   The restaurant was empty inside and outside. Our server Hector was too busy playing on his phone, vaping in the back, chatting up the hostess instead of checking in with a party of 7. Had to flag him down several down while the manager was seated at the table adjacent to ours. Not once did he come by to ask if we wanted more food, drinks, refill water unless asked for it. He clearly did not want to be there that night. Poor attitude and service by our server. Would not recommend.

   Lily was our waitress!! She was incredible! We were a gang of 7 ladies with different drink orders & lots of different tastes!! Lily could not have been more accommodating! Her customer services skills were impressive! Salt 7 is lucky to have her as a server! She didn't miss a beat & she was very busy with other tables, too!

   There are many, many better brunch places in Fort Lauderdale. The food was expensive and not particularly good. Servers were slow and we had to ask for refills numerous times. They’ve raised prices while at the same time removing the best items from the menu. Oh yea, and no bottomless mimosas which is table stakes for brunch these days. I won’t be back.

   Terrible service, had to wait for more than an hour for our food.. the waiter kept forgetting our orders. The food was so salty I guess that’s how they got their name🙄. The manager wasn’t helpful at all when we complain. First and last time! Making it worse this was on Mother’s Day smh

   The food was good but the service was very slow and disorganized. we waited an hour to get our salad , never got my second drink and later on found out i got charged for it too. couple of us got our food while the rest had to wait for theirs. I can’t recommend the restaurant and i would never good back.

    We went for Mother’s Day and it was a tragic experience to say the least. We waited almost 2 hours for our meals and when they finally arrived, they were all cold. We asked to speak with a manager who never came to the table. I’ve been here numerous times and coordinated birthday brunches, dinner parties, etc here. This is the second time there was a significant issue and I don’t see any reason to go back. This experience unfortunately ruined our desire to return to this restaurant. I’ll be bringing my business and affiliates elsewhere.

    The staff here is amazing! Everyone is polite, friendly……excellent people skills. Our meal was tasty. It did take a while for our food to come out and was a bit cold, but still good. Our waiter and the manager did address it accordingly. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! Also, thanks to security for our pictures lol!

    Worst experience ever… 52min wait for 2 OJs & water (yes i counted) 😖.. food came after an hour & cold . The Server was inattentive and slow. The manager was even worse; a Complete a-hole. They gave us the wrong bill at the end & was very nonchalant about the whole experience. Never again. The view was nice though.

    Food was super slow, then brought it out cold, my lamb chops were overcooked, then redone and undercooked, and no one told us they ran out of Brussels sprouts until I asked an hour after ordering why that hadn't come out yet. No desire to go back after enjoying it there previously. Only thing good that night, was a margarita.

    Extremely underwhelmed by this restaurant. Poor service. Took 30 mins to be helped and served just water. Another 20 mins to get one drink. Ordered their “Crispy Brussel Spouts” and they were burnt. Filet Mignon was over cooked. Server never came to ask how everything was. Great view but a tourist trap for sure.

    I was looking forward to having dinner and drinks here with a view of the water. When we first got seated it took over 10 minutes before a server came by to ask us if we wanted drinks. He also never introduced himself so I wasn't sure if he was our server of just coming over from the bar to get us drinks. My first drink was a Cosmo and it tasted watered down. Afterwards I had their Black Salt Margarita and that was really good. We then had the Grouper Ceviche and Sushi Pizza for apps. They were both very tasty. For dinner we ordered the Filet and Brussel Sprouts. They were good but we had to eat while swatting flies away. I was expecting a lot more from this restaurant and sadly I was disappointed.

    Great experience as always, the Happy Hour Menu had many options, the Black Salt Margarita was amazing. But as per usual we had to order the Lobster Mac & Cheese which is absolutely everything and worth the trip alone. We both eat off of it and always have plenty of leftovers from it. The view of the New River & passing boats when seated outdoors is always as enjoyable as the people & pet watching. Only thing is I wish the passerby’s had enough sense or respect to not let their pet relieve themself on a pole right next to people eating. I have 2 dogs and understand it’s outdoors and there are other areas where the scent won’t temporarily linger

    COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. We had a 7:30 reservation for two on Saturday. Were met at the reception desk and the receptionist couldn't find our reservation. After much back and forth, they located it and sat us inside because all outside seating was booked. Big mistake on our part not reserving where to sit. The inside seating area is relatively small. There was a DJ that night and the music was so loud we couldn't talk across the table. Lighting is too bright (think red) and there is a constant parade of patrons from outside to use the restrooms and to congregate at the bar to socialize. Our server was the best part of this experience, but she could not overcome the inefficiency of management and the kitchen. It took almost an hour to get our drinks and appetizers. We had to send the first drinks (Cosmos) back because they tasted antiseptic. Settled for a Martini and a coke which were ok. Shrimp cocktail arrived: big bowl of ice and 4 shrimp; tuna tartare with wontons - no wontons and a couple of forkfuls of tuna. Not impressed. We ordered short ribs for the main course. It took almost another hour to get them. The meat was dry and stringy-as were the potatoes; usually a sign of sitting around too long. We didn't eat it. Asked to see the Manager, who was very apologetic. He removed the main course charges and we gave the server a big tip for her efforts. To be fair, the outdoor experience might have been better. There is a superb view of the river and elegant pavilions to eat under. But in our opinion, the place seems overwhelmed by the crowds of people and there seems to be little communication between the front of the house and the kitchen. There are better options for your time and money.

    Monday night Anniversary dinner, excellent ambiance, beautiful river view. Food was good but not over the top. Server was said to be new and could definitely use further training. The restaurant was not busy yet the server wandered off after our appetizer was served and we had to request him to return to our table to place our main entree order. You would expect much better attention for what your are paying.

    Tha Martinis tasted watered down and not a full glass. The broccolini was cold. The lobster salad was disappointing with hardly and lobster. What was there was tiny pieces, very over priced for the amount of lobster. The Signage based We had to walk all over u til we saw a river cafe which happened to be your out door bar. Not easy to find. Need I say more? on your address was non existent. No valet after 4 pm?

    First, we booked on Open Table and there was no area like some bookings for an option of inside or outside seating. When we arrived, we asked about outside seating as it was a nice night outside and this was our first time at Salt 7. The hostess told us there would be at least an hour wait so we sat inside right away. The drink options, while quite a few, seemed lacking as i couldn't really decide as nothing stood out as looking exceptional. The food was mediocre at best. We ordered the short rib dinner and a salmon dinner to split both. The salmon came out lukewarm and the short rib was way overcooked. Now, I'm not saying short rib meat should be rare but this meat was pretty overcooked. The piece of salmon still had the skin on it which isn't the case at most restaurants. There was what looked like a DJ playing music which was WAY too loud (I'm not an old person that complains about loud music but when I can't hear my wife at a table for two and she's sitting right across from me it's too loud). In fact, the only good thing about this restaurant was the waitress was friendly and nice. We also ordered the brussel sprouts as a side dish which the kitchen seemed to forget about and the waitress brought them over as i was taking my last bite of my main course (so we didn't eat them...she did offer to give them to us to go at no charge but even still we refused as we weren't going to eat them at home). I heard before coming to Salt 7 from a couple of friends that said the place was mediocre at best and they weren't wrong. We will never return to this place as it offers NOTHING we can't get at any other restaurant and not worth our time for the mediocre food. There are too many other GREAT places to ear to waste our time and money on this one. I totally DO NOT recommend this to anyone.

    I went yesterday for the first time with my boyfriend and another couple, I made my reservation through this app and when we arrived, the hostess told us that our reservation is to sit outside and not inside at the "Blackout Sunday Brunch" because the reservation for the party is directly with the restaurant which is very confusing and by the way you can't find this information online. We were very disappointed, but the manager and hostess were very nice and helped us get a table inside. Now, when we walked in, we're told it was $65 per person, which included food, family style (sharing) and the bottomless drinks not included. It should be said that the menu inside is totally different from brunch outside. It literally feels like you are in two different restaurants. The "Blockout Brunch" starts at 2:30pm until 5:00 p.m. Honestly, I think it's better to have the usual brunch outside and if you want you can go inside and dance during the party. In conclusion, I feel that the place has potential, but they should work more on the organization and make it clear that through OPEN TABLE you are not booking for the party.
