I fully expected more. I am a true foodie and this place did not impress at all.
Overall negative experience. Portion of salmon was the smallest of any restaurant I have been to. We were a party of 6. Waiter was forgetful with drink orders and was mostly not attentive to our table until we asked. We had to cancel 2 drink orders that he forgot to get. Our water and mimosa glasses were empty multiple times until we asked. The food was overall fair. The music was very loud throughout so was hard to hear our party. We would not go back.
Crab cake was cold in the center, ahi tuna was over cooked when it was ordered raw! Lobster mac n cheese was delicious though.
I love Saltz7! Never disappoints! Friend in town and that was my pick for lunch!!
The ambience was amazing, unfortunately the food was extremely bland (Ceviche and Lobster roll). Service was ok, a little slow. Would not return.
Congratulations on my new favorite spot for great drinks, food, views of the River and professional staff. Adrianne (I hope I spelled her name right) was 100% my kind of lady. She literally read our minds.
Amazing place for lunch, the service is on point deff coming back
Our sever was very not happy to be there and her attitude was mean
Had brunch. Great venue. Great food. Recommend Salt for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. Coffee was served luke warm. After asking for hot coffee we were told that it is not brewed in a pot but comes out of a machine and it cannot get hotter.
We received the wine at the end of the meal
We had a great time at Salt7
Maybe best at night or anytime you're up for yelling over thumping music. My group raved about the food. Service seemed checked out.
Food and ambiance were amaizing. Hostess and waiters (some of them) need more learning
We had a wonderful table by the water but got drenched by a downpour. We were then accommodated with an inside table. Once everyone drip-dried, we had a nice time.
Very cute and chic place! First time going as we heard it was a new spot in Las Olas and it did not disappoint! The food was great and service as well. The restaurant is right next to the water so the view is also a plus.
The ambiance at Salt 7 is A plus. The outside seating next to the boardwalk is terrific. Service was also A plus. The food was average. I ordered the crab which was listed at a market price. I expected it to be may $50 per pound but that it would be somewhat fresh. It arrived frozen and I found out when I got my bill that it was $134 per pound??!! Yea, that's not a typo.
If I could give 0 stars I would - I had a really bad experience at Salt 7, I came to celebrate my birthday with 3 of my friends, our waiter was horrible- very rude and barely attended to us. I had ordered a BLT Benny - I did not like the sauce that it came with so I requested to change my plate to the chicken and waffles, our waiter said that the cooks gave him a hard time because we went ahead and changed our order - … like seriously - he was extremely unprofessional, when our tab arrived we had left a $20 tip ( he deserved $0) he looked at us and said,” is that all? So RUDE!!!! We provided a 15% tip, I was in such shock. He made us feel so uncomfortable, I regret leaving him anything, will never come back again!! We had bottomless mimosas - he barley came around to fill our drinks - it’s so unfortunate that our waiter ruined our experience, if we had someone else I would of had the best time. Please don’t waste your time coming here - it’s not worth it
Food and ambiance was nice however there was a long wait time for food.
We sat by the water outside, 6 of us. We all enjoyed our dinners and the atmosphere. Service was great and the sat us as soon as we arrived, we made our reservation about 5 days ahead of time.
Salt7 is a fantastic place for any occasion. During the day it has a light atmosphere, and at night this restaurant is fire! 😍
Every single cocktail we tried was just awful - you gotta get bartenders who know what they are doing.
I recommend going for Happy Hour, the dinner is sort of ok . They advertise the Truffle Lobster Mac n Cheese and to be honest it was not the best. I was willing to pay for a $40 dish but that was just not the best. It was dry you had to continuously stir it to get the sauce on the noodles, the truffles on the top weren't even fresh. The truffles seemed to be from a jar or can, just not fresh. The Claw meat in the Mac n Cheese seemed to be frozen meat as well , a lobster tail should have been the move. Dont get me wrong my boyfriend had the short ribs and it was delicious but the risotto tasted more of truffles then my Mac n Cheese. The drinks and ambiance is great just don't think its the move for a cute diner . Its definitely a great place for happy hour, drinks, and good vibes . I would definitely come back for drinks and a good time.
The restaurant is nice with alot of outdoor dining
Amazing Sunday Brunch
I literally go there 2-3x per week. Absolutely amazing. The best part of this place is the steak, it is the best steak I have ever had. On the weekends they also have a dj and club lights after 10pm which is so nice.
Food was delicious service was personal and nothing could be better
It was the worst experience ever last night. First it took 25 minutes for a server to come over. Then we got our dinner before drinks were even brought to the table. Then our seever disappeared and another server had to come take care of us. Then the wrong drinks kept coming to our table. No one ever came to clear off the empty appetizer seafood tower and the ice was melting and pouring all over the table. One of meals had to go back because it was so over cooked. To top it all off it took almost an hour to get our check. For a $300.00 meal I was extremely disappointed since it was also my birthday dinner.
Great experience, the staff was very accommodating and the food and drinks were excellent!
Very good cocktails and food amazing service
The Crab Cake was amazing! We enjoyed our Entrees as well, the short rib with the mushroom risotto as well as the salmon. The free bread that they bring is dry. Save yourself the calories for the tasty selections!
It's was really loud! We went on a Thursday night and the music was like a night club. We had to shout to hear each other across the table. Not a bad atmosphere, just not conducive to carry a conversation. If you're looking for a vibrant club like restaurant with great food, this is your spot. It's not romantic though. My fiancée planned on proposing that night. It was too loud so he had to wait till we left. Still an amazing night!
The food and service is always great, truly enjoy dining at Salt7!
The entire service staff was outstanding. Excellent teamwork... a tribute to good management and hard-working staff.
It was so nice and the food very delicious and good amount
Great service by Denise at the table and while we waited at the bar we had Sabrina take care of us.
The food was fantastic
Will go again pretty soon
We waited 45 minutes, only got water which our server basically threw on the table and said he’d be back, but never came. So we left before even getting to order food. Terrible service, I’m assuming the food was just as terrible as the table beside us was also complaining and sent half their meals back. Will never go back.
Not sure what happened but my food never arrived. Not sure why this happened but I would have thought that the waiter would have caught this. Also, market price for the crab legs was $140 seemed a little ridiculous. Also would have thought that the waiter would have let us know what the price was when ordering. Place seemed understaffed which is kind of the norm right now.
Great Restaurant if you want to be in the action. With the Ferry, intercostal, and seating from inside all the way out to the intercostal provides a background of young thinking people on the go! There is a lot of people that are "easy on your eyes". Make sure you DO NOT pass the Valet going the wrong way and do a U turn, the motorcycle cops are just sitting there waiting for you to do so. Make sure you keep going down the street, go around the corner, and down around two blocks where you will see an area to turn around legally!
Was very excited to try the newer location on Las Olas. I've been to the one on Atlantic Ave and have had good experiences. However, the quality of the food at Las Olas was not good at all. For the price of the food and drinks you would expect the highest quality. Drinks were overly sweet and extremely over priced. $18 for a watered down paloma is not worth it. Bread delivered to table was cold and hard. French fries served with my philly cheese steak were ice cold and hard. Bread for the sandwich was so too hard to even chew... ended up only eating the meat and cheese... would not recommend.
Excellent food, service and view! If you’re a sushi lover, definitely order the sushi pizza
It was a rainy day so the only outdoor table was in the sun or farther down by the bar with an umbrella. No seating under the overhang. I really wanted to sit outside but the rain won, and we dined indoors.
Waiter was very professional and service was good. No complaints at all. I rated ambiance low because the DJ music was very loud inside. Not that I wasn’t enjoying the DJ!
I ordered the dragon fruit mojito. It came and was very beautiful. One sip and it was pure, tart lime. Awful. Sent it back and got a spicy Bloody Mary. It was fine.
Ordered the BLT Benny! Do it! Yes! This southern girl couldn’t stop raving about the fried green tomatoes, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. Poached eggs were perfect. Really good blend of flavors.
My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, and he really enjoyed that.
