    The crab cakes were Phenomenal! So much jumbo crab meat. The green salad was good. The seasonal veggies lacked seasoning but our waitress subbed them out. Hubby had fish of the day Piccati wild mushrooms & seasonal vegetables. Again the veggies lacked seasoning but the salad was great. This location was quite different from the Amelia Island location. It was ore casual.

    My server was very sweet and attentive. That was the highlight. I’ve been there the last few years and it has been great. Unfortunately, not my most recent trip. Food was bland. I had the fresh catch Mahi salsa verde- no flavor at all, sides of veg and mushrooms- nothing special at all. Overall really disappointed.

    Salmon, entrée was properly prepared and flavorful. Sautéed vegetables were satisfactory, side of mushrooms lacked flavor.

    Tried Salt for the first time since it opened. Had an excellent meal which was one of the specials that evening, Squid ink pasta with scallops. Super yummy!

    The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The bartenders knew what they were doing as well. Made a good drink.

    Came here to celebrate two birthdays. To start off with, we ordered a round of drinks, but we weren’t big fans of any of them except for the Sal de Mar. After we placed our order, we were informed that they were out of potatoes, but the fries that were offered instead tasted like MacDonald’s fries. The Chimuchurri, which was a $4 up charge, that we ordered with our steak was more like a rub, not a pesto. And when we told the staff that the chimichurri was not what we expected to say the least, and we clearly did not eat it, we were still charged for it on our bill. The restaurant itself was hot and uncomfortable. Our waitress spilled steak juice on me and while she apologized, she never brought the club soda she offered to help me clean it off my new outfit. For desert, they did not have the port I ordered, and when the waitress offered me a substitute drink, I thought surely this may be on the house considering how dinner has gone thus far, but alas, that was my mistake. No effort to right any of the aforementioned issues were made. Can’t say I’d really recommend it, all things considered, but their tomahawk steak was fantastic. And the chef that came and spoke to us at the end of dinner was also great!

    Two of the entrees were too salty, the crab cake sandwich was the best thing our table had. Service was mediocre. Won't go back, very expensive for the quality of the food.

    Inspiring food choices in a hotel restaurant. Attentive service and a wonderful place for a regular dinner or a special occasion. Local seafood options change regularly and are worth trying. I had the red snapper and it was prepared perfectly! Highly recommended.

    Upon being seated our server Kevin was very polite and energetic to take care of us explaining the specials and checking on us frequently. The food was spectacular and would highly recommend the red snapper and Cobia. We also found out by our server that locals get 20% off which made the experience even better!

    There was nothing special about any of the food we had. The salad seemed like a salad out of a bag, steak was overcooked, the people dining around us was a mixture of beach coverup and nice attire. The cocktails however were delicious and they had a lot of unique drinks. We will come back again and sit at the bar, probably not for dinner.

    Fairly expensive for the quality of the food. Started with Hummus which was okay. Had the crab cakes entre and the crab cakes were heavy with mayonnaise and shredded crab, not lump crab. One bite of the second crab cake entre and gave up. The second entre was a bowl of crab and corn bisque. The sauce was okay but little evidence of crab meat. Went there with high hopes but probably won't be back if you are looking for seafood better off just going to Grand Marlin.

    Everything was delicious. We started with the Mediterranean Dip sampler and pita bread. It was so good. The crazy feta was my favorite. I tried the crab cakes for my entree and they were cooked perfectly. The outside was crispy and the inside was out of this world. We also tried the goat cheese cheesecake and it looks like I found my new favorite dessert.

    The food was very good. The shrimp cocktail was deliciously old-school, but oh so good. We did the Mediterranean dip sampler - it was good, but just dips on a plate. We debated splitting a burger as they are supposedly on the larger size, but ended up having the charcuterie board. Very good, yes, but it’s a charcuterie board. As much as we loved our server, we also felt his continued “checking ins” to expedite us putting in an entree, soured the experience a bit. Good server, a bit too much at times. A good comparison for those who have dined on Pensacola Beach often - Grand Marlin is the better value for the money. More options and better price points. Overall a great new addition to the Hilton! Bon Appetite

    Salt is tucked away inside the Hilton hotel and is a gem with a great menu! We had the hummus appetizer and the fish and crab cakes for our entree. Everything tasted wonderful and was well done. Definitely better than the competition on the beach. We will be back.
