   My filet mignon came sliced and was over cooked. I’d expect better from a restaurant that’s got a lot of steak—iron is part of the name. Not sure I’ll dine here again. Plenty of other restaurants that cook steak properly.

   From the moment we walked in each person couldn’t have been more gracious and professional. Our server was attentive throughout our long meal and dessert, and every item and drink we ordered uniquely delicious. The decor and ambience are both classy and comfortable, and while it was noisy it was more of a happy hum than an obnoxious crowd. We’ll definitely return.

   This is a serious restaurant with a serious kitchen. I loved seeing the chef and manager ON DUTY and watching over each dish. The beet salad was one of the nicest I've seen anywhere. The smokey Old Fashioned was delicious. The calamari with jalopenos was ample and superb along with a lovely (if slightly overcooked) steak & fries.

   The food was good and my server was delightful. The seating was cramped and right next to the kitchen. Rather poor ambiance for the cost of the meal.

    Love dining in Edmonds for date night with my wife. Decided to try something new and was not disappointed. Amazing everything from food to drinks. Definitely worth the money to have sone amazing food, drinks and atmosphere.

    We found this place by chance as we were visiting Seattle. I had the Risotto and Prawns. Absolutely delicious. Wife had the cheese burger dressed up. Again very well made. So good we traversed there a second time and I had the pork chop, huge and cooked perfectly. Service is very good. Best place in Edmonds and surrounding area. They are busy so make a reservation. Ambiance great Food worth the price Drinks and wine top notch Thank you S & I for two great date night.

    Two things I love. Oysters and steak. Although all the dishes we got were delicious. I love that you can dress up or be casual at this restaurant. We loved our entrees so much we had to get dessert and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely meal and would come again.

    I love Salt and Iron, every time I visit; my family and I receive exceptional service and amazing food. The last few times we dined, we were lucky enough to have Dane (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) host us throughout our meal. We wanted a cider off the drink menu but it was sold out so Dane brought us another option and it complimented our oysters and calamari. The oysters were fresh and the acidic ice that comes along with it was so good which is one of the reasons I keep returning. Usually restaurants have lemon and tabasco along with the dish but I think the acidic ice is a VERY nice touch. For the main course we had the Salt and Iron ribeye, prawns and shoestring french fries. They had a chimichurri sauce on the steak and Dane brought out some jalapeño aioli for the fries, everything was delicious. Every time I eat at the restaurant, I already want to keep coming back. Dane constantly kept checking in with us and ensured everything was to our liking. He genuinely made an effort to connect with us as if we were eating at home. Dane had "aloha" which most restaurants lack these days. Thank you for always welcoming my ohana and me.

    We had reservations and were seated near the front of the restaurant near the door where they said it wouldn’t be cold. We’ll it was. Every time the door opened. The servers were nice. I ordered a steak salad. The steak was almost impossible to cut into bite size pieces due to the tendons in it. My husband’s burger was decent but the fries though good were barely warm. The folks at the table were pleased with the oyster appetizer though pricey. The prices are high at this restaurant. I don’t feel It’s good value for the food.

    We are regular diners at Salt and Iron. Last night was disappointing. Didn’t get the table I requested weeks in advance; put at a table in the corner which was probably too tight ; service was good, but food was mediocre given the price (even disregarding the price). Probably won’t go back soon.

    Perfectly prepared food. I enjoyed the Berkshire pork chop with sides of broccoli rabe and Brussels sprouts. The meat was excellent and the sides were uncommonly good. I will be back.

    Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Salt & Iron -- the calamari and bone marrow were delicious, as was my husband's filet. My pork chop was on the underdone side, but it heated up nicely to medium for lunch the next day. Our visit was the day after Valentine's Day, and we thought maybe the big guns had been cooking on the day itself and took the following day off, as we noticed three tables around us sent back their meat for not being cooked enough. There also was quite a lag time between courses. Our server was warm and attentive, which we appreciate. For dessert we shared the chocolate knoll, a spectacular piece of art but one of the strangest-tasting desserts we've ever had -- not a repeat!

    Great menu options making it truly difficult to choose just one thing. Excellent wait staff who were attentive and friendly the entire 2 + hours we were there. The food was layered making each bite pop in your mouth.

    My husband and I ate at Salt & Iron for brunch. The hostess and server were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. My only complaint is how loud it was. More specifically, other diners all around were talking loudly probably to hear over other tables. We want to go back, but maybe we will try dinner time and hope that we will be able to hear each other better during a conversation over delicious food.

    I love this place and have been for dinner many times, and this was my first time for brunch! Absolutely outstanding and not overpriced like some brunch places. Will definitely make this a habit. Can’t wait to be back.

    The food was excellent. Our espresso martinis weren’t great. Something off with the froth on top? Our server was so sweet and accommodating but not at all knowledgeable about the spirits menu. We were a bit disappointed having dined here many times through the years.

    We were greeted by the amazing staff and immediately led to our reserved table. Our waiter was very attentive and gave amazing recommendations based on off what we informed of our food preferences. All the food was amazing! We wished we had bigger stomachs. The only negative was the music was a bit louder than we would have preferred and made it difficult to hear each other from across the table. Overall an amazing 40th birthday celebration with my family! ♥️

    My spouse and I visited on a Saturday night at 5 pm to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We were seated at the front of the restaurant which worked for us. We had the Apple Salad to start, the Flat Iron steak with prawns, potatoes, broccolini, and the prawns with risotto for our main course, the lemon drop and spiced pear for beverages, and a fabulous chocolate and cotton candy work of art for dessert. One of the best dinners I have ever had in this region and the service was even better. Great food, elegant and cozy restaurant with a lively vibe, and attentive and welcoming staff. Worth every penny. We will be back to bring guests. Thank you for a memorable evening.
