Excellent meal & cocktails. We had the mixed greens salad with grilled shrimp and chicken tacos. Everything was so tasty and very creative dishes. We always get the salsa, guacamole and chips which are also excellent. The cocktails are consistently well balanced & perfect. Service was very good as well.

The food and service was outstanding! We ordered variety of plates that included the bread and butter plate, Birria tacos, the stuffed maduro, and rice and beans. Everything was fresh and flavorful!

This is my second time here. As hopeful as I was, the food was not to my taste. I didn’t finish either time. Made me sad! I so looked forward to a great meal. Service was great, was so loud even though the place was not busy my friend and I had trouble talking

The service is great but the food itself is overpriced. It’s decent food but it’s also nothing amazing. For the price i was expecting amazing. Good spot for drinks then split some chips and gauc though.

There was a group of 5 of us who went to dinner and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. The tortilla chips, guacamole, and salsa were the shining star in my opinion - super crunchy chips and well seasoned dips. Super casual, but great food.

Accidentally brought our dog thinking we could dine outdoors with him like many other Somerville restaurants. We were greeted by a sign at the door saying no pets. It’s listed nowhere on the website. After taking our dog home we were seated outside under a speaker that was blasting hardcore rap music the entire meal. Our two children learned a lot of new words.

This is not traditional Mexican. No fajitas. Not a lot of non meat options. They don’t have blenders so once the premade margaritas are gone, they’re gone.

Although we enjoyed some aspects of our experience, my rating for this place would be significantly higher if the service weren't unbearably slow. It was so sluggish that they ran out of the special my husband and I wanted to order before they even introduced themselves to our table (I wish I was exaggerating). On the bright side, they did accommodate us by switching our reservation from indoor seating to outdoor when I expressed my preference for sitting outside.

$28 for octopus that was horrible. Weird taste and the worst texture I have ever experienced. Couldn’t even eat it. Drinks were decent. Guac and chips were decent.

We had a horrible experience with the hostess - she was rude, and actually almost called me a liar to my face. We had a couple people drop out our party at the minute and thus we asked if we could be shifted outside since they were only seating tables of 4 outside. When I walked up to her she said ‘I already told your friend that we cannot seat 5 people outside. At which I point I let her know that we are now 4. Her comment “I’m not inclined to believe you anymore’???????!!!!” WTF I asked her if she’d like to see the texts from my friends - she just said no I can’t seat you out there. Btw there were several tables of four open at that moment. Anyway we decided that a place like that was not worth our money. We left but only after speaking to the manager Steve who also did nothing for us. I have enjoyed this place several times since they opened however I will never go back. There are so many other places within 1 block of this place. Don’t go here

We usually go to salted lime every month or so, It seems like most of the dishes were lacking salt, spice, or some kind of acidity. Overall we love the place but felt like we were missing that Mexican flare. He will totally come back and we love this place in the menu changes always seem to work

I used to love going and love the menu....but the last 2 times I have been, the menu seems to be more limited. Not sure if this is true - or if I just don't like the new options - or it may just be that it is viewed through a very fragmented selection on your phone from a QR code link. I will still go - but it is not a top choice any longer. BTW - the food was great. My paloma cocktail was just ok.

Had dinner reservations for 6 at 7 on a Friday night. It wasn’t crowded yet and we sat in a corner away from the bar area so that might have helped with the noise level. We started with drinks. The CUKEBOX BABY cocktail was very good although it needed a bit more vodka! CHILE WINGS, CRISPY DUCK LEG, PORTUGUESE OCTOPUS and ARTIC CEVICHE were all very creative and delicious. Our party of 6 shared the apps. They truly are “small plates”. Although we are not big eaters, we would have appreciated a bigger potion size. We also ordered our main entrees and I tried the STEAK TORTA which was really good! The TRES LECHES for dessert is a must. We will definitely be back! PS I didn’t review the detailed receipt and a 20% service charge was already added to the bill. I ended up giving another 20%, but that was my fault for not reviewing carefully😣

Hostess was very rude because we were unaware an infant counted as a member of the reservation. Entire place full of kids but we were told it was “unsafe” because it’s a bar. Food is amazing just very overpriced for the portions.

The taste of the food was very good, but the portions were small. Sadly, not worth what we paid for. Mys husband's Cuban sandwich had two small pieces of pork and my mahi dinner had the same, two very small pieces of fish.

This is one of our regulars - great latin based cuisine. Quality has slightly gone down - they charged us a buck for 'hot sauce' - for a taco that costs 8 bucks! Really cheapens the entire experience. Informed our regular waiter of the same. And if you're going to be that cheap - state on the menu you will charge extra for condiments.

We had not been to The Salted Lime in a couple years but were very happy to return. They kept some of their basic staple foods like to tacos but added some additional items which were great. It was nice to come back.

We recently discovered Salted Lime and it's quickly become one of our go-to places. The food choices are unique and extremely tasty. The service is remarkably friendly and attentive. Sebastian was our waiter yesterday and he was terrific. On top of that, the cocktails and vibe make it lots of fun to visit the Salted Lime. Outstanding experience and value for family, friends and casual business meals.

The birria tacos were excellent and I would most definitely go back again - and would recommend the Salted Lime! Drinks were delicious and not watered down like they are at so many places. The ambiance was a bit cafeteria-like - the music was loud and with the high ceilings it was almost impossible to hear our waiter. Would love to see more options on the menu - maybe a taco-combo? Also, the option for a paper menu would be nice as it was annoying to have to go back and open a new section on the on-line menu to look through all of the choices...Perhaps a description for the menu options?

Salted Lime is consistently good. Service is great and food is creative. I preferred the old menu over the new choices this time. I don't eat meat and there was only one shrimp dish and I did not see a fish or shrimp taco. The guacamole, salsa and chips are a must and excellent.
