About

The Salmon Pool Inn, located on the beautiful Margaree River and Cabot Trail, has a menu that builds from our local food sources. Seasonal and inventive Chef Charles Beaton presents a weekly selection of what is coming up in the Margarees. Complemented by craft beers and wines from Nova Scotia.
Local pub atmosphere with fine dining.

The Patio
When the weather is nice come enjoy dinning on the river or just for a drink and dessert or 'sundowner'.

The Snug
We have a small private dining room that is great for intimate gatherings. It features its own wood stove where you can sample and indulge in Single Malts.

It was smaller than we expected. The short menu was even shorter when they were out of some items. The food was tasty and well prepared. Suprisingly there was no salmon on the menu and they were out of the seafood chowder.
