It was my Sister’s 50th birthday and even with the lower level being closed for reservations due to storm flooding, the atmosphere was great and the DJ played a good variety of music. Yes, food was very good.

This was a great place to go with my family on a Friday night! There was an incredible salsa band playing live music. I ordered the chicken trifongo it was DELICIOUS. My boyfriends ordered the pernil and omg it was huge and delicious!!!! The pulpo salad was perfect and the coconut shrimp was great! We also got flan and tres Leche!!! We will definitely be back!!

The wait to be seated was only about 2 minutes. We were going to be seated at a high table but we asked for a low table and we were immediately accommodated. After placing our drink order, we waited 15-20min for the waitress to take our appetizer and dinner order which was a little long. However, the service after that was amazing! The busboys were young but very respectful and attentive. They cleared our table right away as we finished each course, refilled our waters often and even cleaned our table when they saw it was wet from the condensation of our drink glasses. We were checked on constantly if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Aside from that, the food was AMAZING! Definitely worth the price! Overall an incredible experience and the ambiance was so fun! They had salsa playing and a live band who came on as we were leaving, guests were able to dance by their tables. Very fun!!

Our server was a much older short male who didn’t check up on us nearly enough as he should of. Did not give good service at all. Yet put 20% grat on a check for 2 guests which is still against the law lol. We almost were going to has him to take it off because we tipped the bus boy already but didn’t want to do that. I manage vibe dining restaurants in NYC and this was horrible for this type of venue . I’ll still be back soon cause it’s around the corner from my house and one of their dishes I love PLUS the busboy enhanced our experience. The new shy buss boy was beyond exceptional!! Sometimes less experience goes a long way now in a new era of post covid.
