Great dining experience! Food was amazing!

What a pleasant dining experience. The service is outstanding, and the meal presentation was excellent. I had the flank steak, which was tender flavorful. My wife had the fish, which was also delicious. The calabacitas side dish was the perfect complement. Wonderful evening and a perfect Valentine’s weekend date night!

Salomé on Main was a divine culinary experience. A moderate twist on traditional flavors and dishes. The Margarita Salomé, Memelas, Sopa de Elote, and Estofado were all phenomenal. Treat yourself to one of their fabulous desserts if you have room as the portions are generous. Provecho!

Great food. Great service

For me, Salome is hands-down the best of the Valley. Beautiful setting, excellent service, and an interesting menu with fantastic cookery. My date had the pork belly, and she was willing to offer the 1st bite to me, but after that she guarded her plate jealously. Crispy, smoky, complex - never enjoyed better pork belly anywhere. My ribeye was cooked to perfection and the menu planning was thoughtful.

Everything about our experience was impeccable. The wait staff guide us through our selections and even brought us some off menu items that were extra special. Chef Larry came to our table and visited with us for a while and told us in great detail about the preparation of the food and his passion. I would rank this amongst one of the better dining experiences I’ve ever had.

First time dining at Salome, the food was great lived up to our expectations and I have to say the service was the best. Our waiters were friendly, always smiling ready to attend to our needs and courteous. Overall I would return to dine again and would recommend to friends

First time trying this restaurant and would go again. The atmosphere was casual. Attentive service members and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was exotic Mexican that I have not found at other restaurants. The seating was uncomfortable but not limited by social distancing; we did make a reservation.The menu was limited in comparison to other restaurants. Overall 3/5 stars because of the seating and noise level carries.

People were great and service excellent. Actually they came to our table maybe to much in these crazy times were in. Waitress very nice. Other in area constantly assisted in our service.

We were a bit disappointed with the food this time. We have been there before Covid and it was very very good.
Not this time. We think it is because they just re opened? We sure hope so. It took a long time before our food was served too.

The entire staff is at your service and make you feel right at home. Sit on the patio or enjoy the beautiful interior of a renovated hacienda. Cozy up to the bar for a drink and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. The cocktails feature Mexican staples such as margaritas and the best damn Paloma you've ever had. The wine list features staple varietals and bottles sourced from Mexico. We look forward to going again/

Great service. We were able to enjoy dinner with just the right amount of server interaction and we didn't have to wait very long on anything. Food was delicious and flavorful.

From the moment I stepped out of the car I was impressed! The building was impressive. I was welcomed as I walked through the door and escorted to my table. Jonathan, my server, provided excellent details regarding the menu and was attentive during my meal. The food was exceptional! The ingredients were fresh and I could taste the complexity of each dish. I was impressed with the entire experience! I will definitely return when in McAllen. This is a gem!
