Come and experience one of Salt Spring Island's most popular restaurants. and the "centrepiece" of Ganges Village, the heart of our island. With indoor dining close to the cozy fireplace and seasonal outdoor patio tables surrounded by flowers, we are an island favourite. Our menu includes a wide variety of different dishes from West Coast comfort foods to daily specials that often include regional seafood and local lamb. Saturday breakfast and Sunday Brunch are weekend hits. We favour locally farmed, seasonal vegetables, craft cheeses, beer, wines, smoked tofu and wild cider.
Guests in our restored heritage hotel above, find us to be in perfect proximity to the famous Saturday market and the many local shops and galleries, in a Salt Spring adventure

I have ordered twice now recently off the specials sheet (braised pork belly with jicama slaw and black cod/puréed fava beans) and they have been so gooooood! I don’t usually comment on these forums but wanted to share how great it is. 👍

Quinoa bowl with roasted vegetables was very tasty and ample portion, enough to take home for dinner. Would order again.

We confirmed our reservation for 6 people on the patio at noon and were assured there was a space. When we arrived we were told there was no space on the patio because it was a busy day. They scrambled to pull together 3 tables on the patio in a very uncomfortable configuration for my husband, a double leg amputee, and myself awaiting hip replacement. the server had troubles passing things across the table because of the layout. When I make and confirm a reservation I don’t expect to be treated like they didn’t know I was coming.

A well known spot for excellent afternoon and evening fare, we equally enjoyed the breakfast brunch menu this weekend. Eggs of course are the basis of most of the offerings but there are good Vegan and GF choices as well. And the coffee was perfect!

A great place for two, four or ten! It's a nice contemporary room with an adjacent patio in an old-style Inn in the village. We had reservations for two, but friends were also there at about the same time, at a table for four, and others at a table for ten. The service was excellent. The food was a delicious brunch offering. We particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean omelette and the crab cake eggs Benedict! Looking forward to trying out more of the menu as summer and patio season approach!

Sunday Brunch has a good variety. One of my favorites is BLT with fries. Yummy. Hubby had chicken clubhouse and fries. He enjoyed. Always good comfoet food.
