Great experience! Would visit again and again!
We were there for brunch. Food was tasty and great service. I would go back again for dinner some time.
Food was great, but two of four dishes were served cold; had to sen back. As a result, we didn't get to eat together; diminished experience.
Also, what's with the 3% for management. If that's covering credit card processing, it should be included in overhead, not shared with customers. Get that off the menu and website.
Disappointed...
We were seated by the door but everything else was great
Food was delicious! Service was great and it wasn’t too noisy.
This is the first time my experience wasn't that great. One of our halibut steaks was totally raw in the middle (not rare but raw). They forgot a wine order (happens, I know). Usually this place is worth the $. Just overall "eh" experience. I'll for sure go again as hopefully this was a one time bad day.
Top notch steak and seafood!!
This place can compete with any A list Seattle Restaurant. We're going to be new regulars going north to this place. Streets are clean.
Our favorite restaurant in Edmonds! Have never had a bad meal or bad service.
We had a wonderful brunch! The biscuits are to die for, and the eggs benedict was incredible. Oh, the coffee is amazing too! Can’t wait to try out the dinner menu some time. Service was outstanding!
My family and I visited Salt catering to my toddler! We can't wait to come back and try dinner.
Food and drinks were delicious. The steak is always perfectly cooked and the seafood was absolutely yummy! Great portions and quality for the price. The service is always great as well. This last time we had a server named Oscar who was exceptional!
I ate at Salt and Iron a couple of times of month pre-pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed their food. We had breakfast there a few days ago and were very disappointed. The quality of the meal had declined significantly as had the service. We haven't given up on Salt & Iron, but probably won't return until the pandemic is under control and the restaurant has sufficient time to back up to speed.
The S&I Bloody Mary is a delicious treat with the chicken fried chicken or chicken and grits!
Incredible food, so many different unique flavors in each dish.
The prix fixe meal, the service, and the experience were outstanding. We are looking to going back soon.
Our server Dana, was the best yet! He brought easy conversations and laughs all around.
Highly recommend. Great outdoor options. The food was lovely, service was on point and the downtown Edmonds is too cute.
Salt & Iron had been on my list of date night places for quite some time now, and I have to say, it was well worth the wait. My fiancée and I absolutely loved the food, the outdoor dining is very socially distanced with the perfect sized heaters for the table. We will definitely be back.
The food was amazing. Our server was really outstanding.
Great Restaurant! Our server was amazing!
We made a reservation for outside on a day that turned out to be a rainy wind storm. We were sat at a smaller table subject to the sideways rain. Our server made a point to move us without asking to a completely sheltered table with a personal heater. She was kind, warm and efficient. I would come back for the service alone. That being said, chicken fried chicken would also be a solid reason to return.
Fantastic experience!
Great place for brunch! The avocado toast is a treat, and the corned beef hash is tasty. Service is fairly quick and the environment is clean and pandemic safe. I've been here many times, including dinner. Give it a try if you're in the Downtown Edmonds area.
We went for brunch and ate al fresco. Service was great and the food was very good. I could go back there and just have their biscuits - the best biscuits I have ever eaten.
Our experience at salt and iron was wonderful. The food, service, and drinks were fantastic. It never disappoints! We will certainly be back soon.
I'm glad to see Salt and Iron return! Understandably a new chef from the before-COVID times but the food quality is still excellent. We especially loved the salads this time.
We were a bit bummed that desert had sold out by the time we ate but it's understandable given the circumstances, won't hold that against them at all and they let us know the situation early in dinner, which was a thoughtful gesture.
Was one of our favorite Seattle area restaurants pre covid and still is now.
This was our 2 + 2 day. 2 shots plus 2 weeks celebrated by dining indoors for the first time in over a year. It was the ultimate.
Outdoor dining was great and the service was wonderful!
Excellent service! We had a great time!
The food was really good, two of us got the surf n turf. I got the filet and my mom got the flat iron, both were very tasty, and the scallops were done perfectly. Our drinks were great - I got the ¿como se dice ? And we also had an Irish coffee. Dessert was good too. It all came out very quickly which is a plus ! Service was excellent- can’t wait to go back
Finding a place with outdoor dining and heaters is great! Finding it with excellent food is even better. We had their lamb and it was fabulous! The staff was very cordial and also efficient.
The server (Ryder) spoke to us every time we past the table. It was like he wanted us to leave. It was such an aggressive service. He also did not pack out our small plates.
The food was bland and without impact. It was too bad, I make a purpose to support small and local.
We won’t be returning.
The food was amazing and our server was really nice. Efficient, and she gave us a free dessert for our wedding anniversary. Salt and Iron is one of our favorite restaurants for sure.
excellent menu and delicious food and cocktails. Very noisy near the bar and a especially loud table
We went to Salt and Iron for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The only complaint is the limited menu but otherwise it was great! I had the lamb, which was super tender! My husband had a steak and the coconut creamed spinach. It was awesome! We ordered a dessert to share and they brought us each a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary! That was a very nice touch! With social distancing we had a quiet little corner to ourselves! It was very nice!
Another AWESOME dinner at Salt & Iron. We had a great selection of food - everyone enjoyed!
We chose this restaurant for my son’s 30th birthday. We enjoyed our cocktails, broccolini and calamari very much. Two of us had the moist and delicious chicken entree, one savored the sausage and bean dish, and two had the signature New York steak, shrimp and scallop entree. We were all very pleased with our choices, as well as the several desserts we tried. Terrific, memorable meal and ambiance.
Great Sunday Brunch! During Covid restrictions, we ate in their expanded outdoor seating. Very bright and comfortable, even in March, with individual 'bays' with their own heater. Very tasty meals! Looking forward to our next visit!
It was an enjoyable evening with a very accomodating server. Food was scrumptious.
Amazing steak!
Delicious food. Got lucky with weather for the outdoor dining as well.
