   Steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was friendly albeit a touch slow at times. A lot of noise from the bar area.

   Well I booked a room and paid for breakfast as I did the booking. I still had to pay for Breakfast. Prices to me for sides were Ridiculous!!! Side of bacon $9.00 for 2 slices? Side of "breakfast" potatoes $6.00 for a 1/2 cup?? $4.00 for coffee? $4.00 for juice?? I know prices have gone up but you have sky rocketed them!

   There was a lamb special with Dukkah that I had for an appetizer, and it was one of the greatest dishes I’ve ever had. I would have ordered that in an entrée portion if I could have! Grateful to have experienced that dish!

   We ate for Mother’s Day. And it was terrible. They had a set menu and they were out of almost everything. They only had four napkins in the whole restaurant and we were party of 6. So everyone was sharing napkins. Overall probably won’t go back.

   Omgg! This was a great restaurant. It was out first time eating at Salt & Marrow to celebrate Mother’s Day. The food was delicious and nice size portions. In addition, our server was so pleasant and fun. Definitely will go back 👍🏾 Christina Parrish:)

   I made the reservation for my son's and I for Mother's Day. I wanted my sons to experience 5 star dining. My reservation was for 7pm. But wasn't seated until 730. Upon seating we handed a Mother's Day meal, which wasn't advertised. When I asked my waiter about it, she informed me that many people walked out due to this. I decided to give it a chance, since it was already late and we probably couldn't get into another restaurant. When the food came out, it was unsatisfactory. The Mac and cheese was burnt and dry, we got different vegetables that was supposed to be served, the meat was either dry, overcooked, or burnt. We ate nothing. We ended up leaving there and eating McDonald's. The manager (Toyeshia Brown) came over to the table apologized and said the kitchen was getting ready to shut down. I was confused because they opened up at 5, and was closing and having problems already. She gave me her card told me to text her so we could come back and the next meal would be on them. I texted and called but no one returned my call nor text. If I knew this would have been the experience I would have just went to Brinkleys. I have been there multiple times and this has never happened. All I wanted to do is share this day with my sons and it was completely ruined. One of my sons is home from college and I wanted dinner with both since they're both home. And my little one was stoked about trying the kangaroo and ostrich.

   We went for Mother's Day dinner. We did not learn until arrival that there was a pre-selected Mother's Day menu and that the food would be served family style. The servings were also "pre-portioned," which meant that some of the offerings were extremely small. Our server was brand new and while she tried her best, she really did not know what she was doing much of the time. The fixed price was also a bit high for what we received. We won't be going back.

    We made this reservation and was unaware that we wouldn’t be able to order off the regular menu. The food was over cooked and over priced. The service was terrible because the restaurant was under staffed.

    It was a bit on the expensive side for what we received, they were short staffed as is everywhere, the food was great as in taste, low volume so we could talk amongst ourselves.

    We had a party of 5, while the server was very pleasant, I felt he was spread too thin. Our drinks took a very long time to come. Then when the meals came out, the sword fish was cold, the mushrooms were cold as was the potatoes and one of the steaks. In addition, my son in law ordered his steak medium rare, it came out very rare. He didn’t send his back because of the other meals that had to be reheated. On our side of the table, my husband and I had shrimp and grits and salmon and grits. While it was not cold it certainly wasn’t particularly warm. All in all a disappointing, expensive night.

    It would be beneficial if the restaurant offered valet the days of baseball games. The food was not the best, the cornish hen still had feathers on it indicating it was not cleaned properly. Our server was very slow paced.

    This place was absolutely amazing! I would say fine dining on a budget! You don’t have to spend much to enjoy this food! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly! Can’t wait to go back

    Salt + Marrow was great! It was my fiancé’s birthday, his first time going, and he enjoyed everything. The portion size, the quality, the cocktails, even our waitress was on point. The setting and service was great. It’s worth the money! This is my second time going there and I will go again.

    Food was good but the service was horrible. The only table being used in the restaurant and wait staff was invisible. Asked for cappuccino and espresso with dessert and was told that the only thing available was decaf coffee and that it would have to be made. So instead asked for whiskey. Waited 20 minutes then asked someone about our drinks and was told that someone would have to go to the rooftop bar to get the drinks. Finally received drinks and was able to finish the meal. Would not recommend to a friend due to horrible service.

    My boyfriend and I decided to try something new. We went on a Monday around 7. We get seated and the dining room is maybe 1/4 full. We sit for about 10 minutes before the hostess comes over and takes our drink orders. I’ve worked in fine dining for 10 years and I’ve never seen this. We ordered appetizers while waiting for the drinks, they came before the the drinks and we finished them before our drinks arrived. We waited about 30 minutes for drinks and when they hit the table they weren’t what we ordered. The hostess who was serving us was very sweet and you could tell she was trying her best. She gave us the drinks on the house, thankfully. We decided to not stay for a main course. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. My boyfriend and I are in our early twenties and I don’t know if no one wanted to take us because we are young and they didn’t think we would tip well? We wanted this restaurant to be cool because the potential is there, but needless to say we won’t be back.

    I had not been to the North Augusta area where the restaurant was located but it is very nice. The atmosphere is really high scale and the food is very good. I did experience an issue with a server who forgot to put our food in so they comped us our meal. Other than that, I highly recommend the spinach dip and swordfish.

    For 100$ for me and my wife it was okay my waiter convinced me the chef made everything with a purpose but he definitely over cooked my swordfish to have the texture of cooked chicken. we had a great time and a great waiter but I just feel like if they try so hard to have this menu you shouldn’t substitute things and trust them I misplaced my trust in the chef

    Everything was cooked to perfection!! The tomato salad was extremely different for me and I didn’t know what to expect in terms of appeal and taste!! It was a small dish, but fulfilling enough to hold me over until our main course. By the way, we had the Easter dinner special. Will definitely go again. There IS dress code which I didn’t remember seeing on the site, but we were dressed for the occasion with the exception of my wife having to remove her hat.

    I got up to use restroom and my husband was on his way outside to get car since it was raining. Turned back because he forgot his wallet. They stole my husbands wallet within seconds of forgetting it on the table. They table was being cleared and they wouldn’t even bother helping us. It was that fast. We were absolutely amazed.

    We went to salt +marrow for anniversary date. It was amazing! The customer service was on point. There is minimum intimacy seating. So be comfortable with people seating close by. The noise level is moderate. Butttttt the food oh my gosh is to die for. It’s so buttery!
