Food as always was amazing! Servers are just okay. Asked if we wanted coffee refill, we said yes, but never came back with coffee. One person took our drink order, a second person brought our coffees, a third person took our food order and two different people brought the food.

very expensive for what you get. Very crowded and loud. Our table was tightly fit next to another table, my husband had to move in chair so server could serve table behind us. A member of our party asked for more chips and dip and the server rolled his eyes about it. One of our party was ready to order a drink, while the rest of us had not decided yet, and the server would not take his order till the rest of us had decided. Food was good, but with the entree you get a tiny little salad and that was it...

My daughter’s 9th birthday, and everyone was extra kind to make sure and make her feel special. The food was great as always (charcuterie platter is always a must), but our waiter (Jonathan), the hostesses and everyone who helped throughout the night went out of their way to wish her a happy birthday. Love our town, it’s people, and the great restaurants. Can’t wait to go back.

Used Open Table app to make the reservation. Smooth process. We were escorted to our table which was exactly what we requested - quiet, out of the way. The service was wonderful, as well as the food. We will definitely return.

Lovely place to take grandma for food and conversation, provided she is not very hard of hearing. Lovely new addition to downtown.

I like to support local businesses. My husband steak looked great...I opted for the seafood chowder. I would NOT recommend the chowder or maybe just an off night. Tasted like truffled oil potato chowder. Not good.

The filet was so tender it seemed as though it melted in my mouth. And OH, the lemon drop martini outstanding. My wifes scallops were out of this world. One of her favorite dishes.

Salt & Iron is a nice cozy spot for brunch, lunch, dinner or anytime! Their wine selection is great, and the wait staff was very knowledgeable and offered great advice on what to try. I was slightly disappointed in the charcuterie board, I found it a bit overpriced at $35 for the sparse offering. But I would love to stop in again and try something from the brunch menu!

I'd heard a lot of good things about Salt and Iron. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. Both by the food and the service. They were doing a hopping Brunch on Sunday. It was a good thing we had reservations. The food and the service were "meh". I can't say that I would recommend to a friend. But I can't say that I wouldn't. There were a couple of other menu items that I would not mind trying but I'm not sure that we will go back when there are other good restaurants in Edmonds. In particular Girardi's Osteria and Las Brisas have both been excellent.

We really enjoyed our visit. They were very busy so service took some time to get started and followed up on but our server was fantastic when we saw her. It was understanding for how busy they were. Menu items were well explained and the food was excellent. A great birthday for my girl!

Salt n Iron has quickly become of my favorite dining expierences. The food always exceeds my expectations in taste and presentation. I will say however it is the staff that keeps me coming back. Chad from the first time I met him months ago became my favorite server of all time. He is funny, charming, knowledgeable and has saved me from an awkward first date a time or 2. Thank you for giving a dining experience that is casual yet 5 star dining. ❤️

Clams & mussels had a flavorful broth, but too salty. The grilled como bread that it came with was so yummy! Perfect amount of char, crispy edges, soft interior.
Steak sliders were good, but the fried onions were kind of soft, soggy, not crispy.
Steak salad was delicious with the perfect amount of dressing, but again, the fried onions were not crispy.
Seafood chowder was excellent, flavorful, not too salty.
Chicken wings were good. Large wings.
Deconstructed tiramisu looked pretty but didn't taste good. Cake was dry & bland. The macaron was yummy. This dessert was trying too hard. Didn't really match the restaurant. I just wanted a good old satisfying toothsome moist tiramusu - not some tiny pieces of cake topped with a caramelized sugar wafer with pretty looking swirls of chocolate syrup.

Unfortunately I am giving a bad review. I wanted so badly to like this restaurant but after numerous visits I have found it to be less than good.
Bad, slow, thoughtless service. Dirty tables and utensils. Mediocre food. Not ideal for any dinning experience.

We had a wonderful dining experience at salt and iron. The service was excellent and every one of our meals was absolutely delicious. The drinks were awesome as well. It was our friends birthday and they brought her a special birthday dessert. We also had a dessert trio that was out of this world. Would highly recommend this restaurant, it was fabulous

Food and service was wonderful. Our steak was a perfect medium rare, and everything was delicious.

The only bummer was being seated right next to a large group, which made it hard for my partner and I to hear each other during our valentine’s dinner. Not a huge deal, but it was loud.

We go to Salt and Iron a lot for breakfast, but will probably not do a romantic dinner here again.

An excellent restaurant downtown Edmonds. Very knowledgeable waitstaff. Our waiter recommended which of the 5 or 6 oysters would be best. The bartender knows what he/she is doing and the food was outstanding. I had a hanger steak with a risotto side and my wife just a salad. Nice wine list, just nice all around.
