Located in the heart of Downtown Edmonds, Salt & Iron brings the comfort of American Northwest cuisine. The brainchild of partners Andrew Leckie and Shubert Ho, their mission is to provide a comfortable dining experience that includes local oysters, steaks and great American cuisine.
Salt & Iron's dining room designed by visionary firm Inspired Interiors of Edmonds, brings a brighter and more welcoming dining atmosphere to the Downtown core. It is located just a short walk from the Kingston Ferry and the iconic Edmonds Fountain, where the Edmonds Farmers' Market and the Edmonds Art Walk take place. A full bar provides craft cocktails, local wines and draft beers to accompany the dining experience.

Food was good, albeit overpriced. Not sure how an entree and one nonalcoholic drink ended up at $42pp, unless it was added fees. Our server was delightful, weather was nice, but outdoor seating on the sidewalk (downhill) wasn’t my jam.

Overall, our food and wine selection was very good with the exception of the salmon dish. It was a berry poor cut of salmon, tasteless. Our server wasn’t that attentive, nor warm and hospitality focused. She seemed rushed, stressed, at seemed to forget our table at times. The evening was fine, but not up to your usual standards.

The food is always exceptional. We look forward to dining here when we are in town. We had a minor issue with our bill and the staff took care of it. Thanks Salt and Iron, we can’t wait to come back again hopefully soon!

Went here for Father’s Day. It was busy as expected so service was a tad bit slow. However had a great time with my family. Food was flavourful and lots of great options for our kids too. Overall had a great experience and will come back.

Food was not great. The kids (adult) have ordered burgers dozens of times from Salt and Iron and this evening they were all very dry. I ordered a Steak Salad (filet) and the steak was tough and the dressing for the salad was Smokey (chipotle like) and just didn’t taste good. The appetizers were good (Oysters and Bone Marrow). Perhaps it was an off evening for the food. Either way we would come back for appetizers and the good service.

This is our favorite restaurant because the staff is so friendly and wonderful every time, the food is delicious and also because I am easily able to eat keto/carnivore here!
