The food here was outstanding! The tartar sauce with the fish and chips was out of this world. We are always blown away by the flavor of the food, from the oysters to risotto to lemon olive oil cake!

Our food was, as always, absolutely incredible. Drinks were phenomenal. And Justin was quite possibly one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of hanging out with. That dude deserves a giant raise, seriously. He had incredible energy and was so kind and helpful and attentive.

Our last visit to Salt Wood was very good; this time, not so much. I ordered the rock cod fish and chips. The batter was thick and doughy. I ended up digging out the fish to salvage my meal. My wife had the lobster and crab pasta. The dish was very spicy and dry. We ordered bread too and that turned out fine. It’s pretty sad when the bread basket was the best part of the meal.

We came in a few minutes before our reservation. Hostess took exceptionally long check us in on the computer and then told us she could seat us in about 2 minutes. There was only a few tables in use so why the wait. She then sits us in a far corner instead of the open table below. We sit there for 15 minutes or so and the only person that had came over was the person serving water. We watched as the people behind us was sat at the lower nicer table and served drinks and some kind of food before we finally walked out. We passed the hostess as we left and she just stared at us. Nothing to say.

Nice atmosphere, we came here to just have a small quick bite. The all fresh and grilled oysters are delicious. We had to order another round of the grilled Kimichi Oysters because those were delicious! We ordered fish tacos very good and their drinks were decent, it did take about 30 min to receive our drinks, there was only one bartender and it wasn't busy. I will definitely be coming back to eat dinner and watch the sunset.

Another great experience . Took another chance on the shrimp and waffles and they were fantastic this time. First time we tried a few months ago, they were a bit overcooked . But everything was very flavorful. I do miss their non-alcoholic juice drinks they used to serve. Very nice staff (hostess and waiters) who were very attentive. We’ll be back soon.
