   The majority of the tables are located upstairs, while the kitchen is on the first floor. The ambiance inside the dining room was lovely, and the view from the terrace was fantastic. Crab cake appetizer was excellent. Served with a side of kale salad and a lovely, slightly sweet, creamy dressing. My husband had the chicken Marsala. It was very good, but be forewarned that it is a chicken leg quarter, rather than breast. I had the mushroom risotto, and I must admit it wasn’t my favorite, but still good. The bananas foster bread pudding was excellent, as were the cocktails. Overall a very good restaurant. We would go back.

   The food was tasty but the portions and presentation was slightly underwhelming. The ambiance was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the bustling view from the balcony. Everyone was pleasantly helpful and Adison our server was perfect and professional. I would visit here again.

   The inside the restaurant was really, really uncomfortably cold. Our table upstairs was located right under an air vent that blew so strongly that my hair and the table cloth on our table were moving around! When mentioned to our server he offered to turn off the air if possible and/or move our table, but it's hard to believe any patrons were comfortable at that temp. The food portions were small for the price - we ordered the shrimp & grits app which was nearly $20 and only came with 2 pieces of shrimp. The grits were great, the shrimp was WAY overdone.. Sadly that was the story for my fish entry as well. My husband had the Asian BBQ shrimp - he said it was pretty good. The highlight for me was the desert course - we ordered the bread pudding which was warm and spongy. Service was great.

    This was a nice little place. Nicely decorated, friendly staff and service was efficient. Not too loud. Only complaint would be the mushroom risotto. My daughter and I were looking forward to it, but there was too much (a huge bowl of it) and it was very bland. I would have liked half of the amt because risotto is very heavy and then add some seasoning, and then added a vegetable with it like broccolini or sauteed squash. The baguette with whipped ricotta was to die for and husband's short ribs were very very good. Flourless torte was just so so - a little dry.

    I really wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. The decor, location and atmosphere are excellent. My old fashioned came with same same small ice cubes as a sangria that was ordered. For an old fashioned at a restaurant like this I'd expect an ice block. The oyster mushroom special appetizer was impossible to cut with a fork, and we didn't have any knives on our table nor anyone to ask as we ate them. The mushrooms were literally like rubber bands. The gnocchi was mush. The swordfish and shirt ribs were excellent. We dined upstairs inside, as we were eating a couple came inside from the balcony with their dog on a leash. I thought it was strange to allow a dog inside a reataurant that seems to be aiming for fine dining. Our sever was also great. I think this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

    This was our first experience and we loved everything about this restaurant! The service was wonderful from start to end. All of our meals were excellent, nicely presented and delicious. We will definitely return! We thank whoever responded to my OpenTable special request to be moved inside if it was too cool outdoors. They accommodated us with a lovely circular table upstairs. I love that they take reservations, unlike other restaurants. Looking forward to next time!

    I had the best meal of our vacation. The Floridian Cabio fish. And our waitress, Gabby, went above and beyond catering to my wife’s onion allergy. She was both professional and engaging and added to the great meal.

    The food was amazing. We had a drink before dinner at the bar. Our bartender, Ryleigh was amazing. She was also our server at dinner. She was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. My meringue lemon martini was wonderful. I would highly recommend St George Restaurant and Ryleigh.

    Beautiful spot with delicious food!!! We sat outside with a view of the fort. I had the tuna and my husband had the pork chop-both were amazing! Highly recommend for a quiet and romantic dinner!

    Food was not as described on menu. Cobia was supposed be served with arugula which was missing. The fish was also overcooked and dried out. Chicken marsala sauce had no evidence of marsala wine but more like brown gravy. Service was very good.

    Our first time trying the restaurant and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was not. We ordered a salad to share and two entrees--our waitress forgot to put the salad in so the entrees arrived with no salad to start. We then ordered a dessert to share and a cappuccino for me. She brought a regular coffee instead of the cappuccino. Not sure what the issue was but it needs to be better.

    My husband and I come up every couple of months from Orlando for a quick weekend getaway. We have never tried this place, we absolutely loved it. The view was amazing. The outdoor patio has views that are breathtaking. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful.

    Great experience with everything except a couple of issues with the food. First, it was $8 for a small roll, where most places would provide it for free. I honestly do not mind being charged, but it was very small and that’s just to expensive for any bread … even post pandemic. Cobia was pretty, but nothing special with the flavor combination not working well. Burger was ok, but pricey at $20 … It did come with a ton of fries. The staff and ambiance were great. Great staff and it was very nice to sit outside.

    We had shrimp and grits which was very good. One of us had the pecan and bacon waffle with bourbon whipped cream and fried chicken. It was delicious. We went for brunch however serving sizes could have been slightly bigger.

    Best restaurant in St. Augustine. All others are distant second. Hostess/reception and seating process is very welcoming. Design and ambiance 4 stars. Food outstanding. Only dings were below average wine list and my choice of dessert was just OK (berry tart). Will return again and recommend to others.
