We ate at Sainte George in December last year and thought it was good. This dining experience was not good and we ended up leaving. The restaurant was very hot inside. The glasses were dirty, and the water they brought to the table was room temperature and the bottle was also dirty. The service was slow and after waiting about 20 minutes to order, we decided to leave.

It was a beautiful night for sitting outside, and Logan provided excellent service. My husband's fried chicken was a little overcooked, making it difficult to cut or bite into the skin. Brussell Sprouts and Short Rib entree were good. It was a little more expensive than expected, but the service, view, and perfect weather helped make it a very enjoyable experience.

The drinks were good if a bit expensive. Appetizer: fried brussels sprouts - under seasoned, but overall tasty. Entrees: Lobster risotto could have used a bit more lobster, but overall good. Pork Chop (with mashed potatoes & broccolini) - zero criticism - was delicious.

My husband needed to be here for a business trip so I tagged along. Having never been to St. Augustine prior, I relied on reviews to choose a restaurant. The reviews for Saints George were great so we chose to try it. The service from arrival to departure was superb. The hostess was charming, walked at our pace, rather than several steps ahead and was very polite. Our waitress wore a smile our entire visit. She was attentive and the service flowed perfectly. That’s where the good ends. We ordered the red snapper served over a cheesy orzo and a ribeye with chimichurri sauce and salad. The fish was dry but had good flavor and the orzo was over cooked. The cook on the ribeye was terrible. Zero flavor and “iced” in a n oily chimichurri. The salad, however was really fresh, but you’d have to really like bleu cheese. We sat on the balcony, which should’ve been a great experience. The view was spectacular. Watching boats sail around along with families playing together on the grounds was so sweet BUT all of that was spoiled by the many, many loud motorcycles passing by, seemingly doing loops through town. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. We ended up leaving our dinner half eaten and left the restaurant.

Had Saturday lunch, which was just okay. We found the meals (fish sandwich, chicken waffles, and chicken sandwich) to be salty. Cornbread was delicious. Wish they had brunch menu online. Service was slow.

My Server, Gabby, was amazing. The food was great and so was the view. The restaurant is in an ideal location. I will definitely dine there again when in St Augustine.

Change for the worse??? Not certain if there has been a change in management, but the service, ambiance, and quality of food was certainly noticeable. Will make certain to go back to see if these items improve before we take our next business meeting there.

Yeah, ambience of this upstairs restaurant overlooking the Saint Augustine. Fort is absolutely breathtaking. Our server could not be more cordial and knowledgeable. Thank you Mallory great job. I had a delicious Pinot Grigio from Italy, as well as the sun-dried tomatoes and the short rib empanadas as appetizer‘s.

They were slammed and tired but respected our 9 pm reservation. Fantastic Two seater out on the veranda with fresh breeze flowing. Charles the bartender showed up and recommended manhattans to start the evening… delicious, followed by 3 appetizers (large portions and unique ), finishing off with a corn bread skillet as dessert. Charles closed the deal with two final cocktails to finish off… his own concoctions which were fab. Great personalized service, delicious food and drinks and nice weather. Couldn’t ask for more…

Nice location, beautiful view. The food was good, however not exceptional. We were actually expecting more. Our main dish was quite simple (market fish) and in our opinion way overpriced. That would be our main concern. I guess the location comes with a price.

The food was very good at this fun place where we sat on the balcony for a great view of downtown and the waterfront. I had the fresh catch snapper with orzo. Others in my group had the ribeye, hamburger, and miso-coated salmon. All of it was very tasty, not ordinary. The food came out really piping hot and fresh. The fried green tomato appetizer was really good and served piping hot, too. It's a bit crowded both to sit (you might bump into the next table) and to walk through, but it's ok. One suggestion? If you are serving hamburgers, ya gotta have mustard. (We were told they didn't have any.) We'll be back!

Great ambiance, good food... disappointed there were no specials. Limited menu so check it out online before going. Our 2nd time here so we knew ahead of time. Apple tartan dessert was so good!

So love that Sainte George takes reservations. We always request outdoor seating, corner table with view of the fort, the lighthouse and the City Gates. Crossbreeze is so enjoyable and the food and service were amazing. It's one of our favorite jewels in St. Augustine! Thank you!

As always, Saint George ends up being one the best experiences when we visit St. Augustine. I look forward to the quietness of this restaurant, their attention to detail and their overall customer service (even when you go with children). It's a refreshing extra that I never miss to mention to the staff. Noah was fantastic and attentive. Interacted with our family nicely and offered up his own favorites from the menu. Extremely attentive. The food was delicious from the cheese board to the seasonal tomato basil soup to the salmon risotto salad, all of our items were crafted beautifully. The children menu is good too but it would be nice to have more choices for the pasta sauces. A simple Alfredo or even a lively pesto sauce could do the trick. Great experience as always and yes, we are always coming back! Congrats to the amazing staff of this lovely restaurant. Thank you! With appreciation, VVDP

Always visit Sainte-George when in St. Augustine. Under new ownership now and a few changes to the menu, but everything was delicious. Miso Salmon was excellent with a slight hint of spicy heat and the Snapper was perfectly cooked. Service was top-notch as usual. Oh, forgot to mention that the Nepalese Dumplings with Asian slaw was a terrific starter.

I DONT RECOMMEND!! We had a reservation for 8:30 and the restaurant closes at 10. Upon arrival we were the only people there… we sit down order our food everything is all good. I then try to order a mock tail and the waitress says the bar is closed so I said that was fine. When the food comes I try to order a coke and she says the soda machine is off or something so I said okay but found it weird. When we’re done with our food I ask for a dessert menu and she says that the kitchen had all left already. It was completely RIDICULOUS and UNPROFESSIONAL. If there are still customers in the restaurant and you know the kitchen is leaving you should ask the customer if they were thinking about dessert before the kitchen leaves. This place was completely ridiculous and don’t recommend to anyone!!!! On top of everything the food wasn’t even all that.

The location across the Fort is wonderful. Great views no matter where you are. However, the food is overpriced & not what you would expect. The fried green tomatoes were 3 slices of tomato for $18. They were unseasoned and not great. My husband ordered a steak & they got the temperature so wrong we had to send it back. Our waitress was pleasant but not educated on the menu. All in all I would never go back - it is not fine dining at all. The views are great - but not worth the $.

Very disappointing meal unfortunately. After reading some great reviews, my wife and I were really looking forward to dining here. I think they’re trying too hard with the “Euro” style of cooking. The flavor of my ribeye wasn’t what you’d expect. I ordered it medium and it came rare. My wife’s fried chicken coating was hard as a brick and tasted of raw flour. Cornbread was awful. Like too much baking powder. The Mac & Cheese was total overdone mush. We honestly haven’t had a meal this bad in a while. Hopefully they were just having an off day. Well, you win some, you lose some. We will scratch this place off our list.

The restaurant was a beautiful gem in the middle of historic downtown. We came in on a stormy evening and they offered us towels and blankets to keep warm and dry. We started with some cocktails and the calamari. We dipped bread in the flavorful broth. We had fried chicken dish, and the salmon. Everything was fantastic! There was someone doing live music too. Definitely recommend.

I honestly feel really bad to say this, but the food was not good at all, drinks were not made well, and the air conditioning was not working. Some of my meat was undercooked and the pasta was over cooked.
