. Excellent Dungeness crab!
Great meal and great service! We’ve been there twice in less than a month!!!
This was my second trip to Salty's on the Columbia. It was wonderful. The selection of delicious foods was terrific as was the first time. I'm eating low carb for the time being and found plenty of options that were delicious, satisfying, and low carb. I made an exception for the bottomless mimosas which were great. Thank you for adding something special to my trip to visit my kids!
We thoroughly enjoyed everything at Salty's with the exception of the noise level. Tables close (naturally) and neighbors were very loud.
Great food, great service, a little pricey but overall great
Ezra our waiter was amazing. Very attentive, personable and professional. He made it very comfortable and relaxing. Experience for my daughters was amazing. I go there a few times a year and he was probably my fav server out of them all. I’ll be back again before I move out of country. Thank you
Great food, good service, a bit spendy but worth it. Huge brunch selection. Great view! Dining areas are very loud with people talking. Our reservation was for 11:15 am on a Saturday but we weren't seated until 11:50 am.
We brought out of town company and we enjoyed our time there!
So good. The snow crab and clam chowder was my favorite
