Met a friend for Sunday brunch which was very high quality. We had a great view of the city. Awesome service, never felt rushed to turn the table over.
Very nice spread!! Loved the service and the view!!
Food choices are excellent, staff is exceptional, view is amazing. I have a rating of 3 because the dessert table needs to be improved. The dessert choices are numerous their quality of flavor and texture is lacking. An example is the chocolate from the chocolate fountain should remain soft. The chocolate hardens quickly once the fruit/sweet item is covered in chocolate. I'm glad I tried the buffet once.
You can enjoy your birthday cake, it is very good, not too sweet and delicious. We order the oysters, halibut and chicken. I like them too much.
Birthday for our Daughter... She was there with her husband and our 2 young grandchildren 2& 5.... I felt comfortable with our grandchildren there, no dirty looks from people when the 2 year old got a little vocal, so I feel that the brunch Buffet is perfect for families... We will be back!
We "discovered" Salty's brunch around 7 months ago. Since then, we've been probably 10 times. It's ridiculously good. We bring almost all guests there. Love that they have snow crab in addition to dungeness. The oysters are fantastic. There really isn't a single bad thing on offer, and the whole experience is better (if not more varied) than most Vegas buffets. It's also *really* expensive, and becomes even more-so on Sundays. The pacing of when you get your table even with a reservation isn't quite dialed in either. But the service and overall quality are fantastic, so at least what you are definitely getting what you paid for.
Excellent service by Mara, wonderful food, and a beautiful view!
Very good food and delicious taste.
We really enjoyed lots of sea food.
Food was just okay. Chowder was fine but I’ve had better. Service and view were very good.
The best restaurant by far. Very friendly staff delicious food. Outstanding as always.
Outstanding. Highly recommend. The staff amazing, the food delicious and the view is superb!
Food is wonderful and the view is breath taking.
One of Seattle's best spots for dinner and or celebrations.
John F. Is stellar...
Our server, David, was the best!!
Our server alex was wonderful. You really can't beat the view. it was a perfect date night spot! A must see in Seattle for sure !
Great place, awesome view, wonderful food!
Our evening was absolutely fabulous and our waiter Luis made the evening so much fun!
We will be recommending Salty's to all of our friends and family!
The brunch was an obscene amount of food. I am not proud to admit how much I ate. You could feed a small town in rural USA with the amount of food I ate, but at a much higher quality from what they would normally eat. I write this the day after my visit, I am still full from breakfast the previous day.
Best brunch buffet in my life. So worth to be there on Sunday morning.
Salty's was a very pleasant surprise. We decided to celebrate our anniversary during our visit to Seattle. We chose the restaurant for the view of the city and had somewhat low expectations for everything else since usually everything suffers when the view is great! We could not have been more wrong and it really was a lovely evening. The service is excellent and attentive. We told them ahead of time it was our anniversary but weren't expecting anything beyond a nice table with a good view. However, we found our table strewn with rose petals, a card and then they gave us a piece of cake at the end of our meal! The food itself was very good, especially the steelhead trout, which we had never had before. It was very tasty and beautifully presented. We always share and they were kind enough to divide the meal before they brought it to the table which was so nice. It is an intimate and subdued atmosphere which we very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend the restaurant.
Much finer dining than I expected, but in the end, it was all worth it. Fantastic trio of seafood appetizer, scrumptious main course of halibut, with a flaming baked Alaskan desert finish that would be hard to beat.
Our server was Percy and he made our experience wonderful. He was efficient, pleasant and very helpful. He was personable without being intrusive to our conversation.
The food was excellent and well prepared.
We enjoyed our 40th class reunion very much and would come again.
Service, atmosphere and food were fantastic!
Beautiful and delicious buffet with great seafood options including crab legs, clams, oysters, salmon...plus prime rib, pasta, omelets, waffles, and an incredible assortment of desserts. Service was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time!
Amazing food. Amazing service. What a view!
Delicious food, great view of the Seattle skyline and the water and absolutely top notch service. Will definitely return.
Outstanding service from our waitress Chrissy...as always.
Excellent food and an amazing view of Seattle! Our server was knowledgeable about the dishes and had recommendations. The crab was delicious.
Yes, right now because that oyster special on Thursdays is impossible to resist.
Great view, menu is great though execution of the menu isn't always as good as hoped
Spent the weekend in Seattle , and we heard about salty's from google . made a reservation for two and headed to Alki beach. the place was awesome. the food, the service, the view. We will definitely go back.
Excellent food as usual and the service is improved since my last visit and very happy with everything overall!
It might be time for a refresh of Salty's. The buffet is okay, but not worth the $60-$70 price tag per person. The view is the highlight, but other areas could use some improvement. Our chowder and eggs benedict were lukewarm, the chilled crab was soft and therefore hard to crack, and I noticed a cook on his phone in the buffet area. Also, there was dust on the section divider between our booth and the next section over. The place was packed, so it is possible that they have just been busy for so long that some small things have slipped through the cracks. In the end, our experience did not match what we paid for.
With the exception of dreadful service, the food was fantastically delectable, great view of the Seattle's scenic harbour, welcoming ambience. Would visit again if their service gets any better. Thanks.
My husband took me here for our anniversary and I loved every minute of it. We were greeted and our reservation easily found, waited in an area with fresh scones, tea, coffee, and light snacks with ample room and seating.
Our waiter Joseph was excellent at explaining everything and was just so up beat and peppy he inspired our day. He got us delightful drinks and we dug into the buffet which was delicious in all of its PNW splendor.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
This was the first time me and one of my friends went to Salty’s. We both heard so many amazing things about it, but we left wishing we’d gone somewhere else. The big thing here seemed to be seafood for brunch - most other food items available seemed predictable and uninspired. The decor and atmosphere reminded me of a 1970s diner. It was disappointing that only the buffet was available - there weren’t any entrees available to order separately. The mimosas were just okay, not excellent. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. I assume this has something to do with the amount of people eating at one time. I am not sure what got this place awards for their brunch - it left much to be desired, especially at this price point.
Salty’s was recommended by a friend since we were from out of town and wanting a delicious crab dinner. We were aware that this restaurant was upper scale which was totally okay. We told our server right away what we were wanting and asked for recommendations, which we took their advice but we decided to split a king crab leg so we could try a few other things. I asked if it would be enough to share and we got an “um I guess so” and after that, the service declined a lot as The server realized our check wasn’t going to be as big as anticipated. For being a fine dining establishment, I would expect great service no matter what was being ordered.
Bday great service!
Service was slow, food was good, prices are ridiculously high.
Amazing! My husband and I have been multiple times. Their Sunday Brunch buffet is so good! We have also been for our anniversary dinner and it was such a great experience!
