The Salt Kitchen & Bar located inside of Hotel LBI offers coastal-casual dining, featuring a bright open dining room with spectacular views of the Barnegat Bay. The dinner menu consists of local seafood, steaks, and chops.
*Reservations are highly recommended.
*Our phone lines are often busy during dinner service, however questions regarding dining may be answered after 3:00pm at 609-991-8001.
*10 max party size. *We do not accommodate split parties.
*Outside seating, in season, is available first come first serve with a reservation & non reservable.
*There will be a $5 per person cake cutting fee for any cakes brought in from outside the premises.
*Check-in is at the hostess stand by Salt Kitchen where a hostess will escort you to your table.

                                            I would highly recommend the fried calamari along with halibut filet mignon, and the special lobster tails.

                                            We had a great dinner at Salt, service was great, as was the food. My daughter has Celiac’s Disease, so a GF meal for her is a requirement when we dine out, but it was no problem at Salt, more than half of the entrees were GF and also delicious, she cleaned her plate. My wife had their sea bass special and I had the filet mignon, all delicious. Kid’s menu suited my sons just fine and drinks were nice. Decor was island-contemporary and a nice tribute to the island’s history. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly & attentive. Great dinner!

                                            If you’re looking for an experience, this is the spot! We were treated like royalty from start to finish, our server was absolutely amazing, super friendly, extremely helpful and great to chat with. The food was unbelievably delicious, we got the skate special, recommended by the server, it was like a rare delicacy and the pork chop, that was cooked to perfection. 100% recommend this place, definitely will be our new regular spot.

                                            An excellent overall experience. One of our favorites. The food was amazing. The Miso Black Cod melted in my mouth. My brother had the Wagu Beef Cheeks. He was amazed at the tenderness and the flavor. a definite WOW!! The manager, Casey, obviously knows what he is doing. Not only ours, but he frequently visited all of the tables and assisted the staff throughout the several hours that we were in the restaurant. A true gem. The service was incredible; from the hostess to the bussers to our waitress and the manager. This restaurant is a must for anyone living here or visiting.

                                            Food is always delicious in a beautiful atmosphere. The staff always brings a special desert for our anniversary which has become a yearly tradition for us on our anniversary to dine with Salt Grill.
