Always good food and the beer is fantastic!
I've eaten here many times before and loved it but this last time was disappointing. I brought my family for brunch on the last day they were in town visiting, and we waited over an hour and a half for the food. The waitress said the kitchen was short staffed, but the wait was ridiculous and many tables who came in after us got their food before us. When the food finally did arrive, everything was cold. The brussel sprouts were under cooked, the eggs were overcooked, they messed up my mother's order and didn't bring the side of potatoes it was supposed to come with, one of her pieces of toast was burnt on the edges and not toasted at all in the center, the other piece was simply not toasted at all...Overall between the wait and all the mistakes and issues with the food the experience was extremely disappointing. We were also kind of shocked that given the unusually sub par experience they didn't offer any reparative measures. I wanted to say something but my family was too polite to complain. It was a bummer all around, usually the food and service here are stellar but this last time with my family in town everything was off.
We were here for our anniversary dinner. Steve was a fantastic and attentive server. Always a great atmosphere, good food, and a great variety of drinks.
Drive an hour to meet my grandparents here and I was well worth it. Both the vegan sandwiches were incredible! I would definitely go back :)
There are limited choices for entrees, but many options for sandwiches, salads, pizza, and other lighter fare. Everything that we had was very good - pork mac & cheese, sweet chicken legs and brussels sprouts.
Salt Springs Brewery is one of our best area restaurants. Ambience is classy and food is original and good. Love the Brussels sprouts and can't keep myself from ordering them every single time. If you are hoping for a quiet conversation and it's game night, however, this is probably not the place.
Unique setting. Was once a Methodist church. Still has the original stained glass windows. Food was reasonably priced & portions were fairly large. Beer was very good.
Dope locale, great taste combinations, above average drinks and desserts.
We usually love Salt...but there wasn’t enough staff to handle things so we were waiting for everything and over half of the beers we ordered they were out of!? It’s a brewery right!?
This is a fun dining venue inside a restored church. The food is good. The only issue is that, due to the acoustics it is very loud so be prepared.
It was our first time there. Everything was terrific including the food, drink, service, and atmosphere. We will be back.
Excellent service. Food was amazing! Thank you!
This was our fourth trip to Salt Springs Brewery this summer and we don’t even live in Saline. And this was the best yet! Our waiter, Keith, was awesome and our meals delicious. It was a bit noisy as everyone was sitting inside due to rain, but we got used to it. We will be back!
Beautiful stained glass windows. Great food and service. Truffle fries are the best!
Great pizza and great beer. The beet salad is always a fav.
Patio is great, kids enjoy moving around. The setting is unmatched in Saline during good weather.
the food was very good. The service was excellent. The prices were way too high for us. We will not go back because of that which is too bad because it’s delicious and convenient for us.
Love this place. So yummy. Every bite is delicious!
Would definitely recommend, the food was delish and the service phenomenal!!!
Waiter was prompt and friendly. They were busy, but it didn't stop them from providing great service and tasty food.
Took my mom here for her birthday. The service and the food were SOO good.
We were taken to a table for 6, even though we spoke to the hostess on the phone 2 hours before the reservation, and even updated the reservation to 7. This meant we were given a chair on the end of the table! Never enough room. Another larger table was available, but we were told it was reserved. A party of 5 did show up for that table though - it was a table for 8. Our 6 top would have worked for them and their 8 top would have worked for us. Instead we were left feeling like we were in the way - literally! Food and service were just fair after that point as well. NOT WORTH THE DRIVE
We got seated right away, had prompt and friendly service, the stained-glass windows were gorgeous. The food was AWESOME. Excellent pizza with flavors that were outstanding, plus a perfect crust. Perfect. Salad was creatively assembled with just the right dressing. I've already passed on the word to friends, Go to Salt Springs. I do suggest making a reservation. No waiting that way.
Place is a beautiful old church. Food was average. We had a veggie pizza and a salad. The salad was mostly spinach with very few toppings, I think it was $14. The pizza was kind of soggy and like a crust I'd make with flour and water at home. Maybe something else would have been better. Waiter was very attentive to our needs. My husband liked the beer.
This was my first time at Salt Springs Brewery. I am not a beer person so I ordered a Bellini. It was very good. I ordered the burger which was also very good. I went with some family members and everyone liked the food. I am looking forward to going back to try other menu items. Our server was great!
Food was great, but the wait for a table was 45” on a Wednesday night. There were 3 empty tables when we arrived at 7, but they were being held for 7:30 reservations. We were not allowed to take either of those tables because they were being held for trivia players. We were seated at 7:45, and the only way we got seated then was because I jumped on Open Table after we put our name in and made a reservation as well. Aside from the long wait, the food was fantastic!!
We came in right when doors opened on Sunday at 11:30a. Service was poor. Hostess NOT friendly. People who came in after us with more in their group - seated before us. Booth dirty. Smelled like old beer. Waited with only water for 1 hour to get our food. Coffee was horrible & was not offered a fix on that so stuck with water. Food was ok - nothing special. Will not return
One of our favorite spots to bring visitors too. Love the large open space and the friendly staff.
Very friendly service - thanks!
A regular spot we dine at as they have good food, good beer, and nice outside patio. Especially like that they have dinner specials so menu doesn't get boring.
I was thrilled they had some vegan options on their menu.
Food was nothing stellar. Pierogies which were on their signature dish list were overcooked, and dry. Mac and cheese was just mac and cheese (don't recall an option to add a protein to the dish). Fresh fish was not available until after 5:30 and we had 4:30 reservations so that was disappointing. Bill came to $80 with no beverages - we drank water which I thought was steep for the quality. One positive is you do get ample amounts - burger and Cuban sandwiches were huge and enough for two. Brussel sprout appetizer was the highlight. Cheese bread was just beer cheese on rye toast, could make that at home so save yourself that cost.
Service was good and the old church it's located in is super cool with the stained glass windows.
Wait person very knowledgeable about food and beers. Noisy inside but nice outside. Brussels sprouts app and beet salad were fantastic. Good bargain at happy hour. Never felt rushed. Can’t wait to come back.
My family took me for Father’s Day. Food was delicious.
A brunch worth the drive from Belleville with great beer, my favorite coffee, and a beautiful atmosphere.
This brewery is in a repurposed church building. Stained glass still intact. The beer they brew is quality. Their menu features a wealth of local farm to table style items and options. The ambiance is unique but the service was marginal and slow in spite of most of the tables being unoccupied.
Great Sunday Brunch or Lunch menu. Good handicap access when requested online.
Loved that I was able to make reservation on Open Table. Great service and great food and beer.
Enjoyed food and friendship at Salt Springs. Good food, great beer. Still a bit too loud in there, however. But it feels high-energy as a result!!
Busy, hard to get in, but we were lucky to get in last minute w open table. Enjoyed our evening.
