Great service, great food - very clean and good covid protocols in place! 10/10 recommend Salt & Iron!
Great food
While a bit high priced, the food was excellent. We also appreciated the barriers between tables and the adequate spacing. We have been very nervous about eating inside in restaurants, but we felt fine in this case. It was a very pleasant experience.
Great bar, friendly service, and unique menu options!
Clean, neat, minimalist decor. Fantastic food. Terrific customer service. The seafood pot, scallops w/ squid ink risotto, tartare & bone marrow were favorites and considered "one of the best meals ever" by this party!
Food was delicious and our server was patient and attentive.
Main seating area seemed noisy .
Our final seating was quieter but space seemed chilly .....possibly part of COVID precautions the restaurant was observing carefully.
Nice to have a restaurant of this caliber in Edmonds sice Seattle has turned into such a.... well you know.
Service is always fantastic & the food is perfect ♥️
Place is the balls
My husband’s birthday
We drive from Renton for this restaurant. Our server was helpful with all our questions. Food is excellent.
Had a last minute kid-free night, so date night at Salt & Iron. Happy to get early reservations on a Friday night during COVID.
We loved Salt & Iron. It was high end while still attainable. We ordered the burger and seafood pot for dinner, shigoku and kumamoto oysters to start and the bread pudding for dinner. It was all decadent. The only complaints are that the oysters weren't shucked perfectly clean so there were some shell fragments to pick out. Also the vinegar mignonette had ice chucks that were too big to use.
We will be back!
The food was adequate at best - the Brussels sprouts were so bad I was gagging the only bite I took down
Our server seemed like he wished we weren’t there. The atmosphere - well, there really isn’t one. I won’t be returning.
Salt and Iron was the perfect selection to our outdoor brunch day.
The staff was friendly and covid-conscious, the tables outside were cleaned frequently, and masks were required inside when you were up and moving about.
The food was absolutely delicious, the chicken and grits were some of the best I've had outside of the south. Don't forget to order oysters, they're amazing as well!
Thank you for a great afternoon!
We love the staff and the food!!
Overall we had a nice brunch. The only thing that was off was the temperature of the food. Not hot enough.
Nice place for a date or family dinner. 4 drinks, 2 entrees, 12 oysters $240.
Absolutely wonderful food. I had the seafood pot and my friend had the hamburger, both were amazing!!! Definitely going back .
As always, we had a meal to remember. The service was fantastic and the food...unmatched.
love! one of my favrotie places! you have to try the grilled octo
Was expecting better. Server not very attentive. We spent $170 for the two of us, plenty of food, the small plate beef filet with potato croquette was my favorite. We will try S&I again.
We love this place and are hoping this was an off night. The food was not up to their normal standard.
For $65, my New York strip, medium rare, was tough and dry. Very disappointed for the price they were asking. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place for a high quality steak.
Wonderful experience- we will be back
We had a wonderful evening. The menu offers many unique choices. There were 4 of us and each of us loved our meals. Meal presentation was also beautiful. Social distancing was well maintained. We will definitely be going back.
In normal times the ambience of Salt & Iron is five-star. The temporary partitions for COVID protection are well done, but they do take the ambience down a notch because being enclosed in one's own white-washed cubicle is not my idea of a cheerful dining-out experience.
Loved our waiter. She was spot on. Friends from out of town has not been "anywhere" for 6 months and we took them to S&I. They loved it.
Brunch was above average and very affordable for a table of 4. My table was right next to front door which was a bit annoying since the entrance door is right there, making the table very loud and drafty because there's little to no separation from new customers coming in and waiting.
Great food and good atmosphere!
Great lunch inside. Wonderful service, distanced seating and delicious food.
Salt & Iron never disappoints! This is one of my favorite restaurants and for good reason. The food is consistently excellent! Steaks cooked perfectly. Seafood chowder is awesome! Fries are addicting. Drinks are made well and service is always fantastic. This restaurant is a true gem. I want to eat here every week!
Loved the food and heater outdoor. Awesome service
Clams and mussels are excellent. Enjoyed beautifully prepared oysters on the half shell. Sharing allows you to taste more of the delicious options. Gracious, helpful service.
We’ve been here several times and everything has always been fabulous (from service to food). One of our faves, we’ll keep coming back.
Their oysters are delicious! Love the cozy atmosphere and friendly service!
The food tasted amazing, the service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean and enviting.
Great brunch food preparation , great to be out again!
This is a very comfortable place to enjoy excellent food and superb service.
