Valentine's Day was very busy but we had a great waiter who understood the value we were expecting
Had reservations for 8 pm waited 20 min at the bar until we decided to stop waiting for our table and just ordered dinner at the bar.
Crab cakes were a let down. Everything else was great.
Considering it was Valentines Day dinner the service was very good and the food was excellent!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍!!!!!!!!!!
Warm Regards,
The Sawhill’s
Amazing service! Sarah & Sarah awesome team members. Food was very good too and that view - WOW
Our waiter Nash was very friendly and enjoyable! Had a great time.
All I can say is THE BEST lil pricey but way WORTH it!!!! Trust me couldn’t have gotten any better the perfect place for a elegant date night and dinner !!! Stafff was really nice and really knowledgeable of the menu I was speechless!!! On how great this is definitely coming back
Birthday celebration so they had balloons at the table and a birthday card signed by the staff. In addition, one member of the group is a celiac and Salty’s had a chef come to our table and lead her through the buffet identifying the gluten free options. They also cooked a special version of one of the dishes for her. The top off of the meal was the two harbor seals who swam by flowed shortly by a whale! Chris, the General Manager said that in his 25 years there he had never seen one so close.
We had the best waiter ever; his name is Patrick. Given the snow situation I think they did an amazing job. At the same time the Dungeness crab had been frozen and the prime rib was tough Everything else was excellent.
Outstanding Brunch. The selection is wonderful and everything was extremely fresh. I highly recommend Salty's Alki for Brunch. The assortment of food hands down makes it the best brunch I have ever experienced. We also had very good service, our waiter was very attentive.
Salty’s is a great iconic spot to give visitors to Seattle a wonderful view of the skyline. The view makes up for otherwise mediocre food. It’s not that the dishes are bad. You might even call them good. It’s just not the kind of food where you leave thinking about getting back for more. The view on the on the other hand... Well the view is worth tolerating what’s far from the best meal in Seattle for what could be arguably one of the best views.
The value of the clam special was excellent. In spite of a very quiet evening, service seemed slow.
The clams were very fresh and tasty, the broth not very interesting with slices of carrot & celery? How about a bit of fresh herbs or some seasoning? A little white wine might also have brought more interest to the taste.
Thank you.
Mac and cheese was not good
Prime Rib was terrible, all seafood we had was good. Prime Rib back in April of 2018 was terrible to not sure why. Other than that service was excellent, ambiance etc all fine thanks
Good brunch buffet. Has nice options for everyone. Drink menu is great.
Service was excellent. Chrissy, our server, was really nice and funny. The buffet wasn’t large but quality was excellent. It’s quite pricey but not so bad for a special occasion.
Adam was fabulous - he was attentive, gracious and friendly. Best brunch I've ever had without endless mimosas! Lol
It is the best seafood buffet in Seattle the service is amazing and it's a true experience.
Best seafood chowder we’ve ever had! The salmon was delicious and so were the prawns.
A treat as always, amazing food and impeccable service. Haven't found a better brunch anywhere.
It was my first time and never regret my visit to the place. A friend recommended it to me when I had guests who came into the conference for a visit. I was thrilled by the ambiance of the place. I plan to take this very friend who recommended the place for me to say a "thank you" to her. I will surely visit again!
I made a reservation for my husband's birthday and they surprised him with balloons on the table and a signed card from the staff and of course complimentary cake! They really made him feel special.
Perfect for special occasions. Pricey, but great food and service.
Best view of Seattle waterfront.
Loved that place since 1967. Different name then, operated by Ivars.
Best dining experience we have had in years! Friendly staff, great food! The view at nite of Seattle and the waterfront con't be beat!
Great waitress!
As always Salty’s provides spectacular views, award winning dishes, and excellent service at a reasonable price. One of my favorite restaurants.
I recommend this well priced super view location to all my Airbnb guests. Why? Consistently outstanding hospitality and service and ambiance and NW cuisine!
On a sunny day into evening see the sun set onto the City across the harbor. Heaven on earth indeed!
Enjoyable lunch with a friend on a week day. A little loud when filled up.
Minor recommendation: music selection could be better to enhance atmosphere...was like a 80’s pop rock (which I like), however, some hip contemporary jazz or light jazz would be better in my opinion.
Not impressed with this place for brunch it’s expensive and the food was cold. Lobster shop in Tacoma is way better and half the price for brunch. The only good thing was the waiter, he was very attentive.
I would recommend with hesitation. The service was outstanding as was the view. The restaurant seemed dirty inside though. The glasses on our table were covered in caked-on crumbs from the dishwasher. We sent them back and asked for new ones. Some of the plates at the buffet line were also dirty. I was most concerned that some of the ingredients at the buffet were left uncovered and on the floor behind the main table where the food was being prepared. I.e. the crepe/waffle station had an open vat of blueberry compote sitting on the floor behind the table with no plastic wrap over it. There were also dirty rags on the floor near it. I lost my appetite when I saw that. If I were managing this area of the restaurant I would also ask my staff to avoid pulling the pre-made crepes out of a bag under the table in front of the customers. It made me wonder what was fresh at that point. Hate to complain but at $69.99 per person for brunch this was not worth our money or time.
I found that some of the food was not hot, it was warm and then all of the plates were very cold so the food that was to be warm was cold by the time I sat down to eat it.
I think that you should have warm plates for the hot items and cold plates for the salads & desserts.
The price is pretty high.
Great view, diverse menu, valuable service, unique Seattle restaurant
Great view, food and staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our date night but its definitely expensive!
Amazing view with some great food
Excellent service, great food and an awesome view.
We loved our Dinner at Salty's celebrating our Sister's 70th Birthday. The food was incredible! Our Service was good but a little slow. Perhaps because we were a party of 9 our Server was a little overwhelmed. He didn't read us exactly right, as we were ready for a pace that moved forward steadily. But, we had a Great time overall, and the service was good enough. He forgot our Cake that was brought in, and also we asked to add the 20% gratuity which caused a flurry at the end, but we left happy.
Always go when in Seattle. The view is one of the best in the world at night. In there with HK SF and NY just a little smaller.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Salty's. Our server and the chef were wonderful and we were pleased with the food, the service and the atmosphere.
Our server was attentive and the food was delish!!
We came in for our 6th wedding anniversary dinner. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff was thoughtful in sprinkling petals on our table and the dessert was such a nice, welcoming touch. Bella, our server was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.
