Upon arrival to the restaurant. The staff made us feel as though we were the only customer in the restaurant! Our seat was the best in the whole restaurant and our waiter treated us to the most memorably meal we have ever had! The food was melt in your mouth delicious and my Future Wife said Yes!! Salty’s made the whole experience top notch so thank you so very much!! Erik & Lisa

Go for the specials. Skip the burgers! The chowder was a bit salty for my taste. Salads were very good.

Said it was a special occasion on the reservation and asked for the best table over 2 months in advance. Got a decent table and nothing was super special about the expirence. Our waiter was attentive, but creepy. And the food was amazing - but far too rich to consume the whole thing.

Had anticipated a much more memorable expirence from such a highly rated restaurant. Will go back, but for a more casual expirence - not for a special occasion.

We thought the meal was delicious but my husband and I both got sick afterwards. It was the only meal we shared. Thankfully, our kids didnt have any of our entrees we shared so they were spared.

We visited Salty's last Saturday and booked for lunch at 1.00pm. When we got there we were informed that it was Brunch menu only and it was a buffet, 2 things I don't normally like. We tried it with the kids and it was sensational. They had everything you would expect on an A` la carte breakfast menu, plus a salad bar, flat breads, seafood and a hot carvery, not to mention the fabulous array of deserts. Well worth the money spent, my children ate their fill of crab. We will return again soon.

The Saturday morning brunch was excellent. The oysters were delicious and the clams and mussels fresh and awesome. I also loved the freshly prepared omelets. The deserts were plentiful and the chocolate ones were the best. Service was good and waiter friendly and kept my coffee cup full. The price is a bit high but the family and I will probably return next holiday season for visit.

We were there for our anniversary, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive, my only complaint is that after they cleared the plates from our table we waited 20 min for our bill, but it was understandable because it was packed that night. The food was amazing as usual, and complimentary valet is always a plus, and the free cake because of our anniversary is great! We will be returning next year!

While so many trendy restaurants come and go, Salty's is one of the rare establishments that thrive over many decades, by simply doing everything right. The food is creative, without being weird, the portions are generous, everything is prepared with care and expertise, and the entire staff are well-trained, friendly and attentive. The prices are quite high, though. A dinner with a cocktail, a glass of wine, and dessert was just under $100. At least the valet parking is free (minus the tip).

This is one of the true Seattle signature restaurants, where out-of-town guests will have a memorable experience, and locals will feel like they've visited old friends.

I have been mainly to Salty's with business contacts and decided to go for my daughter's birthday. We got an excellent table, had the chance to experience the new menu and the service was stellar. Definitely the best birthday dinner we had as a family.

We recently got reservations through Open Table for New Year's Day. Being a Monday we didn't know that this would be a brunch, which was outstanding. We arrived early, but didn't get seated till our reservation time @ 1:30, because place was packed. They stop serving on that day at 2:00, but they leave an hour and 1/2 to eat so we were not rushed.
Upon being sat, we were taken to the best seat in the house, right by the window and view of downtown Seattle.
The choices of food was almost overwhelming, but definitely great choices. We are fans of oysters, and they did run low towards the end, but at least we got some. The choices were from breakfast choices to main courses to include salmon and crab. Definitely leave room for dessert and have some very tasty choices. We finished off the meal with a cappuccino and left very satisfied. The service staff were great and very helpful.

Have noticed a decline in food quality for the brunch at both Redondo and Alki locations. Ham and prime rib were both dry, bacon was greasy and not crisp. Brunch not worth the price any longer unless you partake of the crab legs.

We frequent Salty's on Alki with our friends the same time every year and were once again happy with our decision. We received excellent service, even though we were probably their last reservation of the evening. They didn't rush us and acted as though we had all the time in the world. Nothing is better than the view, and the food was excellent as usual.

Great views and good buffet weekend brunch, but we’ve been here a few times and both service and food quality really varies. At their premium prices Salty’s needs to pay more attention to the details. But a fun experience overall and worth the occasional splurge.

Everything was wonderful! Our only difficulty was in hearing one another as the table next to us was quite loud - having a great time but we are all in mid-70's and found it challenging to hear across our table! We were one table away f on corner w/lots of glass -- we definitely lived the great view! Food and server were awesome! It was truly a wonderful day and evening in spite of noise! Can't really "complain" about others having a good time during holidays!!! 😃

Meeting a long-time friend for lunch and had requested a window table, which I know cannot be promised. But we not only got a window table, it was THE corner table for 2 and wonderful for a friends catch-up conversation. Thank you! Service and food was superb!
