   Was not greeted by anyone when we walked in, and sat ourselves on the patio. Had to actually go find a bartender to come out and give us menus, and then within 15 mins we had a server attend to us. Food was pretty good, and had some different selections. Although the menu didn’t have a lot of options for dinner. The ambiance on the patio was nice, overlooking the patio. But, as far as service goes it was poor. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t return.

   End to end, this was an experience I hope to quickly forget. The food was uninspired and unrefined, and more importantly, the business model was confused which led to an unsatisfying experience. There is a pub in one side of the space, a cocktail lounge on the other side, and "smart casual" dining...somewhere in there. I was placed at a small, wobbly table in the center of the casual casual dining room, and it was explained that a booking issue with a couple large parties had me somewhere different than the seating on the side of the restaurant where Salt patrons normally are hosted. Noise and bustle were readily apparent in the big concrete-floored space, though I think you would always hear that throughout. The menu for the prix fixe (only menu available) was different online, so a couple features that drew me in were no longer on the menu. My opener was a forgettable bacon wrapped pineapple dish. Up next was the Korean cucumber salad, but don't be fooled like I was. Mostly arugula, with a handful of diced cucumbers, and very spicy. I was warned on the spice, but the dish lacked balance in general and was completely unlike other Asian cucumber salads that one might expect. Next came the glazed pork chops. My first round included perfectly smooth pomme purée, and overdone pork chops. I had to send them back to get something I could chew. The second attempt at the cook was much better, but the glaze was too sweet in general, and now the purée had red potato skins in it (?) and was lumped like mash on the plate rather than silky and smooth. Finally we made it to panna cotta dessert and this was actually good! The presentation was very nice with well manicured fruits atop a tropical gelee and a sprinkling of rock candy to mimic the salt theme. The creamy texture was perfection, made with real vanilla bean. Staff was pleasant and attentive, though maybe better suited to a different type of clientele than the prix fixe menu would suggest is the target.

   You are seated behind curtains cut off from all aspects of the establishment, very strange feeling. At 7pm on a Friday night only 1 other table of 4 were in the section called “Salt”. Only 4 selections for dinner, you receive an app, salad, entree and dessert for $40.00. Not impressed, will not return.

   This place can't decide what it wants to be. Salt aspires to be a gastropub with a prix fixe menu but it shares a space with a burger bar. The bar is as expected, noisy and there is no way to escape the noise or the view. My empanada was overcooked and inedible. Server apologized but no adjustment to the bill or even a offer to replace.

   Solid meal and highly recommend the wine pairings as suggested. Attentive service and a good blend of food choices in their limited menu.

   The tasting menu was amazing, and the suggested wine parings were perfect. This restaurant is an up and comer, and I'd strongly recommend you give it a try.

   We were looking forward to trying this restaurant in our neighborhood after its reboot. We had reservations and were seated in an empty dining area. We were the only people in the dining area for our entire meal. They had a party going in upper level and loud gatherings in bar area. Lots of noise from these parties and speakers and dining area partitioned by a curtain. We had their tasting menu with wine pairing. All the food was fantastic. Well prepared, fresh and flavorful. Wine pairing were excellent as well. We felt a bit rushed between courses. Service was pleasant and helpful. I sure hope the food will carry this place to success, as the atmosphere is searching for an identity. I plan to return.

   This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The server was nice, but was not trained or knowledgeable about the menu. Food was cold and tasted so bad I still had a nasty aftertaste even after brushing my teeth.

    What a disappointment! I had very high hopes but this place is awful. Avoid it like the plague. Server was totally clueless. Forgot most of our order and was completely inattentive. Appetizer took 25 minutes with no stop back during the wait. Then she forgot our bottle of wine which we discovered when our main course was delivered 5 minutes after our appetizer. Food was cold as was the atmosphere. Details matter when you are charging $30+ a plate! Paint the walls, put up some decorations, and train your wait staff. I want something in this space to succeed and I was pulling for this to be it. Salt could be a beautiful pageant queen of a restaurant but it has to learn how to walk, talk, and dress itself first. Zero stars!
