Sala is the newest addition to the Riccobono family of establishments, including Peppermill, Riccobono’s Panola St. Café, and Café Navarre. Now serving lunch Tuesday through Friday as well as breakfast Saturday and Sunday!
Good culinary special choices. We had one of everything and all was very good.
SALA is always a solid choice for dining & drinks.
The salmon board was delicious as well as the fish & shrimp tacos.
Ambiance never disappoints and the location is great.
It is a definite bonus if you live in the neighborhood.
Place was nice. Service was great but the food was meh. A little pricey for meh food.
Everything from salad to dessert was delicious. And, the service was excellent too. I will go back without a doubt, very soon.
Food was great,as was the service!
Love the seared tuna salad
Very good. Awesome waitress Courtney
This was our second time and we were very disappointed. The specialty drinks are made with low end bourbon, tequila and vodka. The crawfish beignets were all bread and no crawfish. The spinach and artichoke dip lacked flavor and didn’t have any hint of garlic in it that would have made a big difference . The calamari is good but the sauce they used does not taste like it’s made from scratch. We will not go back.
Great food and live the outdoor seating due to Covid.
Food was great
Great food, great service, as always!
We are hooked on the burgers, although I did stray and have soft shell crab last visit, but I went back to burgers again.
Food was great. Food has been great both times I’ve eaten there. I live out of town and when coming in town I made the reservation to dine at Sala.
Waitress was a bit disoriented. Said she hadn’t worked their in a year and she had been at waitressing since 6:30 am. While I appreciate she’s a hard worker, it shouldn’t affect our dining experience.
We were 3 ladies meeting for dinner as I had just gotten in town. I ordered champagne. She apparently didn’t know how to serve it cause I had to turn my head when she was opening it. In The event the cork flew out, it was pointed right at me and would have hit me in the face. She took 2 of our orders and started walking away without taking the 3rd ladies order. We had to call her back to take the other lady’s order. We all three substituted a side salad for potatoes. At checkout one lady was upset as the salad was an up charge and the waitress didn’t bother to advise us prior to the change in order.
Love the food and atmosphere but this time the service wasn’t great.
Consistently great food!
Great food, attentive waitress
Delicious food and excellent staff
We have been to Sala since the pandemic and reopening and we found it very safe. Saturday night the left side of Restuarant 2 tables were placed next to each other with 6 people at each table and no social distancing, people were very close to each other. Our waiter wore his mask below his nose. It concerned me and my wife. Service was exceptionally slow causing tables not to turn timely crowding people inside restaurant. I have supported Sala since its opening and I feel owners need to be made aware of the actions of their staff.
Great staff, food & owner is super accommodating
Wonderful for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays as well as dinner during the week. The food is delicious (love the crawfish omelette for brunch).
Everything went smoothly. Tables were six feet apart and employees were wearing the proper PPE, professional, courteous, nice, and great customer service.
Yummy cocktails and small plates! We got the truffle fries, spinach & artichoke dip.
We came because of an article we read about them. But we were disappointed because they didn’t have the menu item we were after
The menu at Sala is as diverse as the clientele. There is always a special. We have been regular patrons for 3 years and guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We always enjoy our visits to Sala's. The owner and staff are all very friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend!
We dined at Sala on Saturday afternoon. Had the soft shell crab Benedict. It was outstanding. Very large crab with two perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. We also had the bottomless mimosas. Will definitely dine there again. Can’t wait to try their other offerings.
Great service and food is consistently great
We purposely ate out on the patio. The view is a street and a wall.
Great food! Great service!!
Our server Nikki was wonderful. The cocktails were phenomenal, I highly recommend the coconut mojito. The duck empanadas were outstanding, and the entrees were excellent. The zeppoli were the perfect size and texture., and the perfect light sweet bite to end the meal. We will make this spot a regular on our restaurant repertoire. The only critique I have would be that the Fra diavolo sauce was too sweet.
Sala was amazing as usual and it did not hurt that we got our favorite waitress Tara! The ambience and the noise are why we love Sala even more! Great place for date night!
shannon and ryan e.
Food was good. I loved the bacon brussel sprouts! Good service.
Made a reservation 15 minutes prior to the reservation time. The hostess wanted to sit us in the sun which we objected to. They said that due to the limited seating that is all they had and that their reservations would not allow us to be seated in one of the open (not blocked for social distancing) tables. The feeling I got was that the hostess didn't want to give us what we wanted. Why couldn't the next reservation sit in the sun. We left rather than sit in the sun.
Really enjoyed Friday Happy Hour and dinner. The waiter made excellent suggestions for our tastes. Overall very satisfied and had a great experience. Will definitely be back.
Always a great warm friendly place with consistently good food!!
The fish tacos were fantastic. Sitting on the patio is a great place to dine.
Phenomenal brunch and enjoyed our friends and 2 dogs. We LOVE Sala and appreciate that they keep Veuve Clicquot Rosé cold in a bucket for us ... love their burgers and they are just incredible every time!!!
The blackened catfish with rice was one of the best dishes I have had in years. The other fish dish was also very, very good.
Always a great experience. The food is consistent and delicious. The menu provides something for everyone. A combination of easy dining, great cocktails, and fresh ingredients make Sala the local gem we love so much.
