We believe you will love our farm to table inspired menu with fresh local ingredients and the touch of deeply rooted Latin flavor. Our chef brings his knowledge from the culinary capital of the Caribbean and delivers it right to your table.

You will love our cozy, modern, great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and an extensive list of wine, spirits and beer.

If you're Hispanic you won't be impressed by the food and chances are you could probably make it better.

Restaurant located in area of town surrounded by construction and not a very nice area, along with truly being out of the way. Food was not good, no flavor, poorly prepared and bland. Service was poor they never came by to see if everything was ok until we asked for a check. Ambiance did not make you feel that you were in restaurant, let along a Puerto Rican restaurant. Prices were expensive and the chef should take lessons on how to prepare Pernil. Very disappointed.

Very, very slow service with avg food. We were there at 6:15 and didn’t get our food until after 7pm...and we were the only customers there until we left.

Made me feel right at home. Puertorrican food always packs a punch on your palate. The flavors and the seasonings are incomparable.

The waitress was wonderful, but other than that we did NOT enjoy this place. The food was extremely overpriced and it took an hour to get our food. The food was not good (chicken and fish was dry and very small proportions). On top of that the music was extremely loud and we could not hear each other even though we were sitting next to each other. Would NOT recommend and will NOT return to this restaurant. I left hungry

The only complaint about the food was that the pork roast was dry. The rest of the meal was very good and the Latin music was superb.

Showed up to an empty host stand and a relatively empty restaurant. It took more than five minutes to be acknowledged. We were seated shortly, however we were never served. No one came by our table in 15 minutes - at which point we left. The menu looked to be okay at best with a very unusual mix of foods. The atmosphere was unusual as well considering the prime location downtown. We will never be back.

My wife is from Puerto Rico and I am from Cuba, so thought we’d give it a try. The place was very clean and the service was fantastic!! My food was great (mofongo w/churrasco). However my wife and mom both had the fried pork chunks. They were slightly overdone and very, very salty. I would go back.

It was okay at best. I love plantains, so that was a treat. But the overall experience left a lot to be desired. We had reservations through open table, but ended up having to sit at the bar. The food was not very authentic, took a long time, and was dry.

Food was great and the service was great. everybody in the group enjoy the food and the atmosphere. It would be much better to have a live band, it would be more attractive to people.

Went for an early birthday gift for my husband. Drove in to Tennessee from Kentucky for dinner and a show in Nashville. Had made a reservation but was not busy. Great spanish music, not too loud. Waiter was good and knowledgeable. Food was good although I wasn’t impressed by the pernil I ordered. It seemed reheated after being left there for a while. The coconut flan and tres leche cake were amazing though. We returned the next day for lunch and had a fresh pastelon with salad which was amazing.
Iver all good experience. Will definitely return.

Big fans of Latin food and Salsa came recommended to us. The food didn’t disappoint. The pastelon was truly remarkable and the meat in the empanadillas were perfectly seasoned. Every aspect of the meal itself was spot on except slightly over seasoned fried pork, which still was very tasty. The drinks were also very good. We tried both the chalala and the passion fruit sangria was delicious. The only other slight issue was the wait times for food, but the staff were incredibly courteous and friendly, they simply seemed somewhat overwhelmed. We think we’ve found our new favorite Latin restaurant and can’t wait to visit again.

Oof the food was delicious but the service was awful: We specifically requested a wheelchair-friendly table in our reservation, but they didn't accommodate that beforehand. They brought out metal outdoors chairs and tables for us to replace the high table/chairs, which were of course less comfortable and significantly smaller than the normal furniture. It took 50 minutes to get our appetizers and another hour to get our entrees. Many other tables came, ate a similar/same number of courses, and left in half the time we took. Our water glasses were consistently empty (amusing side note: one person asked for a refill of her empty glass and the server came back and topped off the one almost full glass at the table and none of the others). I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or what but it wasn't a great experience.

That said, the food was good - especially the pernil and the salmon. The calamari wasn't that exciting, but the desserts were fantastic - I'd definitely recommend the tasting platter. The mojitos and pina coladas were good. Also, they haven't sold mahi mahi for quite some time, so don't expect that even though it's on the menu.

Really enjoyed this place . Party of 5, and everyone said their meal was delicious! Nice and interesting choices on the menu. We all plan to go back and try different dishes. I did not give an overall rating of 5 due to them only having a small beer selection, and the wait to receive our food was quite long. Although the place is small, it was a Saturday evening and there was only one waiter. The food was definitely worth the wait, however, we were on a time frame to get to a show at City Winery (which is right around the corner by the way!).

So great to have variety in Nashville! Tasty, well presented, freshly made authentic Puerto Rican food. The drinks were special from tropical mojito to coquito also known as Mother’s milk. To top it all off, the live music was so enjoyable it made us get up and dance Salsa!

The food was really good. I had the mofongo ropa vieja and an order of sweet plantains. It was a lot of food so my husband helped me finish it. We were in the area for an event at the Music City Center and chose the restaurant because of the location. We enjoyed it and will go back to eat there.

This place is a mess I live with a Puerto Rican and have Puerto Rican food all the time. Thought we would try this place while visiting Nashville. Only 2 servers working and a full restaurant. The appetizers were fried to long or the oil was old and the entry was disastrous. The pork was supper fatty and tough, the beef was chewy and also undercooked. The white rice was so salty I could not eat and the beans....8 beans in a bunch of water. Others complained about cold food iurs was hot. I hope they can turn this place around or else they will go out of business.

I was so excited to go to this restaurant as it was recommended by our hotel, and we were in town for a World Language Conference and thought it would be the perfect place for us to dine.
We had a reservation which they were very kind to change over the phone to accommodate another guest, but we had to wait at least 30 minutes before being seated. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but it seemed that there weren't enough servers for the evening since the bartender also had to take orders and wait on the tables. We were so very excited to be able to have the delicious ropa vieja that we had been thinking of the whole day, but were disappointed to find out that they were out of it...strange for 7:30 in the evening on a Friday night at a Puerto Rican restaurant. Some of the appetizers were quite good (the papas rellenos and the black bean hummus), the pernil was tasty, and the waitstaff were friendly, but the salmon was very dry and overdone, and two of our dishes were served cold. Overall, most of us were disapointed. We called over the manager who listened to us kindly and attentively. Hopefully some of our feedback will help so that the restaurant can succeed, as it would be a great place to go if things went smoothly. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

Last m reservation to this place turned out well. We actually considered not going in when we turned up as it was dead inside. But we had great service and reccomendations of what to order. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, actually we didnt really need the two starters we ordered as the were large.
There was zero atmosphere especially for a Saturday night - but apparently there is music and dancing on other night. Perhaps thats why there were tables stacked on top of each other at the back - which didnt add to the ambience either.
All in all - would for sure reccomend to others for a causal night - we would for sure go back for lunch - just not a date night place in my opinion - but the food we REALLY GOOD.
