Located in the heart of Downtown Edmonds, Salt & Iron brings the comfort of American Northwest cuisine. The brainchild of partners Andrew Leckie and Shubert Ho, their mission is to provide a comfortable dining experience that includes local oysters, steaks and great American cuisine.
Salt & Iron's dining room designed by visionary firm Inspired Interiors of Edmonds, brings a brighter and more welcoming dining atmosphere to the Downtown core. It is located just a short walk from the Kingston Ferry and the iconic Edmonds Fountain, where the Edmonds Farmers' Market and the Edmonds Art Walk take place. A full bar provides craft cocktails, local wines and draft beers to accompany the dining experience.

Went here for Father’s Day. It was busy as expected so service was a tad bit slow. However had a great time with my family. Food was flavourful and lots of great options for our kids too. Overall had a great experience and will come back.

Food was not great. The kids (adult) have ordered burgers dozens of times from Salt and Iron and this evening they were all very dry. I ordered a Steak Salad (filet) and the steak was tough and the dressing for the salad was Smokey (chipotle like) and just didn’t taste good. The appetizers were good (Oysters and Bone Marrow). Perhaps it was an off evening for the food. Either way we would come back for appetizers and the good service.

We had excellent service. Our waiter was very energetic and warming to make us feel we were being taken care of. The food was really well put together, between the sauce under the duck to the doneness of the steak. Their deserts and cocktails help bring together a wonderful meal.

We have been stopping here ever since we discovered them, in 2020. They used to have a “Cowboy Steak” that was so delicious. We have stopped by every time we have been to Seattle. It is sadly coming off of our “must visit” list. The burgers were very gamey, however the grilled octopus was still delicious and tender. One dish is not enough for us to stop here any more. Maybe, when they bring back their cowboy steak. 🫤

Always a great bar with great food to celebrate special occasions! Friendly staff and cool vibe. We always enjoy bubbles with oysters and fries - if you haven’t had the combo you are missing out.
