The food was so good! I ordered the beet salad which had such a balance of crunchy, sweetness and tangyness. As an entree I had the hanger steak. It was so tender and seasoned perfectly!
As for the hospitality Julissa was one of the sweetest servers. She was always attentive to our needs and made sure we were well taken care of.
This was the first time our food took so long to get to us. The waiter was super sweet but it just took a really long time to get our main course.
Awesome! Great food and awesome views! We had the best table in the house. Anything you order is gonna be tasty!
Delicious seafood and great service. Can’t wait to come back!
We always have great service and amazing food at Salty's at Redondo Beach. It is a gem of a restaurant, hidden on the beach. We love to go here for special occasions or just a random weeknight. I love this place!
My reservation was at sunset and the view over Puget Sound toward the Olympic peninsula is outstanding. It was a special restaurant week 3-course menu. The appetizer of sausage in calamari tubes was excellent. The fish and pasta dish was a typical though very well prepared presentation. The dessert options would appeal to most but I am not a fan of raspberry or strawberry so had to go with a nice rich chocolate ice cream prepared locally. My server was very attentive even though I was a lone diner. (I always wonder if restaurants dislike when just one person takes up a table that could have 2-4 diners.)
They have a great location, when I arrived early (5:50) for my 6:15 reservation I was told I had to be done by 6:45 because they had another reservation at that table. Not a good start. Seattle Restaurant week was going so I ordered quickly and had the chowder, steelhead, and mousse cake. The chowder was extremely bland not worth eating, the steelhead was good but the fettuccine was bland, and After two bites of the mousse cake I stop eating it. I am a dessert junkie and have never not finished a dessert. This was a first for me.
Their location is awesome, their wait staff was very friendly but my server was very inattentive. I got the bill at 7:00pm due to waiting on approximately 10 minutes for each course to come out. Not a place I could recommend to locals or visitors.
Carla and I had a special occasion to celebrate my deceased wife and Carla's best friend. I had a special gift for Carla and Salty's was a great place to celebrate Our Judi. Taylor was a great server and took care of all of our needs and the food was incredible. No one could go home hungry after attending the Sunday Brunch.
This review is based solely on the Sunday brunch:
The service I received was great. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. Food was often cold and the seafood section was bland. They ran out of quite a bit of things during the buffet and you’d have to wait around for someone to bring more. I can typically eat an abundance of crab and oysters, but theirs were so bad, I couldn’t stomach much. All in all, the hostess and waiters were sweet, but would not recommend for their buffet.
Birthday celebration they decorated the table presented us with a beautiful card and food was excellent. Brad our server was outstanding!!
We've been going to Salty's for years for special occasions but the last three times we've been there, only once did we enjoy the food. The quality of the food has gone down whille the prices stay high. The waitstaff appeared to be too busy - normally the waitstaff would come around with pepper and sherry for the chowder, this time they forgot. Also, the time between seating and order taking was long. An overall very disappointing experience.
We were there to celebrate my birthday. Salty's made it one special night for me. Our table was set up with a birthday card and confetti for me. The food appetizers were amazing but the main dinner was the best ever. Everyone was so pleased with what they ordered. My special desert from Salty's was very tasty and we also ordered a creme brûlée which was so good. The waiter/waite staff was awesome. Took really good care of us.
Thank you Salty's for making my birthday a very special night for me!
We had a nice long lingering lunch, which was fine for this situation ( 2 old friends catching up). However, we were seated for an hour before our lunch was served, and we waited a long time after that to order desert. The place was not busy at all. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly but we did wait a very long time to be served. I ordered a crab salad which came to $16.50 and it was simply lettuce, finely grated Parmesan, croutons and 1 ounce of crab. Too expensive for the ingredients. Great view and nice wine selection.
I like this Salty's as well as the one near PDX airport. The Redondo location is great to go to in the summer when you can sit outside. I will come here if I have to "kill" time before dropping people off at SeaTac.
Superb food, easy parking and friendly staff. My favorite seafood restaurant in Seattle, but like all the good ones it is very expensive.
Food and service was great! We can always count on Salty’s for a good dining experience and it has become our go to for special occasions since we know they are consistent.
Although the live music was nice, it made dinner conversation a challenge. The music was too loud in the dining area.
Excellent service. Our waiter was very detailed in explaining the menu and was very accommodating when my wife asked a lot questions. The food was extraordinary as well.
When we arrived, the lady at the desk was in the phone and didn’t make eye contact with us or acknowledge that we existed. After a long wait and other guests had arrived and were being made to wait, another server came up and seated us. There were only a few people in the place. I asked for a different table than the funny little one that we were directed to a got the response: “I don’t know what she has planned for those” and we were seated at that funny little table. The chowder was fantastic! The rest of our meal was not up to the standard we expected with the outrageously high prices.
First off, how would anyone give Salty's at Redondo Beach anything less than 5 stars. The food is always on point and the service is hands down awesome. The service is what really make eating at this place the best experience. Always friendly, always available, amazing !!!
This is a very nice restaurant with an excellent location - right on the water. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. Happy hour is worth checking out.
This place is always amazing for food and service. It’s one of those special occasion places for us and we always love it.
Great value for a buffet and the food was delicious.
My go to for seafood
I haven't been here for dinner in years and it was a perfect location to take family visiting Washington for the first time. Our server was so attentive and answered all our numerous questions. We couldn't have asked for a better dinner experience.
Very busy that night. Service was a little slow and that is understandable with a full house. Appetizer was sized up a little for the long wait. Missed items from our order, was not placed with kitchen. Service was taking too long to come by so skipped dessert. This is the first time we have been disappointed with our service.
Food selection seemed a little sparse. Not sure if it is time of year or quality is being skimpy. We will try again on next special outing.
Outstanding staff and superb food! Just a great world-class experience!!
I always enjoy going to Salty's! I don't go often because it is a little expensive; however, it was my grandma's birthday and Sunday brunch is our favorite!
We went for the Sunday Brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was even better then we thought! beautiful day and beautiful views. The food was fantastic and lots of selections, of course we over ate but it just couldn't be helped. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite food as there were many but the Frozen blended Orange Mango Mimosa was heavenly. We will be going back soon for dinner and more Brunches and recommend you do the same.
The food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent!! We had a beautiful view.
Slow slow and food was not good at all. All plates were left uneaten.
I passed 15 empty unused clean tables and was brought to the back to sit in the corner of the restaurant unsure why the seating was like that I had to ask to be moved to a seat in the front area near the better view not my back facing the water
Thank you Brad for serving us on my birthday! I had a fabulous and relaxed time. I enjoyed the food, scenery, and staff! Thank you Redondo Team! I will be bringing my kids next time which means I will be coming back!
Staff was outstanding and super helpful/friendly. Food was good but overpriced. Fish and chips were not what I was expecting but not bad, just different. It was a nice dinner. Clam chowder was spectacular.
They brought a pretty little cake to our decorated table for my daughter’s birthday! Love it!
My sister and I love to meet up here every few months for the best ever crab melt. We also had a huckleberry lemon drop that was to die for! We appreciate their excellent service and letting us hang out for a few hours so we can catch up. The view is wonderful also!
Went for a 2 year celebration. They made it special.
Had to wait 30 minutes even when having a reservation . Food and service was goo
Great crab meal deal!!
We LOVE Salty's but unfortunately have had a few bad experiences lately. We went for dinner for our anniversary and it was "Crabby Monday" so maybe busier than usual. They were either understaffed or just weren't prepared properly for how busy they were. Waiters were RUNNING from table to table and clearly not able to spend any quality time with one table. After dinner we ordered dessert and waited 45 minutes for it. It was either a mistake in the kitchen or the waiter forgot to enter it. Regardless, when we tried to pay and leave without dessert a manager came over to offer to still get us dessert and waive the charge. Not really a great compensation for waiting that long. We were very disappointed in our visit.
Went there for their Crab promo and they looked a little overwhelmed like they didn't anticipate the crowd. I had been to this promo a couple times before and it was always good. This time however, my $11 cocktail tasted poorly, I wasn't asked whether I wanted my crab chilled or steamed, and service check ins were few and far between. Hopefully just a bad night for them, but when Im buying $100 + dinner I expect to be satisfied.
