    We visited yesterday.. Food was beautiful, staff were really friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great place to visit. What would stop us is the bar stools. I have a bad knee and couldn’t get comfortable on them. Tables and chairs would be of great value to an otherwise great restaurant…

    We turned up two hours early and were still offered a place even though the restaurant was busy, The food was amazing and we could not fault the service

    We had the Royal plateau which was totally amazing! The staff were very polite and attentive. Cannot fault it in anyway. Well done! 👏

    Eaten here many times and it's been faultless. However, one relatively minor gripe this time. My Hake was slightly overcooked, probably a minute, and hadn't been pin boned properly. Mentioned it to the waiter, who said he'd pass it on. 5 minutes later the Restaurant Manager came over, apologised profusely, and offered us 2 desserts on the house. The rest of the meal was perfect, as usual. Wonderful Prawn Cocktail, perfect Monkfish/sauce/vegetables. Excellent wine, perfect service.

    At the risk of repeating myself on a regular basis. Perfect. Tried the Express menu and great value with beautiful ingredients cooked with care and great presentation. Never fails and all the Team are lovely.

    A quieter time to dine here, but overall, as always, a delicious experience. I often come to Newcastle, purely for leisure and retail and this fabulous place is the first thing I book, after the hotel. The staff are always very welcoming and accomodating, I love it. Food is fabulous.
