Pretty disappointed. We love the rooftop and ambiance which is why we are upstairs. The lettuce wedge barely had any dressing so we had to ask for more. My husband ordered the trout and he was given salmon which wasn’t even on the menu and it was a very small portion of fish and veggies. Not sure how salmon got mixed up for trout but my husband just let it go. Finally my coffee came out cold and when I was given a replacement, it was lukewarm. This restaurant needs to step it up. We love the restaurants surrounding SRP Park but if these meals don’t get better, it won’t last. This was our second visit for a sit down dinner and the first wasn’t any better unfortunately. Hope someone can work on this and make it better for all.
The menu was lacking and was not the same as what it shows online so the options available were not what I thought.
Wrndy and Stephanie were ABSOLUTELY amazing! Very helpful, super informative. Our food was delicious as well.
Great experience. Will be back soon.
Our waiter was great and the food was even better. I am a big meat eater and the steak I had here was one of the best for sure.
The food wasnt what I expected from the menu online. Roasted Oysters was out of stock before 8pm. Disappointed for my first time experience.
It was our first time here for my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint. We originally had reservations for the rooftop but due to the rain we were not able to sit up there. The host informed us of this immediately and allowed us to make the decision ourselves and also let us know that there was accommodations in the dining room for us. Once we were seated in the dining room our server Angela came over immediately and took our drink order. She was very efficient and answered all of our questions throughout the night. We also met the GM David who was very nice and welcoming for a patriots fan lol. In all seriousness David and Angela made our experience one for the books and we will definitely be returning in the near future!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner of steak and swordfish. Robert C was an excellent waiter and made sure we had a wonderful night out.
I love the team up on the roof top, they are very pleasant, the energy is amazing and customer service is OUTSTANDING!!!
We were seated in a table behind a tall wall and were forgotten for 25 minutes. After that they told us that the drinks would be courtesy of the house and it was not. Food was too pricey for the quantity and quality, although it was good food. Would not go back in the near future. The place is very nice though.
We ate on the roof top and such a beautiful view. We all had the swordfish and all agreed it was delicious and so was the rice that accompanied it.
It was beyond what I expected
Food was great
Great waitress and bartenders
Great host who escorted us on the elevator
I will definitely be returning.
Inviting roof top restaurant. Great Saturday brunch.
Online menu did not match restaurant menu. No description of food on menu. Thought I was ordering a chicken breast and received bone in chicken. Food was very flavorful but was not hot. It also took 48 mins to get an appetizer after ordering. The kitchen seemed very backed up even though there there were only a few patrons in the restaurant. The waitress did not check on drinks except to ask if I wanted another mixed drink.
Great experience! Food was amazing, waitress as well.
Loved the swordfish!
Menu was expensive and did not taste like it should be. Also, the bathrooms on the roof top were extremely dirty. When you’re lying top dollar at a restaurant like this you would expect the bathrooms to be clean.
Loved it! Great food and service and the rooftop view was absolutely amazing! A must to go place with your significant other. Very romantic.
The food was excellent and that staff was very friendly. The rooftop sitting area was a wonderful view.
The food was delicious, the servers were good, and the wine selection was great. However, it took about 45 minutes to get an appetizer and 45 extra minutes to get the meal. We liked the restaurant, but thought this was a long time to wait. Some friends commented this was an issue when they dined at Salt & Marrow. We may return, but will hesitate because of the slowness.
We only ordered appetizers we arrived at 7:45 we finally left around 9:30 and never recieved our order never going back there and they were not busy at all....
The restaurant itself is really nice. Went with my family after celebrating my sisters graduation considering it was early (11am) we weren’t able to enjoy the roof top. It’s only open for dinner. I’m not sure if the staff wasn’t prepared for a party of 11 considering Covid, but my dad and brother in law never received their food which were really easy breakfast/brunch items. They both ordered the southern breakfast. Two of my friends ordered the steak & potatoes and the steak was literally smaller than a sausage patty with a very large portion of potatoes. It was really a joke. Return those plates to the kitchen because that was just not acceptable. We were later informed the chef cooked the “wrong” steak. When time to close out most of the checks were incorrect. It took a while to get drinks. All in all i would that again for the roof top experience, but not for brunch.
We went on a couple’s dinner to celebrate my boyfriend’s new job. I chose Salt & Marrow for the view and the ambience and he loved every bit of it. We sat on the rooftop. There was a large birthday party there so it was a little noisy but we didn’t mind it all. They actually added more entertainment for us lol. The food and drinks were wonderful. We will definitely be going back again.
We actually went up to the Jackson’s Bluff area. The bar did not have all of the ingredients for the drinks that it had on the menu. There were no fans or misters to compensate for the heat. The server was lacking the hospitable attitude. The menu is limited and not very appealing. Overall, our experience was OK. We will try it again to give them another chance.
The fried green tomatoes were not done. The server took photos of the uncooked tomatoes! The cooks lost my ticket so I didn’t receive part of my order! The spinach dip was the BEST! I will only order drinks and spinach dip from there! The atmosphere is the main reason I’ll visit again!
The only issue I had when I arrived was that my reservation could not be found. The hosts found a table for me and honored the reservation.
This was my wife and my second visit to this fine establishment, but instead of an anniversary it was to celebrate a birthday. This time around we each had a fish craving so we went with the halibut for my lovely bride and I went with the Branzino. Of the two the halibut was the most flavorful and delicious. The Branzino, however, was also fantastic. This was my first time with a whole fish on my plate. I did substitute the sides with mashed potatoes and collards which made the bed for the branzino.
We were very blessed to have Sarah as our server again and she was just as phenomenal as our last visit. We also had the privilege to meet the sous chef for Salt & Marrow, Keith. Keith represented the kitchen and Chef Dominic exceptionally well. My wife and I were very impressed.
We will definitely return.
Everything was delicious and the view was great.
Food, restaurant, and staff were wonderful. Only concern was uncomfortable chairs up on the balcony. Look forward to coming again.
It was a lovely experience
Salt & Marrow is our favorite restaurant because of the delicious food and great service. The rooftop dining is second to none.
Service and drinks were subpar. The craft cocktails were very watered down and service was slow during a not very busy time.
We waited over 15 minutes on a server to take our drink orders. We left and went to Frog Hollow, where service is always exceptional. Will never go back to Salt and Marrow. Menu was unimpressive as well.
The food was phenomenal! Very well prepared, beautiful presentation, and absolutely delicious! We were seated on the rooftop with a nice view of the river and sunset. Will definitely be going back.
Much better this time! Have been three weeks in a row!
The kangaroo was great but my wifes shrimp and grits were terrible. The "gravy" was basically damage juice with no other flavor. The entire dish lacked flavor that you look for in a southern dish.
Amazing service and view! Would 10/10 recommend for another date night!
After waiting over an hour and 45 minutes to get food, it was cold over salted and overall not worth the money.
